Yang Xinyu and Wu Lina returned to the penthouse totally exhausted after spending an entire day of shopping. When their car reached the 'House of Fengs' they saw a heard of reporters waiting outside. The security of the building had been upgraded and no one other than those who lived there or the ones with privileged membership card of the nightclub were allowed to enter.

When they saw so many reporters the security men who had gone with them asked them to enter the building from the backside.

The driver circled the building and dropped them near the rear entrance. As soon as they stepped out the car the security men surrounded them to accompany them to the parking area and took the elevator to the penthouse.

There were several security men standing near the entrance. Wu Lina was flustered. "Why are there so many security men?" she asked.

"Lina, please try to get used to them. It is important for you right now. The paparazzi will troll you crazily the moment you will go out of the house," he said. "I cannot take any chances with you," he added wrapping his arms around her shoulders.

By the time they had reached the penthouse, it was perfectly arranged. She was impressed. She made her way to their bedroom while Yang Xinyu called the housekeeper Mrs. Jiao to make the evening tea for them.

Mrs. Jiao was an experienced woman who had lived with the Yang family for over eight years. She knew his preferences. She went to the kitchen to prepare lotus tea for the couple.

Yang Xinyu entered the bedroom to witness Wu Lina's clothes scattered on the floor one after the other. Even her shoes were kicked off in different directions. She was lying on the bed in a crop top and panties revealing her stomach, her legs outstretched and hands over her head on the pillow. He smiled and came near her to see that she had already fallen asleep. He covered her with a blanket and collected her clothes and shoes and piled them neatly leaving them for Mrs. Jiao to care of. After taking a shower he came and slept next to her pulling her on him… The blanket was tossed aside in a few minutes…

Mrs. Jiao came to give them tea. She knocked the door but no one answered. As per the habit she opened the door to keep the tea on the table inside the bedroom. But when she saw them sleeping in such a position, her hands started shaking out of embarrassment making the teapot and the cups chink. Wu Lina and Yang Xinyu stirred a little but went back to sleep. Poor Mrs. Jiao immediately left the bedroom as quietly as possible making a mental note to never enter the bedroom of the master and the mistress unless verbally asked!

She smiled when she came outside, being happy for Yang Xinyu. She hoped that they got married soon.

Wu Lina woke up late in the evening at about 8pm. She found herself comfortably tucked in the blanket. When she looked up she saw Yang Xinyu sitting on the chaise chair near the bed sipping tea and working on his laptop. She got up rubbing her eyes and lifting her hands above her head giving a mild twist to her body stretching it to loosen the muscles. Her blanket slipped down and Yang Xinyu gawked at her. He forgot that the tea in his hand was hot and drank a mouthful of it mindlessly burning his palate in the process. "Ah! Ouch! Phu, phuu!" he made all sorts of sounds to cool down the burning sensation. Wu Lina leapt out of the bed to check on him. She poured some cold water for him to sip immediately.

"What happened?" She asked innocently standing next to him in her crop top with her hands on her waist.

Yang Xinyu looked at her funnily. He was unable to keep away from her and unable to pull her in his lap and kiss her. She stroked his back. "There, there," she said as if patting her pet dog. Yang Xinyu could almost imagine a collar around his neck!

She bent down revealing her cleavage to examine his lips, which were red now. Not able to resist she gave him a slight peck on them and gave more water before going to take a shower.

When Yang Xinyu's burning sensation calmed down, he looked towards the bathroom and said annoyingly, "Wu Lina, you tease!"

Wu Lina made a warm bath for herself pouring a large amount of lavender bathing gel in it. When she immersed herself into the warm water, her body relaxed. She opened her eyes few minutes later only to find Yang Xinyu standing in front of her staring at her intently.

She smiled and said, "Can you pour some wine for me?"

Yang Xinyu couldn't ask for anything else. He immediately went outside and fetched her favorite wine. Although he had taken a shower he had full intentions of joining her in the tub. He looked at her seductively, stepped forward a little only to get disturbed by his phone that started ringing. It was from his Vice President and so he stepped out.

Seeing the crashed hopes of Yang Xinyu, Wu Lina chuckled. She took a sip from her wine glass and went back to resting. Her mind wandered to Lai MingXing who had been a pillar of support when she had distanced herself from Yang Xinyu. She wanted to meet him and introduce him to Yang Xinyu but somehow he had just disappeared from her life. She decided to call him and invite him for dinner. She wanted to call Zhou Zhili and Bo Xilai also for dinner. She thought of calling all of them together…

Back somewhere in his favorite restaurant where he had seen her for the first time, he was sitting at the same place and he was drunk to the gills… he took out the engagement ring from the inside of his suit and stared at it… he cursed himself for introducing himself as Lai MingXing… had he introduced himself by his true name, he would have proposed to her much earlier and she would have been his… he threw the glass on the floor much to the bewilderment of people around and staggered his way to the exit. What would be she doing now...? He longed to see her…

When Wu Lina came out after a long bath she chose to wear pale red silk lingerie from her collection that Yang Xinyu had bought for her.
