Yang Chún qiàn lost it when she saw him smiling foolishly. "Has your brain fuddled? Do you realize how cunning she is? She has weaved a web of lies around you. She is a gold digger. It was apparent in her eyes when I talked to her. She was looking at our living room greedily and even went to your room to find out about your hobbies."

Yang Xinyu's smile went further up when he heard that she had gone to his room. 'She has seen my room too. What all she must have done there? Did she sit on my bed? Did she see her photo there? Wu Lina, please don't give me more reasons to love you. I won't be able to endure so much happiness.'

His mother was astonished at his stupid expressions and quiet demeanor. She wanted to smack him and bring him out of his reverie. She looked for help at the Chairman, who was deep in thought.

The Chairman had always tried to suppress any scandal that had the potential to hurt his company's image, and here this boy, the legitimate heir of his company was tossing his carefully built image in a day. Why couldn't he be sensible in the matters of heart?

"Yang Xinyu, I suggest now that you've already announced your relationship with that nurse, you stay in this situation for some days and we will announce after a month's time that you both have broken up due to incompatibility. Don't worry, we will compensate her nicely," he said very calmly as if trying to test his love for her.

Yang Xinyu became furious.

And lastly, Wu Lina works as a coder in the Yang Corporation now, so the contract is null and void." he said in a very serious tone.

Yang Chún qiàn was dumbfounded. She didn't know what to say. She was truly at a loss now.

"You can't touch her. And if you try to harm her I will be the first one to cut off my ties with you," he snarled at her. "And I would do it legally. You wouldn't have to bother about it."

"You.." shrieked Chún qiàn. Her body was shaking in anger. How could her son blindly be in love with a woman to the extent that he was ready to leave the world for her?

On the other hand looking at his son's level of commitment, Chairman Yang Ming-Chang secretly admired him. With his string of affairs, he thought some of his defective genes might have passed onto him, but his son got most of his genes from his mother. He smiled inwards and respected his son's decision. Since Chún qiàn was in such a furious state, he didn't dare to speak a word against her. So he chose to remain quiet.

"Oh! One more thing - I don't care whether you throw me out of this house. I won't leave Wu Lina. You have tortured us more than enough, to the extent that both of us wanted to end our lives. But now, no more!" he said and started to go out.

"Yang Xinyu!" his mother shrieked and called him. "Is that girl more important than your family?"

He smiled and stopped in his tracks. "Yes, she is light in my dark world," he replied and left.

The Chairman was not opposed to the idea of marrying him to Wu Lina. He didn't want to tie his son in a loveless marriage like his father did to him. He was happy that Yang Xinyu had moved on with his life, and that Ying Yue was a thing of past. Later he would inform Yang Chún qiàn that he supported his son wholeheartedly. Overall, he was in a good mood. The Chairman also left quietly.

He went to his third mistress to see his youngest son. He gave the news to her and told his son that he must follow his elder brother's footsteps in all aspects of life, including romance. Young Yang Láichén who was busy playing with his PS4 gave a puzzled look to his father before continuing his game.

The Chairman knew that his company's future was in the right hands. He looked affectionately at his younger son and decided to call all his children for dinner in their old family house. He made a mental note of that and placed calls to his daughters. His first daughter was in the midst of a party so she cut his phone, but the second one who was in Spain greeted him enthusiastically. His heart filled with warmth.

Yang Chen Lin sensed that her father was in a very good mood, so she took the opportunity to break the news about her love interest and said, "Father, can I say something?" She waited.

"Sure, what is it?"

"I am in love. He stays here in Spain…"

Chairman Yang Ming-Chang was in such a benevolent mood that he couldn't say 'no' to his lovely daughter.

"What's his name and more importantly what does he do?" he asked trying to hide his excitement.

"His name is Sebastian and he is the owner of the IT firm we just acquired in Spain," she replied.

Ohhhhh! The Chairman was too old. How could he miss this small detail? He slapped his head and agreed to his daughter's love interest, but not before he grilled her a bit more. "Yang Chen Li, I think your brother, Ah Xinyu also knew about Sebastian?"

"Yes father," she replied nervous for her brother. She didn't want him to be reprimanded by their father for her.

"When did he come to know about it?" he asked.

"Father he was already aware of this situation when the decision to takeover the company in Spain was made," she was now all the more worried and considered calling her brother in case father became angry.

But what followed was incredulous.

"I am happy that your big brother has taken the initiative. He is an intelligent boy and you should trust him. If he is okay with it, I am sure Sebastian is the right man for you. You have my blessings," he replied warmly.

Yang Chen Li couldn't believe what she heard! She was on top of the world. "Thank you father!" Tears started forming in her eyes and she hugged Sebastian who was sitting on the bed with a laptop in front of him. Not able to understand a word of their conversation, Sebastian looked at her questioningly.

"When is the wedding?" asked the Chairman.

"Father, whenever you allow. Sebastian is keen on marrying as soon as possible," she replied bashfully.

"In that case I will let you know," he said and disconnected the phone.

Today he was on the top of the world! Two of his children were getting married. He really had to call them for dinner in the old family house. He planned on getting Yang Xinyu and Yang Chen Li engaged on the same day. He was waiting for Yang Xinyu to finalize the date of his engagement, and if his son failed to finalize it, he would hold the ceremony within a month.

Yang Chún qiàn was the only person he was wary about. She was capable of doing irreparable damages. He placed a call to his secretary and asked him to arrange a meeting with the company lawyer. He had to take permanent measures so that everything fell into place to prevent his wife from taking drastic actions that could affect Yang Xinyu's well being and harm the company. The company was doing too well under Yang Xinyu's able guidance. If it had been in his control, he would have locked away Yang Chún qiàn on an island until Yang Xinyu married! The Chairman chuckled at his evil thought.

Yang Láichén looked at his father again and shook his head wondering what had gone wrong with him. Was he becoming senile?
