He continued to tease her for another half-an-hour. When she was totally peeved and refused to talk to him, he kissed her passionately on her lips. He could bear his girl's outbursts and physical violence but his heart pained when she wouldn't talk. It was the first time Wu Lina was so irritated. He made a mental note to tease her less on the tease-scale.

He held her face in his hands and said, "Do you remember that you had promised me something before I left for England?"

She nodded her head, not willing to talk to him.

"Then get ready. I want to take you somewhere," he said excitedly.

Quietly she got up from his lap and changed into a pink shirt and a blue denim skirt that covered her thighs, tied her hair in a pony and wore sneakers. She looked like a high school girl. Yang Xinyu threw his pajama on the bed to wear low-rise shorts.

Yang Xinyu held her hand and they went downstairs to his car. He opened the passenger seat door for her and after she sat there, strapped her in the seat belt.

"You don't have to do that. I know how to strap my seatbelt," she made a face at him.

"Of course, I have to do that. I have to ensure your safety baby," he grinned.

Then he went to the driver seat, started the engine and hit the pedal. They reached the office of the Yang Corporation in less than thirty minutes because the traffic was less.

It was her first time entering the Yang Corporation. She was mesmerized by the plush interiors of the building. The entire outer façade was covered with giant blue colored glasses. There were beautiful green plants that were kept at regular intervals to enhance the décor. The white tiled floor was spotless. There was a large counter at the front desk built from black granite. The office was equipped with biometric security. One had to scan their thumbprint to enter the premises.

Yang Xinyu guided her through the security doors to the elevator. He pressed the button of the topmost floor. The elevator door opened in an alley. He turned to the left side and climbed a few stairs before reaching his newly built lounge, which was his gift for her. Wu Lina followed him looking around the building in awe.

He opened the lounge and gave her an extra set of keys. "I had been busy making this lounge for us," he said huskily and picked her in his arms to carry her over the threshold, as he would have done if she were his bride. Once they were inside he put her down. He closed the door and turned towards her.

Wu Lina was inspecting this tiny, yet plush lounge that had exquisite furniture. There was a bed on one side, which was large enough for the two of them. The bedside table had a beautiful modern lamp perched on it. There was a cozy sofa and a chaise chair. A small table was placed on the corner of the sofa. An Apple computer overlooking the study table caught her attention. The lounge opened into a walk-in closet that had a bathroom adjacent to it.

"Do you like it?" he asked looking at her.

"It's beautiful! So cozy," she said with a face splitting grin. Wu Lina was impressed and threw her on him to give a long kiss.

"This is my first gift to our relationship," he said tenderly holding her in his arms.

Wu Lina was moved and turned around with her back facing him to see the room again. He hugged her from behind and rested his head on hers. Taking out the phone from his pant pocket he clicked their photo and named it as 'Our first home'.

"But I can't accept such an expensive gift Yang Xinyu," she said still looking around the room.

"It is normal for a boyfriend to take care of his girl, and now that you are my girl you have to accept it. I told you – there is no going back," he said squeezing her hard. He wanted to take care of all her finances but knew that she would reject the offer outright!
