The first thing that she did without opening any of those was to text Yang Xinyu:

[Feeling trapped in your lounge! You should have taken me back to my home!]

Yang Xinyu who was in a meeting saw a message flash on his screen, and smiled. 'So she is awake now'.

Employees present in the meeting were startled to see their otherwise indifferent, cold CEO, smiling and texting someone. Their interest piqued. They were all the more astonished when they saw a shoddily wrapped bandage on his index finger!

He replied:

[You shouldn't have alcohol. It is not good for you since you are having your periods.]

Prompt came the reply:

[That's none of your business!]

He whistled under his breath, "Oh baby you have no idea!"

[Then whose business is it?] He texted back.

She didn't answer.

Then he remembered that her clothes must be dirty and since she couldn't come out of the lounge, she was feeling trapped. He immediately texted his driver to go and buy dresses for her. He sent him the size and also told him about the store where he could pick the dresses from.

His finger was hurting again. He texted his family health physician to come over to the office, and take a look at it.

While he was texting, most of the employees were looking at their boss who had now adorned a faint smile.

After berating Yang Xinyu, Wu Lina checked other messages and emails on her phone. There was one very urgent from Zhou Zhili asking her about her whereabouts. She was scared that Wu Lina's absence from the office will further irate the already mad CEO Yang.

Wu Lina replied her that she had had a lot of alcohol yesterday evening at Zhang Wei's birthday party and her head was hurting. Her battery had died, so she was unable to receive messages. She asked Zhou Zhili to tell her boss that she will be taking one week's leave from today!

Zhou Zhili, who was having coffee, spat it on her skirt when she saw Wu Lina's message.

She immediately called Wu Lina. "Are you trying to kill me? Do you want to see my tombstone? I have yet to marry, have kids and grow old with my future husband."

Wu Lina chuckled and said, "I am joking Zhou Zhili. I will attend the office after lunch. So sorry to bother you."

Zhou Zhili patted her chest to calm down, "Please Wu Lina, don't even joke like that. CEO Yang gets mad every time he sees you but he gets madder when you are not around!" Seeing Bo Xilai coming towards her with a document in hand Zhou Zhili cut the phone. She texted CEO Yang that Wu Lina will be joining in the afternoon.

Half an hour later the guard came up with few dresses to the lounge. He was instructed to keep them outside the door.

Wu Lina received the text message from Yang Xinyu:

[The fresh dresses have arrived. They are outside the door. You can wear one of them and come to the office.]

Wu Lina jumped out of the sofa and went outside to get the dresses. There were five of them, all her size. All of them were branded and over 3000 Yuan. She shook her head and rebuked him silently for splurging.

She decided to wear a light yellow dress that had floral motifs all over. Her petite frame had fitted in the dress perfectly as if it was tailor made for her. She tied her hair up in a long pony.

By the time she dressed up and was ready to go out, Yang Xinyu entered the lounge with some food packets in his hand. He knew that she hadn't eaten since yesterday and whatever she ate was vomited.

When he saw her, he was captivated by her looks yet again. The yellow dress was looking beautiful on her. He wanted to entrap her, cage her forever. No one should see his gem.

He came out of the spell when he saw that she was leaving. He forbade her to leave dominatingly in a way that she sat back in her chair. Part of the reason why she agreed to stay back was because she was indeed very hungry.

Yang Xinyu laid the food on the table and they both started eating silently with Yang Xinyu glancing at her occasionally. He would pick large chunks of meat and place in her bowl every now and then.

Wu Lina's headache became milder and she was looking better. When they finished the lunch, she cleared the table and politely asked to leave thanking him at the same time. She was nervous since it was already two in the afternoon. There was a lot of work that had piled up. "I have to go now. Thanks for the dress and lunch," she said meekly.

Yang Xinyu came near her, held her chin and forced her to look at him. He planted a kiss on her lips before leaving her.

He sighed when she left him. He soon had to find a way for them to stay together forever.

After she left, he sat down for a while to take rest and saw the messages on his phone. He chuckled when he read Zhou Zhili's message.

The doctor was waiting for him when he reached the office.

"Young Master Xinyu, hope the injury is not serious," he looked at the bandage on his finger. Upon removing it he understood that kind of injury and told, "The teeth indentations are very clear. Who bit you?" he asked looking at Yang Xinyu with interest.

Yang Xinyu didn't answer. He didn't want to give him a chance to spread rumors.

Seeing his reluctance to talk, the doctor quietly carried on with his work. He disinfected the wound and applied medicine. He said, "The wound is not so deep so you don't need a bandage. This adhesive bandage is good enough. It will heal quickly." He got up to leave after finishing. Yang Xinyu thanked him with a smile.

Once the doctor had left Yang Xinyu took out his phone and clicked a photo of his wounded finger and saved it as 'Marked by Lina'.
