“Can we buy something from the supermarket first?” asked Zhang Xiuying.

“She should be fine,” said Wang Yao softly. He gently covered the baby with blanket.

“I said she should be fine. Aren’t the doctors going to review her hearing in a month? Let’s see how she is then,” said Wang Yao.

“You’re right, there is nothing else we can do,” said his uncle.

“Oh, I see. My baby also didn’t pass her first hearing test. Can he take a look?” asked the patient.

“I can ask for you,” said Wang Yao’s uncle.

“Great, thank you,” said the patient.

Wang Yao soon arrived at Li Maoshuang’s uncle’s room after he had entered the building.
