Chapter 359: Striving for Vindication?
Translator: Nyoi-Bo Studio Editor: Nyoi-Bo Studio
“That’s good,” Sun Zhengrong said. “Well…”
It seemed that Sun Zhengrong wanted to say something but didn’t know whether he should say it.
“Mr. Sun, what would you like to say?” Wang Yao said.
“I just want to ask if you are really able to use internal power to treat patients?” Sun Zhengrong asked.
He still remembered clearly how Wang Yao treated his son in his house the other day. Wang Yao neither gave Sun Yunsheng any herbs nor an acupuncture treatment. He didn’t even give him a massage. He just used his internal power to treat Yunsheng, like what was prescribed in the movies and novels. It was hard for Sun Zhengrong to believe it, even though he witnessed Wang Yao do it.
“Yes, I am able to,” Wang Yao said with a smile.
“Is it difficult to learn to control your internal power?” Sun Zhengrong asked.
“You want to learn?” Wang Yao was surprised. “It depends.”
“Depends on what?” Sun Zhengrong asked.
“As far as I know, most people will find it extremely difficult to learn to control their internal power, but some people find it easy,” Wang Yao said.
“I see. Can you teach me to control my internal power?” Sun Zhengrong asked.
“Sorry, I can’t,” Wang Yao said without hesitation.
“That’s alright. I shouldn’t have asked,” Sun Zhengrong said immediately.
He asked Wang Yao about internal power not only for his son but also for himself.
One’s internal power was magical. Almost every Chinese knew that internal power could not only enhance health and strength but also remove toxins and heal wounds. Most people wanted to learn how to control their internal power. Sun Zhengrong wanted his son to learn. If possible, he wanted to learn the skills himself. Apparently, Wang Yao didn’t want to teach him. He decided not to bring it up again. After all, comparing to the skills of controlling internal power, he valued Wang Yao’s medical skills more. He also wanted to maintain a good relationship with Wang Yao.
“As for Wu Yaoran, how would you like to deal with him?” Sun Zhengrong changed the topic right away.
“Him?” Wang Yao looked at the tea on the table. “Can he get a heavy sentence?”
Sun Zhengrong immediately got what Wang Yao wanted.
As I expect, he’s not the kind of person who will do good in return for evil.
Wu Yaoran had hired someone to harm Wang Yao. However, the person failed and was hurt by Wang Yao.
Wu Yaoran had completely wasted his money.
Lv Kai was upset. Wu Yaoran was upset, too. Fortunately he still had senses. He made a phone call to his father. Things would change because of the phone call.

“Wu Yaoran’s family in Shanghai?” Sun Zhengrong took a sip of green tea.
It’s going to be tricky. He looked through the window.
What did a business man want most? Benefit. What did a politician want most? It was also benefit.
Wu Yaoran’s family in Shanghai had money and power. They were one of the most prestigious families in Shanghai. Although they were not based in Ji province, they could get what they wanted through the powerful people in Ji province. They could exchange power or money. After all, Shanghai was one of the biggest cities in China.
Therefore, Lv Kai changed his statement. He stated that no one hired him to harm Wang Yao. It was purely his own will to harm Wang Yao. As a result, Wu Yaoran became innocent.
It was ridiculous. No one would believe it, let alone Sun Zhengrong.
“What’s going on?” He went to see a senior officer in the legal department.
“I just followed the instruction from my superior,” the officer said.
“Your superior?” Sun Zhengrong asked.
“Yes,” the officer replied.
“You have to follow his instruction?” Sun Zhengrong asked.
“Of course,” the officer said.
“The instruction was originally from Shanghai?” Sun Zhengrong asked.
Both Sun Zhengrong and the senior officer were clever people. They knew exactly what was going on.
Sun Zhengrong didn’t say anything else. He only left one sentence.
“Wu Yaoran has served sentences,” Sun Zhengrong said calmly.
If Wu Yaoran was released, it would be absolutely unfair. More importantly, it would be a slap to his face.
He was the most powerful person in Dao. All the other powerful people in Dao had to take him into consideration when they made a decision, as well as a lone person from a different place.
“I see,” the senior officer said after keeping silent for a moment. He knew Sun Zhengrong well.
This was Dao.
Meanwhile, Wang Yao was looking at the waves at the beach. He had no idea of what was going on in Dao.
He was not listening to any music. He didn’t feel the power of the ocean, either. He just had some thoughts, unspeakable thoughts. He stood on the beach for the whole morning staring at the ocean and waves. He only came to when Tong Wei called him.
“Hello. Sorry. I’m on my way to pick you up,” Wang Yao said.
He went back to the beach again in the afternoon. He picked a quieter place. This time, he had no feelings at all.
As I expected, some feelings come by luck and are not planned.
He then went to Sun Zhengrong’s house as promised. He was going to give Sun Yunsheng another treatment.

Sun Yunsheng looked much better than the last time Wang Yao met him.
“How are you?” Wang Yao asked.
“I’m much better. Thank you,” Sun Yunsheng replied.
After he had been treated by Wang Yao, who used his internal power, the most obvious feeling was that his body was no longer heavy. Previously, he constantly felt that he was burning in fire. It was a torture to his body and mind.
“Let me take a look,” Wang Yao said.
After he had seen Sun Yunsheng, he found the excessive yang energy in Sun Yunsheng’s body had significantly reduced.
Wang Yao continued to use internal power to treat Sun Yunsheng. He absorbed the yang energy into his own body. He then resolved it using his Qi. He continued until Sun Yunsheng couldn’t bear the treatment anymore.
After the treatment was finished, Sun Yunsheng thought, What a nice feeling!
He didn’t feel comfortable during the session, but he did feel very comfortable after the session. For Sun Yunsheng, the feeling was like spring had come to him. He no longer needed to wear thick clothes and pants. He felt comfortable. It was as if Wang Yao had sucked the pain out of his body.
Is he going to be okay after doing this? Sun Yunsheng was a bit worried about Wang Yao.
“Today’s session is over,” Wang Yao said..
Sun Yunsheng thanked Wang Yao sincerely.
To express his gratitude, Sun Zhengrong invited Wang Yao for dinner at his house. He also asked Wang Yao to bring Tong Wei. Wang Yao declined the invitation.
It would be nice to have a simple meal in Sun Zhengrong’s house, but he still would feel a bit awkward. He would rather have a candlelight dinner with Tong Wei.
…
“What? I’m going to the jail?” Wu Yaoran, who was kept in the detention center temporarily, was shocked.
He thought his father had solved everything for him. He had expected to leave in no time. He had no idea what had happened. He tried to get in contact with his family.
Shanghai was the most developed city in China in terms of economics. The most well-known feature of Shanghai was not the Bund, but the shocking property price.
Inside a house near the beach was a man in his 40s. He looked young.
“What?” He frowned after he picked up the phone call.
“I thought we made the arrangement,” the middle-aged man said. “Okay, I see.”
He hung up the phone and looked through the window.
The night view of Shanghai was the best in China.
Dao?
He never gave a damn about that city.
It’s gonna be tricky!
At the moment, Dao had become a fish bone in his throat. He had no choice. He decided to visit Dao himself.
…
“I’ll go back tomorrow,” Wang Yao said to Tong Wei.
“I’ll go with you,” Tong Wei said with a smile.
She had nothing to do in Dao. Plus, she was very much in love with Wang Yao. She wanted to spend as much time as possible with him. In addition, she didn’t think Dao suited her.
“You don’t need to work?” Wang Yao asked.
“Yes, but I have annual leave,” Tong Wei said.
Tong Wei was employed by an international company, which offered all of their employees annual leave. She had changed her point of view toward work. She could find another job, but she probably couldn’t find another person more suitable to be a boyfriend than Wang Yao.
Tong Wei applied for annual leave the next day. She went back to Lianshan with Wang Yao.
As soon as Wang Yao and Tong Wei had left Dao, someone arrived in Dao.
“Someone wants to see me?” Sun Zhengrong asked with surprise.
The person who wanted to meet Sun Zhengrong was in a special position. He was employed by the Shanghai government. To be precise, he wanted to meet with Sun Zhengrong on behalf of a powerful person from Shanghai.
“So what brings you here?” Sun Zhengrong asked.
“Secretary Qiu wants you to step back,” the officer said.
“Why?” Sun Zhengrong asked.
“Wu Yaoran’s father has come here. He has decided to help build an electric device processing factory in Dao,” the officer from Shanghai replied.
“I see.” Sun Zhengrong nodded with a smile. “Good, very good.”
At this moment, Sun Zhengrong couldn’t do anything more. This was the situation in China. Everything was dominated by money and power. Everybody knew it.
If Sun Zhengrong insisted on a harsh punishment for Wu Yaoran, he might have to face severe consequences.
“Secretary Qiu said that a person has to pay for his or her mistakes. Wu Yaoran will stay in the detention center for one more month,” the officer said.
“Fine!” Sun Zhengrong had to take a step back.
He was based in Dao, so he couldn’t fall out with the most powerful officer in the local government. If he did, Secretary Qiu would make his life difficult.
“Dad, how come you are here?” Wu Yaoran didn’t expect his father to come in person.
“You would be in big trouble if I didn’t come,” his father said calmly. “We will talk about this after you are out of here.”
