Chapter 307: Who Was Arrogant? Who Was Frivolous?

Zhang Xiuying and Wang Fenghua were relieved after Wang Yao had explained the pill further. They didn’t want to keep the pill at home if it was worth a lot of money.
“Sis, do you know the condition of the person you saved?” asked Wang Yao.
“I don’t.” Wang Ru shook her head. “I’m not a doctor. I saw that he was old, and he suddenly fell to the ground, and I thought he was going to die. I happened to have the pill you gave me, so I just gave it to him.”
“Then he came to thank me, and wanted to give me money, but I didn’t accept it,” added Wang Ru.
“Did he ask about the pill?” asked Wang Yao.
“Yes, he said he was willing to pay big money for the formula of the pill. I told him the pill was given by someone by chance. Don’t worry, I’m not going to sell you out,” said Wang Ru.
“That’s good,” said Wang Yao with a smile.
He then had dinner with his family happily.
It started to rain after dinner.
“Are you going back up to Nanshan Hill?” asked Zhang Xiuying.
“Yes. It has become my routine now,” said Wang Yao.
His family had gotten used to his routine, so they didn’t stop him.
The weather?
Wang Yao looked up at the sky after returning to Nanshan Hill.
The rain won’t stop for a few days.
The rain got heavier in the middle of the night. The drops of rain hit the window, making loud sounds.
The hill in the rain was especially quiet.
Woof!
San Xian suddenly stood up in his dog house and stared at the top of the hill.
“What’s wrong, San Xian?” Wang Yao put on a jacket and got off bed. He looked through the window but didn’t see anything. It was completely dark outside. The rain was quite heavy, like a curtain between the sky and the earth. Wang Yao couldn’t see the other side of the hill.
Nothing. At least, Wang Yao couldn’t see anything wrong from his cottage. However, San Xian’s response indicated something was happening.
San Xian got out of his dog house. Wang Yao followed him with an umbrella.
San Xian stopped after walking for a short distance.
What is this?
Wang Yao looked at the pond in front of him, which was an important part of the Spirit Gathering Battle Array. He attracted the spring water from the top of the hill into the pond. At the moment, the spring water ran from the top of the hill into the pond, then went out from one side into the soil to nurture the trees and herbal field. The surplus water then ran back into the hill.
What is this?
Wang Yao took a close look into the pond.
The spring water in the pond was particularly clear under the moonlight. Wang Yao noticed somewhere down the pond, the water kept bubbling up.
Bubbling?
There was a bubbling spring in the pond.
“Wonderful!” said Wang Yao with a smile. “You were barking for this?” Wang Yao pointed at the bubbling spring to San Xian.
Woof! San Xian barked as response.
“This is fine.” Wang Yao rubbed San Xian’s head.
He took a closer look at the bottom of the pond. The mouth of the spring was not big. It was about the size of a baby’s fist.

Nice.
Wang Yao smiled, then returned to the cottage. He kept thinking of the spring in the pond while he laid on his bed. The Spirit Gathering Battle Array had started to affect the herbal field and its surroundings.
The rain kept going for the whole night, and didn’t stop, even in the morning.
Wang Yao got up very early. The spring was still bubbling. It looked especially clear at this time of the day.
…
Meanwhile, Li Shaoyang was in a pub at Haiqu.
“What is going on, Mr. Li? You were not happy with the girl yesterday?” said a bald young man with a smile.
“Forget about it.” Li Shaoyang shook his hand. He didn’t even want to think of her.
The girl he met last night was very pretty. She also had a nice figure. If it was the old Li Shaoyang, he would have spent a passionate night with the girl. However, He hadn’t forgotten about what his uncle said to him during his trip to the police station.
“If this happens again, I’ll get you castrated!” This is what Li Shaoyang’s uncle told him.
A man without his crucial part was no longer a man.
So, Li Shaoyang hadn’t slept with any girls for a long while, which annoyed him deeply.
“Have you found that person?” asked Li Shaoyang.
“Yes, I was going to arrange someone to visit him, but the weather…” said the bald young man.
“Don’t worry about the weather,” said Li Shaoyang.
“Okay,” said the bald young man with a smile. Then he made a phone call.
“What happened between you and him? Why are you in such a hurry?” asked the bald young man.
“I want to ask him something in person,” said Li Shaoyang.
As noon approached, two young men drove onto the muddy path leading to Nanshan Hill.
“What the hell is this place? I can’t even find it on GPS,” said the bald young man.
“It’s almost noon. We can have some food first,” suggested his friend.
“Okay,” said the bald young man.
The two of them saw a restaurant after driving for a short while. They stopped the car and ordered some dishes inside.
“Hello, I want to ask you about a place,” said the bald young man.
“What is the place?” asked the owner of the restaurant.
The bald young man told him the name of Wang Yao’s village.
“Oh, I know the village. It is not far from here, just keep driving that way. What do you need to go to the village for?” asked the owner.
“I’m looking for a person,” said the bald young man.
“Who?” asked the owner.
“Well, his name is Wang Yao I think,” said the bald young man.
“Wang Yao?” asked the owner in surprise.
“Do you know him?” asked the bald young man.
“No.” The owner shook his head. “You two enjoy the dishes. Let me know if you need me.”
“Okay,” said the bald young man.
The owner of the restaurant went to the backyard and called Wang Yao after thinking on it for a short while. Wang Yao went to his restaurant for dinner quite often and was a loyal client. The owner noticed that the two men had tattoos on the arms, and cigarettes in their mouths. They looked like hooligans. They didn’t look like nice people, so the owner thought they might be looking for trouble.

“Okay, I see, thank you,” said Wang Yao.
He hung up the phone, packed up, and left Nanshan Hill.
Now he knew two people looking like hooligans were looking for him, and they had arrived next door to his village. Although Wang Yao didn’t know why they were looking for him, he didn’t think it would be anything good.
“Hey, I thought you were not coming back for lunch,” said Zhang Xiuying.
Because it was still raining outside, and Wang Yao had just called home not too long ago, saying he wouldn’t come home for lunch, Zhang Xiuying was surprised to see her son.
“We might have visitors later,” said Wang Yao.
“Visitors? What visitors? Are they coming here for lunch?” asked Zhang Xiuying.
“No,” said Wang Yao.
A while after lunch, at about 1 pm, someone knocked at the door loudly.
They are here!
Wang Yao went to open the door and saw two young men. Both of them had a medium build, looked to be around 28 years old, and good-looking, but didn’t look like they were in good mood. Both of them had cigarettes in their mouths, and tattoo on their arms, just like the restaurant owner described.
One of them had a fish tattoo on the arm, the other had a toad tattoo on the arm.
“Are you Wang Yao?” asked one of the young men rudely.
“Yes, I am,” said Wang Yao calmly.
“Good, are you available now?” asked one of the young men.
“What is it for?” asked Wang Yao.
“We want to buy you a drink,” said the other one.
“Sorry, I’m not available,” said Wang Yao.
“That’s fine. See you later.” The two young men took a closer look at Wang Yao, then went off.
They just want to make sure Wang Yao lived in this village. Now they had achieved the purpose of their visit.
“Wait, who asked you guys to come here?” Wang Yao stopped the two young men.
“Well, you’ll know soon,” said the bald young man.
Wang Yao smiled. He walked the two young men to the end of the lane with an umbrella.
“Hey, bro, you don’t need to come with us,” said the two young men with a smile. Is he stupid? Doesn’t he have any idea he is going to be in big trouble?
Their vehicle was parked at the entrance of the village.
As soon as they got into the vehicle, they heard a pop! It seemed that the tires were broken.
“What’s going on?” The two young men got out of the car and saw a nail in the tire. The nail was in the side of the tire.
Clearly, someone put the nail into the tire deliberately.
“Who did it?!” said one of the young men furiously.
“Who did it?” he repeated.
He looked around, but only saw a pig and a duck staring at him. Then he saw Wang Yao, who was around three meters away from his vehicle.
The two young men stood in the rain, like idiots.
In fact, Wang Yao threw the nail into their tire. He just threw the nail casually, and the nail went straight into the tire.
Since the two men came to look for trouble, Wang Yao wouldn’t let them go easily. He was easygoing, but not that easygoing.
“Damn it, bad luck!” said the bald young man.
Since one of the tires was broken, they had to change tires. It was still raining.
Wang Yao looked up at the sky.
The rain will get heavier.
The weather seemed to mirror Wang Yao’s thoughts, it started to rain heavily in no time.
Thank you for the rain, thought Wang Yao.
He looked at the two young men changing the tire under the umbrella.
“Hey, you guys will get sick if you stay in the rain for too long,” said Wang Yao.
“Hey, you, cover us with your umbrella!” one of the young men shouted at Wang Yao after wiping the rain off his face.
They were already drenched by the suddenly heavy rain that came in a short period of time. They were in a bad mood already, now they became more furious. Coincidentally, Wang Yao was next to them.
“Haha,” laughed Wang Yao.
He still stood under his umbrella.
“Hey, are you looking for a fight?” shouted the bald young man.
The other young man ran towards Wang Yao directly with the lug wrench. Clearly, he was going to give Wang Yao a lesson, as Wang Yao didn’t respond to their request.
“How dare you! Making trouble here!” said Wang Yao.
“What?” shouted the young man running towards Wang Yao.
Bang! The young man felt he was hit with enormous strength before he was even close to Wang Yao, and he flew back and hit his vehicle. After he fell onto the ground, his started to feel sharp pain in his belly, as if his organs were squashed together.
“Ahhh!” The man was moaning in the rain. His friend was in shock.
“What is going on?” asked the bald young man.
“Who asked you to come here?” Wang Yao asked the question again.
“Damn you!” The bald young man took a knife out.
Bang! He also hit his vehicle, just like his friend. A dent appeared on the side of the vehicle.
“Do I have to ask the same question again?” asked Wang Yao.
“No, no, we’ll tell you,” said the bald young man.
They were just hooligans, who could manage a small fight, but they got scared as soon as they came across a tough person. Wang Yao’s smiling face and his strength, which beyond their comprehension, really shocked them. For them, Wang Yao was like a smiling tiger; whatever hiding under that smile could kill them.
“It is Zhao Sen who asked us to look for you,” said the bald young man. However, Wang Yao had no clue who this was.
“Where is he?” asked Wang Yao.
“Haiqu,” said the bald young man.
“Haiqu?” asked Wang Yao.
He frowned. He had no impression of any encounters with a person called Zhao Sen.
“Why did he ask you guys to look for me?” asked Wang Yao.
“I don’t know,” said the bald young man.
“Is that your final answer?” said Wang Yao.
He picked up a stone on the road randomly and crushed it into pieces.
The two young men stared at Wang Yao and forgot about their pain temporarily.
