"Hahaha!" Seeing that Diane Huang wasn't pleased anymore, Zack Lee chuckled playfully. "Diane, are you making a bet in front of Miss Yang?" Still amused, Zack Lee twisted Diane Huang's words which made her lips curled into a sneer.

"What if I am?" When Diane Huang replied, Lexi cast her a quick side glance.

Lexi didn't know if she should be insulted or treat this as a fun little game. How could Zack Lee think that he would get his way under her pants knowing this bet? And why does Diane Huang sounded she was in?

Even if Lexi didn't know this bet, she would reject him in a heartbeat. Well, it's not his fault though as Zack Lee was more or less had the same aura when she first encounter Ethan Lu.

"Just go with the flow — make some cash." Leaning closer to Lexi. Benjamin Shao whispered, which made her brows knit.

Turning to Benjamin Shao, Lexi only saw him wink as he smiled. "I'll place my stake that she will rejected, mercilessly." After giving Lexi the tip, Benjamin Shao chimed in, fanning some flames into this interesting game.

"Hah, Mr. Shao!" Zack laughed, almost sounded as an insulted scoff as he peered at Benjamin Shao in disdain. "How much?" Yet, Zack Lee took it as a challenge.

"Five million." Without batting an eye, Benjamin Shao gave him tempting digits. Upon hearing that tempting bet, not just the men around their circle, but also the bystander that could hear them were in uproar.

"Count me in, my bet is also five million — that's ten million in total. If you take Lexi home tonight in her own volition, ten million is yours. How's that?" Sharing the same confidence as Benjamin Shao, Diane Huang enticed.

Inside Benjamin and Diane's mind, they wouldn't stake this much money against Zack Lee. Especially if what they were betting was if he could take the lady or not.

Even if they were in the same situation with another woman involved, the two wouldn't take the risk. After all, there was something in Zack Lee that women loved and fall for him instantly.

Of course, Lexi could hear some of their comments which caused her under eye to twitch. These people... were they serious?

Lexi could not believe that there were people rooting for Zack — believing that he could take her home tonight like a thirsty gold digger... No, more than that, she could not believe that she was being treated as some kind of entertainment.

Regardless, Lexi was tempted to place her bets too as she wanted to earn some cash tonight. They were talking about millions, after all.

"But remember, if you lose, you have to give me and Brother Min five million each. Deal?" Crossing her arms, Diane Huang smirk as she taunted Zack Lee.

Her countenance was telling the other party that if he refused, Diane Huang was ready to bully him. And if he accepted...

"Ten million? Why don't we raise our bets and make it twenty million each?" Confident, Zack Lee shifted his attention to Lexi, who seemed contemplating about something. "If I lose, I'll shell out forty, but if I win, you give us forty million... each. Miss Yang need to gain something too, you know?" Zack Lee beamed Lexi a smile.

Upon hearing his raise, everyone was in awe. Even Lexi was surprised by his proposal. He sounded as if shelling out twenty million was nothing.

Lexi was certain she would reject him — maybe Zack Lee knew that as well. Hence, he quickly thought of a strategy that could give him a higher chance of winning.

That was tempting Lexi with a higher bid. If Zack Lee won, Lexi would also gain the same amount as him. But if he loses, he'll only lose his forty million and Lexi wouldn't lose anything.

If anything, Lexi would only let those easy twenty million slip from her hands. As a businesswoman, of course, it tempted Lexi.

"However, forty million is too small for businessmen like you guys — don't you think, Mr. Lee?" Despite the attention Ethan Lu gathered, his eyes were only at the surprised Lexi.

'She's tempted... tsk tsk, my wife... my bad bad wife...' Sizing Lexi up, Ethan Lu could tell in a glance that his mischievous wife was tempted with the offer.

He could not blame her though. Lexi was an independent businesswoman and her wealth were all because of her own hard work. It might be hard for him to admit, but Ethan Lu's contribution in Beauty DR's success was only moral support.

"Mr. Lu!" When everyone processed the overwhelming presence of Ethan Lu, men in the circle exclaimed in surprise.

No one noticed his arrival since everyone's attention was all in this betting. Therefore, they were surprised.

"This will be more interesting and challenging if there's competition. How about this? Whoever choose the stunning Miss Yang tonight will be the winner?" As Ethan Lu darted his gaze to each and everyone in the circle, he proposed.

"However, let's stake our companies and positions. I'll bet the Lu Corporation — all my shares." Without a second hesitation, Ethan Lu added, which made everyone widen their eyes in disbelief.
