Chapter 574: Reappearance of the Huge Blue Dragon
Edited by Aelryinth
Due to the time difference, the sky had just turned bright when Zhang Che arrived in the Bei Mei region.
He followed the traffic and walked out of the San Diego Airport slowly. He didn’t go to the beast world right away. Instead, he walked a few miles around the streets, and silently transformed into an ordinary-looking Caucasian man in the end. After making sure his identity wouldn’t be exposed, he flagged down a taxi casually and went out of the city area.
Zhang Che had no intention of finding the three women he got acquainted with back then. He wasn’t afraid of getting eaten alive by them, but he was worried that he might expose himself.
Zhang Che had more enemies than before in the Bei Mei region. Those demons in hiding might be paying attention to him, and perhaps they might even have gotten close to those three women. Once he showed himself, even if he did so with Sun Che’s appearance, he might draw their suspicion.
Since that was so, it was better to not meet them.
In any case, he didn’t intend to do anything with them….
——
Zhang Che couldn’t help but feel a surge of emotions when he entered the beast world in the suburbs of San Diego and saw the lively safety zone, as well as the strange, yet familiar environment.
Back when he first arrived in this beast world, he was extra cautious, afraid of being noticed by those powerful exotic beasts and losing his life.
Even when he came here the second time to hunt the Earthen Rock Demon, he didn’t dare act recklessly. It was like stepping on thin ice for him.
Everything was different now.
Right now, as long as his luck wasn’t so bad that he encountered a divine-quality exotic beast, Zhang Che didn’t have to worry about his life being in danger.
As for exotic beasts below divine-quality, he was very welcoming of them! It was like gifting him pets and subdued beasts. It simply couldn’t get any better!
Just as Zhang Che was reminiscing about the past, a black man came up to him with a smile and whispered, “Hi, brother, we’re going to hunt a six-star gold-quality boss, and are lacking a few people. Are you interested in coming with us? Don’t worry, you’ll be compensated properly!”
Zhang Che turned his head and cast a glance at him evenly, then shook his head and slowly walked in the direction from his memories.
He had perceived many things from that black man’s seemingly simple and honest smile. Although he seemed innocent and harmless, there was a hint of unconcealable greed and ill intent deep in his eyes.

From the looks of it, that fellow was pretending to be gathering teammates, and was actually looking for unfamiliar beastmasters to set up.
If someone wasn’t cautious and trusted his words, they might not see the boss in the end, or even the sun of tomorrow.
Of course, given Zhang Che’s strength, even if that man had thousands of tricks, he wouldn’t be able to hurt him at all. Zhang Che didn’t want to waste his time on such trivial matters, however.
Seeing Zhang Che leaving expressionlessly, that man didn’t continue pestering him.
They were at the safety zone, after all. It would be bad if he tried too hard and drew Zhang Che’s displeasure as a result, attracting the enforcement personnel.
Even if this fish didn’t bite the hook, there were thousands more fish behind him. There was no need to waste his time here…
——
When he was a hundred kilometers away from the safety zone, Zhang Che surveyed his surroundings carefully. After making sure there was almost no one around him, he summoned out the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon with a wave of his hand, then quickly flew in the direction he remembered those dinosaurs gathered in.
Not satisfied with that, he even had Hanming gather the nearby vapor to form a thin layer of fog around them to hide the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon’s iconic blue figure.
Being in a foreign country, Zhang Che had to be cautious.
Although he was pretty much alone, who knew if any beastmasters would notice the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon from below while he flew to his destination? He couldn’t possibly silence every witness he came across on his way, right?
He wasn’t that bloodthirsty, nor did he want to waste his time doing that.
“Given Hanming’s flight speed, even if we continue at cruising speed, we can fly at close to fifteen hundred kilometers per hour at the very least. Calculating things this way, I’ll need six hours at the most to reach my destination!”
Zhang Che estimated the distance to that deep area in this beast world carefully. He was surprised to realize that he had spent close to half a month’s time when he first tried returning from that area. Although it wasn’t like he was rushing back all the time, it went to show how slow he was traveling. Now that he possessed strength that allowed him to ignore everything below divine-quality, in addition to the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon’s huge increase in speed, their efficiency when traveling was truly shocking!
He could make a round trip in just one day!
Calculating things that way, if his hunt in that area in the depths of the beast world went successfully, perhaps he’d only need a few days to obtain a suitable beast card armor! With that, he would be able to return to Hua Xia in about a week!

While Zhang Che was lamenting, he failed to notice that in the skies less than a thousand meters away, a falcon-like flying exotic beast had looked his way a few times.
Due to the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon being too fast, in addition to that falcon-like exotic beast being too weak, Zhang Che didn’t notice it at all.
On the ground a few thousand meters away, in a mountain forest with complicated terrain, a hint of extreme surprise suddenly shone in the eyes of a skinny white man, his hair blond and dried, like a bamboo pole.
A short moment later, at his thought, that falcon-like beast in the sky quickly dove down and landed on a big tree in front of him.
The white man stared at the falcon with his slightly protruding eyes, and asked seriously in anticipation, his voice slightly shaking, “Good boy, are you sure you saw correctly that it was a blue oriental dragon?”
The falcon nodded in response, its sharp eyes filled with certainty.
Falcons had eyesight far surpassing that of other exotic beasts. The Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon was less than a thousand meters away when he flew past it. Even though there was a thin layer of fog around him, that couldn’t block its sight.
“Ha, that’s great! Wohohohahahahahohohehe…” The man suddenly jumped off the ground, laughing maniacally. His body was shaking violently with excitement.
“This is perfect. I didn’t expect the bounty target I saw casually in the past would actually appear here! God really wants me to get rich!”
After a few excited words, the man didn’t delay any longer and had his falcon-like subdued beast confirm the direction the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon was going, then quickly summoned a purplish black bat with a wingspan of over three meters out with a wave of his hand. He jumped onto its back, flying in the direction of the safety zone.
He felt like his life was about to hit its peak soon!
——
In a large secret military base in the suburbs of San Diego, General Mihill sat lazily on his office chair, his legs spread open. A blonde head was between his legs, moving back and forth.
General Mihill squinted slightly, showing a look of pleasure.
After a while, he pressed his hand on the blonde’s head, signalling her to stop.
The owner of the blond hair looked up at General Mihill charmingly, and slowly stood up. She turned around, laying her curvy figure on the office table, showing a pair of round peaks in front of him.
He licked his lips, then suddenly stood up and grabbed the two round mounds.
Feeling General Mihill placing his hands on her hips, the blonde turned her head around, showing a look of anticipation.
At that moment, hurried knocks came from outside the office.
“WTF!” General Mihill stopped what he was doing, cursing furiously. He patted the blonde’s proud hips in disappointment, signalling her to go to the side and put on her clothes, while he tidied his pants and sat back in his office chair, only then telling the person outside to come in.
A middle-aged major pushed the door open and came in expressionlessly to report, “General, an urgent report came,” he said, and fell silent.
General Mihill nodded, then signalled the blonde at the side, who was still untidily dressed, to get out first.
Although the woman was unhappy she wasn’t able to quench the fire inside her, she didn’t dare to show any displeasure, and could only move her long legs obediently, walking out quickly.
When the office door was closed, the major continued seriously, reporting, “General, someone took the bounty we set up previously. A beastmaster said he saw that blue oriental dragon in the skies a thousand kilometers west in the beast world southwest of San Diego.”
“What!? Is that true?!” General Mihill’s eyes went wide, immediately standing up from his chair. He stood up so fast that a breeze blew inside the office, blowing away a stack of paper on his table.
Seeing this, a thought flashed through the mind of the middle-aged major. -The general might be a little too loose with women, but his strength didn’t deteriorate at all! Incredible!-
Although the middle-aged major had the thought, he didn’t dare show it on his face. At General Mihill’s question, he continued reporting the matter respectfully.
After confirming that the beastmaster who took the bounty wasn’t lying, an excited look finally showed on General Mihill’s face. A faint smile curled up at the corners of his lips as he muttered coldly, “Is this really the will of God? We might not be able to do anything to you if you stayed in Hua Xia obediently, but you had to come to my territory, of all places!”
Immediately, General Mihill gave a series of orders.
Soon, some powerful beastmasters in the large secret military base were mobilized, gearing up and heading to the spatial gateway southwest of San Diego.
Not only that, General Mihill wasn’t assured with just his base’s forces. He picked up his phone and used his connections to contact more experts.
He had decided that since God had given him this chance, he definitely couldn’t let it go!
