Chapter 362: A Bunch of Unexpected Intruders
Translator: Exodus Tales Editor: Exodus Tales
Edited by Aelryinth
Without a doubt, the bunch of Nirvana Snakes were probably the objective of everyone who came here… the storage-type exotic beasts!
Not only that, if Zhang Che’s guess was right, this was an extremely rare type of storage-type exotic beast, because they had an attacking skill!
Zhang Che’s Purple Crystal Tortoise, although it had an attacking skill, was a proper Original Combat Body-type subdued beast, and not a beast that could only be used as storage equipment. There was a fundamental difference between the two.
Zhang Che had seen two species of storage-type beast cards.
One of was naturally the storage bracelet Huang Juyun gave him. The other type was the Meso Worm he looted from the black guy in the secret plane.
The two were both purely storage equipment, with only a function of storing items.
However, the Nirvana Snakes Zhang Che was facing right now were definitely different. Even if they were an equipment-type storage beasts, they had a decent attacking skill. It truly was an extremely rare species.
It was no wonder Black Locust Tree Hall’s men wanted to take this mountain range for themselves in the beginning.
Alas, they didn’t manage to capture the beastmaster who got away. Otherwise, Zhang Che wouldn’t have had the chance to meet such unusual exotic beasts!
“The skill lasts a minute. Once I get through this, I’ll be able to launch a counterattack against these Nirvana Snakes without fear!”
Zhang Che and the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon flew in circles around the mountain range, trying their best to avoid the pursuit of the two balls of darkness, while counting down inside.
He didn’t know exactly how powerful the combined Nirvana of Nothingness from those ordinary Nirvana Snakes were, but the Nirvana of Nothingness from that Nirvana Snake King was simply terrifying, based on the attributes he saw earlier.
To be able to tear everything drawn into the ball of light to pieces… did that include the bodies of those impossibly strong exotic beasts?
Zhang Che thought for a while, and he felt that this possibility was very likely.

After all, this was an attack that borrowed the power of Nirvana space. Other than exotic beasts of the spatial-attribute, perhaps nothing could withstand it!
Of course, the speed of the Nirvana of Nothingness was limited. The truly powerful exotic beasts could totally avoid it, which was the tactic Zhang Che was currently using. He would immediately launch a fierce counterattack after the skill ended.
Perhaps epic-quality and above exotic beasts didn’t even have to dodge such an attack intentionally. They might be able to depend on their terrifying strength and their False Domain to kill the Nirvana Snake King with a single attack, ending the problem by the most basic method.
Regrettably, Zhang Che didn’t have the strength of a Tier Six beastmaster. Otherwise, he could summon the Earthen Rock Demon and let the snake try ripping THAT to pieces!
With a body that stood several dozens meters tall, just that face basin-sized ball of light wouldn’t be able to rip much of it apart in sixty seconds, even if the Earthen Rock Demon stood there unmoving.
Sometimes, having a large frame was very useful!
“In the end, I’m still limited by my Tier Five beastmaster rank. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be suffering here!”
While directing the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon to dodge the attacks, Zhang Che swore to himself that he wouldn’t return to Mercury before he rose to Tier Six, no matter what!
The Nirvana of Nothingness gradually picked up speed. Zhang Che realized that it was becoming impossible to avoid it.
In his panic, he suddenly had an idea. Zhang Che summoned the Purple Crystal Tortoise and had it spit out a few pieces of exotic beast meat and threw it behind him.
Afterwards, he finally witnessed the terrifying strength of the Nirvana of Nothingness.
After the exotic beast meat was thrown out, they instantly became like iron filings attracted to a strong magnet, accelerating towards the two black balls of light. Afterwards, they were silently torn into tiny bits that the naked eye couldn’t distinguish in Zhang Che’s sight, scattering in all directions.
After that short interruption, the two black spheres suddenly paused for a moment.
Zhang Che’s eyes lit up. Seeing this idea was working, he ignored the pain of losing the exotic beast meat and kept throwing piece after piece out behind him, finally slowing down the two Nirvanas of Nothingness, preventing them from catching up to him.

During all this, the Nirvana Snake King tried to control the two dark spheres to circle around the pieces of exotic beast meat Zhang Che threw out, directly aiming for him and the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon.
Alas, both of Zhang Che’s hands were moving simultaneously, tossing a wide spread of exotic beast meat, and the two balls of light had no way of avoiding them. Their advance could only be passively hindered by those pieces of meat.
A minute was fast, and it would pass by before you knew it. It was also slow, definitely longer than just a few moments.
Zhang Che felt like this particular minute went by as slowly as a century. Flying on the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon’s back, he circled in the skies above the mountain range for gods-knew-how-far, before he finally saw the two black globes bursting like bubbles a short distance behind them, disappearing without a trace.
“Good, now it’s my turn to torture you!”
Zhang Che finally got his break. He summoned the Scarlet Flame Drake with a wave of his hand. The Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon quickly turned around and flew towards the Nirvana Snake King aggressively.
Seeing its attack had failed to catch up to Zhang Che, the Nirvana Snake King’s body suddenly jumped in the air and quickly changed directions, speeding off towards the depths of the Five Poisons Mountain Range.
Even though they were a few hundred meters apart, Zhang Che could hear the sharp whistling noise the Nirvana Snake King produced when flying.
Ugh, this exotic beast that had a “jet engine” installed, its speed was truly in a league of its own!
As for the those Nirvana Snakes that numbered close to a hundred, seeing their leader was making a run for it, they immediately went into a panic and scattered in all directions.
Zhang Che cursed inwardly. He knew it was now impossible to catch them all in one fell swoop, and could only choose to pursue the Nirvana Snake King. As long as he successfully took down that fellow, this trip today wouldn’t be a waste.
The Nirvana Snake King was also aware that it would surely meet a miserable end if Zhang Che caught up to it. It aroused its innate attribute desperately, operating its “jet engine” to the extreme, producing an unending sharp screech.
Zhang Che quickly realized that he wouldn’t be able to catch up to it anytime soon!
Not only that, the Nirvana Snake King was too small, and extremely nimble. Even if the Purple Crystal Tortoise shot its bone spikes, it might not hit it accurately.
“If I can’t catch up to it soon, once that fellow’s skill cools down in half an hour, won’t I be the one running again?”
Thinking of that, Zhang Che nearly broke down.
Wouldn’t this become an unending cycle then? He’d be the one chasing for a while, then it chasing him. It wasn’t like they were a young couple teasing one another!
“Come on, bring out your potential! I won’t give it a rest unless we catch that snake today!”
Zhang Che slapped the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon’s back, demanding it to bring out his speed.
Although he never tried it before, Zhang Che guessed that this fellow should be able to go into SEED mode for a while, right? {TLN: Gundam reference.}
It didn’t need to last long, just for them to catch up to the Nirvana Snake King.
In the end, before the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon could go into SEED mode, Zhang Che nearly exploded!
He suddenly discovered two teams of beastmasters about a dozen kilometers away had noticed the commotion on this side, and they were quickly closing in on their flying beasts.
-I hope you’re only here to watch the spectacle. If you think of snatching beast from me, don’t blame me for disregarding the fact that we’re of the same ethnicity and having you people remain in this mountain range forever!- Zhang Che, who was already bottling up a stomach full of anger, cursed inside with gritted teeth, his eyes red.

The Breath of Creation [DROPPED]
General Summary: Sometimes, the multiverse needs expanding. That's where I come in. But, unfortunately, being a deity isn't all fun and games (and is incredibly complicated), as there are always things working against you. Not even the God of the Multiverses can change that. Another Summary: Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the known universe(s), and were given a grace period in which they would experience a relatively safe expansion of their domains. Once that period is up, however, they are free to interact with each other...and what lurks in the depths of the Abyss, the Void, and the Primordial Chaos. I am one of those souls. And let me tell you, this shit ain't easy. Between trying to raise mortals into an immortal army, with which I can defend my domain, dealing with my children, and trying to maintain the balance between all realms of existance, I have my work cut out for me. Sigh. Now I know why, back on Earth, gods worked in mysterious, invisible ways. There's just too much to be done. Formerly called RE: Deity

The Twin Lands
Join our heroine Enru on her journey in a world where humanity lives in perpetual light and warm while their enemies, the spider beings called Araxin, live in perpetual darkness and cold. Just because they live in the darkness and cold though doesn’t mean the Araxin want to stay there forever however, and this time their bid for the Southern half of the continent looks to be shaping up worse for humanity than ever before. Every ten years the planet nears its second sun in such a way that the Northern half of the continent warms and thaws and the Araxin enter a period of explosive growth, before always attempting to assault the humans in the South. Through events that you will need to read and discover yourself, sixteen year old Enru ends up vital to the survival of humanity, but can she succeed? In a world full of humans, dragons, giant intelligent spiders, trogs, behemoths lurking in the deep, magic, politics (can’t forget the politics) and more, what wonders await you? NOTE: This is my very first attempt at writing ever. Not just my first attempt I am showing people or my first attempt that went anywhere, but my first of any kind. I welcome constructive critisism and I know my grammar is not always the best. If something is majorly bothering you please leave a good comment or review on it rather than just a 0.5 rating and saying I suck. NOTE2: The main character will be gaining power that is, if used correctly, well above the standard for her race however I plan to implement it in such a way that she does not end up being crazy over powered and able to end every fight at her whim. She will struggle, she will lose sometimes and there will be loss along her journey to save her race. There will be no harem and I am unsure if there will be any sex scenes or even romance as this is my first story and I am not confident yet at being able to write that properly. So if you came here for the standard royalroad super OP guy that flies around having sex with every female character he meets, this is not that. Update Frequency: As this is my first story and I am still in the early stages, I cannot say how often updates will be. I lead a very busy life and this is a new way for me to relieve stress. I hope to be able to put out a few thousand words every few days at the least. Enjoy the story! PS. Cover was found on the website thedailybell.com, they did not source where they found it. I rotated and resized the image.
