Chapter 338: Fight Between Two Fierce Beasts. Time to Withdraw in Victory
Translator: Exodus Tales Editor: Exodus Tales
Edited by Aelryinth
Late at night, in Japan…
When Miyazaki Takehara heard the news from Bei Mei region, he directly jumped out of his bed.
“Damn it, what exactly is going on here!?”
Within the short duration of an hour, the powers of the Miyazaki Clan at a few important cities at the west coast of Bei Mei region were attacked by a powerful faction at the same time, incurring heavy casualties.
As for the assets and whatnot, the Miyazaki Clan actually didn’t really care much about them.
What’s most important was that they were slapped in the face, hard!
Miyazaki Takehara couldn’t care less that it was now late into the night. He hurriedly put on his clothing and rushed to the clan’s headquarters. At the same time, he informed all the top executives of the clan to come to the headquarters conference room for a meeting.
Soon, through contact with the fortunate survivors at the Bei Mei site, the Miyazaki Clan’s top brass finally understood what had happened.
“What? They’re saying Masaki stole their company’s important information and is demanding for us to return it, or they’ll never let the matter rest?”
This was a blatant set up!
Didn’t Masaki go into the beast world with a few juniors for training? How could he possibly appear in Bei Mei region, not to mention stealing their bullshit important information?
The Miyazaki Clan’s top executives then remembered the three assassinations on their members yesterday. The assassins were all of western descent. So, the situation was clear as day; it must be that some powerful faction in Bei Mei region had set their eyes on their clan, and wanted to…
When their discussions reached this point, all their faces suddenly changed at the same time.
Could it be that news of their clan conducting research on exotic beast genetic reinforcement fluid in secret had been leaked, and the West was eyeing it?
The expressions of the Miyazaki Clan’s top executives became unusually grave.

Miyazaki Takehara’s face sank. He said unflinchingly, “Everyone, this is war! I hope to see everyone working together as one to help our Miyazaki Clan get through this crisis. I’m counting on you!”
Done speaking, he suddenly bent his waist ninety degrees, bowing deeply to those present.
“Hai! Please rest assured, Clan Patriarch, we swear to live and die with the clan!”
Everyone stood up one after another, bowing in Miyazaki Takehara’s direction.
No one had any idea that a certain someone’s petty maneuver would be the cause of the two super factions engaging in a long-lasting great battle that would shock the world.
After the curtains closed on that war, the two factions were greatly weakened, and were reduced to third-rate factions, thoroughly withdrawing from the stage of the largest factions in Mercury.
Not only that, in that great war, the truth of both parties engaging in human experimentation to produce exotic beast evolution medicine was exposed to the world. This immediately led to them becoming the butt of public criticism. In the end, they were left with no choice but to issue a public apology to the world, and those in charge were severely punished.
Even after the matter had calmed, no one realized how strange the cause of the great battle was.
Perhaps by the time both parties realized something was not right about all this, they were already too deeply committed to the fight. Who would care about the strangeness of the initial cause of the incident?
Even Zhang Che, the cause behind all this, didn’t expect the matter to develop to such a state.
—–
After he escaped from the base, he hid in San Diego, carefully watching over how this matter played out.
-Hmm, I’ve already ignited the fuse for you guys. I hope both parties will perform a good show for me. At the very least, the Miyazaki Clan shouldn’t continue to hound me, right?,- Zhang Che thought to himself while paying attention to the development of this matter in the dark.
Afterwards, he even went to observe some of the Miyazaki Clan’s powers in San Diego in secret. The results shocked him, and left him feeling gratified.

Zhang Che’s guess was on the spot. The Miyazaki Clan’s assets in San Diego were soon assaulted in revenge by the faction behind that pharmaceutical company. The two parties directly broke out in an intense battle in the city, as well as in the suburbs.
As such, Zhang Che was thoroughly assured. With this, the Miyazaki Clan surely wouldn’t send people to Hua Xia to find trouble with him any more.
Well, for a pretty long time, at least. The Miyazaki Clan shouldn’t have the time to care about anything else.
Unbeknownst to him, not only would the Miyazaki Clan not have the energy to care about that little matter of his for a period of time, no one would ever mention that matter in the future.
After all, compared to the survival of the clan, what did a mere Chinese brat who challenged their clan’s dignity count for?
Moreover, after the great battle with that mysterious faction in the Bei Mei region, the Miyazaki Clan directly fell from a top-rate faction in Japan to a second-rate faction. After that, they would consider themselves lucky if their enemies didn’t come looking for them. Why would they care about other matters?
——
Zhang Che stayed in San Diego for another day. When he saw that both parties had really committed to the fight, confirming that the Miyazaki Clan wouldn’t go find trouble with him in Hua Xia anymore, he rang up his mother and Huang Tielan, telling them that he had some matters going on and had to be in the beast world for some time, and that they didn’t have to worry about him.
That night, he booked a room in San Diego’s best hotel and slept comfortably for a night. He dreamt of the Miyazaki Clan’s patriarch, Miyazaki Takehara, kneeling before him, pleading Zhang Che to let his clan off, and expressing that they were willing to offer the prettiest woman in their clan to him, only hoping he would let the matter rest.
In his dream, Zhang Che rejected their tempting offer justly, then whipped out the Scarlet Meteorite Huge Sword and smashed Miyazaki Takehara with the flat of the sword, directly flattening him into a meat patty.
What came after was a little blurry. Zhang Che couldn’t remember what happened when he woke up. He only had vague recollections that he seemed to be surrounded by a bunch of beautiful women in the end.
-Hmm? Why are Aoi-sensei, Ozawa-sensei, Hatano-sensei, and Uehara-sensei among the group of girls from Miyazaki Clan?
-How strange!-
Shaking his head, Zhang Che got up from bed. He went to take a bath and change out his clothing, and walked out refreshed. After a simple breakfast at the restaurant, he checked out from his room.
He no longer paid attention to the conflict between the Miyazaki Clan and the faction behind the pharmaceutical company. In any case, the two parties wouldn’t come to a truce in the near future. He could totally rest assured and go take care of his own matters.
Walking out of the hotel lobby, Zhang Che flagged down a taxi and went to the suburb of San Diego. Afterwards, he Summoned out the Purple Jade Condor and mounted it, flying to the spatial gateway he had emerged from last time.
Zhang Che could not summon the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon. After all, that fellow was seen by those from the secret base when he stole the Unicorn. The dragon couldn’t appear in the Bei Mei region.
As for when he returned to Hua Xia in the future, Zhang Che couldn’t care less.
When he wasn’t in the beast world, he had no need to summon the Darkfiend Abyssal Dragon anyway. The chances of people taking notice of it was very slim.
Moreover, when he entered the beast world, if he wasn’t with others, Zhang Che would subconsciously change his appearance. It wouldn’t matter too much, even if others took notice.
He’d just let them go find someone called Sun Che. He had no relation to that fellow, anyway.
Hehe!…
