Chapter 1785: Laughing at Other’s Misfortunes
Translator: Exodus Tales Editor: Exodus Tales
Killing a healer wasn’t enough to change the battle situation. However, it had a greater impact than killing a damage dealer.
The majority of healers were in charge of their own little team. If the healer died, then there was no one to maintain the HP of their team. Damage dealers would then be more likely to be eliminated amidst the waves of skills.
Lu Li and Wood Fearing very quickly met Glory Capital’s retaliation with Blood Dagger leading it.
They were the best of the best among the Thieves, if they bumped into each other and didn’t battle it out, it wouldn’t sit right with any of them.
“Fight me one-on-one if you dare!” Lu Li declared, as he takes the first step in avoiding the incoming wave of opponents.
“If you have the guts then don’t run! I’ll fight you one-on-one!” Blood Dagger grunted.
As if! Lu Li didn’t believe that Blood Dagger would fight him one-on-one. Even if Blood Dagger did agree to it, he wouldn’t agree to this type of stupid battle.
Until the city wall has been broken, both sides of the attack and defence were based on long-range classes. Close combat could only play its role when the city was broken.
No matter if it were above the city walls or below the city walls, they were all within the area that skills could reach. Only war chariots that could run far could have the chance of getting away from the skills’ reach.
So, in the beginning stages, all the long-distance classes were having a hard battle.
In addition to inflicting damage on the enemy, the attacking side also needed to wear down the durability of the city wall.
White lights kept flashing without fail on the battlefield. From time to time, people who died would rush and join the battle again from the resurrection point. In fact, in addition to weakening the enemy’s strength, this kind of death would not cause equipment loss because the place where everyone died was beside their own people, if the equipment was dropped then someone would pick it up for them.

However, Lu Li and Wood Fearing disrupted this idea. The two of them would wander about the outer circle of the Glory Capital players. If they saw someone drop their equipment, then they would throw themselves towards it and grab it like hungry wolves.
The people of Glory Capital gritted their teeth with hatred but had no way of stopping them. This was a quest only thieves could accomplish.
As the attacking side, Blood Dagger couldn’t do the same because they were underneath the wall. If he jumped onto the wall, this was no different to a one-way street to death.
Lu Li had also paid a price for picking up a few pieces of equipment. He was controlled by Blood Dagger, then a group of people gathered to kill him, which made him drop a piece of equipment.
Luckily, he had back up so he could continue fighting after putting it back on.
Compared to those he found, the ones that he dropped didn’t matter that much. In fact, everyone’s equipment was about the same. Elites of large-scale clubs would be embarrassed if they didn’t carry at least some Epic equipment.
The players that Lu Li interacted with in his past life were all of the lower-end, if they had a piece of Epic equipment on them it was something worth showing off. Only walking into this circle did he know that the things that ordinary people found hard to come by were something commonly seen by high levelled players already.
The earlier stages of stronghold battles were boring; the true battle only began when the city walls were broken.
Once the city wall had been bashed open, Glory Capital rushed in while the people of Ruling Sword fought with their lives to stop them.
Such a narrow battlefield caused more casualties in a shorter period of time than the previous fighting did. Everyone was beginning to lose their equipment, but everyone had learned from previous battles. Even if they didn’t bring spare weapons, they would still carry a bag filled with stuff, so there wasn’t a high probability of dropping equipment.

People with experience already knew from the equipment’s colour to determine what equipment it was and of what level.
At a time like this, long-distance damage dealers were naturally important, but close combat players began to play a more powerful role that long-distance players couldn’t. The close combat classes of both sides, from Thieves to Warriors fiercely collided.
Skills were thrown towards opponents haphazardly.
Sorrowless and Lu Li had both become each other’s main target. Their combat power was astounding. They had also shouldered the role of temporary commander, plus their equipment was better too.
When he was killed again, Lu Li charged to the front lines from the revival point. Luckily, none of the important equipment was dropped, the only thing that dropped was a piece of back up equipment.
He was a bit annoyed. As he stared at Sorrowless, he stared back at him. He was so close to killing Sorrowless off when Sorrowless unexpectedly threw a critical hit. And it was a three times critical hit too which killed him straight away.
Sorrowless who was low on HP did not escape death either. The only thing now was wondering which bastard would benefit from the equipment that he will drop.
As Lu Li joined back with the team, Lu Li hurriedly asked the team channel to see what Lu Li dropped.
Sorrowless was someone with more Epic equipment on him than Lu Li. If he had picked up an equipment, it would be such a bargain.
“Hehe, look what I got.” Unforgettable Maple waved the dropped weapon in his hands as he said in triumph.
Lu Li’s mood dropped instantly. The really important equipment that Sorrowless dropped was meant to be something to be happy about, but the one who picked it up was Unforgettable Maple. Plus, he didn’t belong to Ruling Sword. So, to ask someone like him to hand over the equipment was essentially daydreaming!
How could Lu Li be happy? If Sorrowless hadn’t dropped equipment, then the next drop could’ve been really good. Now that it was Epic equipment that was dropped, he had no idea what the next drop would be.
Lu Li didn’t believe that Sorrowless’s back up staff was also Epic.
Unforgettable Maple was still pleased with himself and immediately became an object of target. He was too late to react, and he died on the spot. The battle situation was so fierce. Everyone’s health potions were nearly used up.
“Far out! My clothes! My clothes dropped! Who picked it up?” Unforgettable Maple yelled after his revival.
Lu Li looked at his equipment and his heart sank. It wasn’t his Epic dagger that dropped, but his Felstriker dropped.
Lu Li also started yelling in the team channel, “Did anyone pick up my weapon? Has anyone picked up my weapon?”
There were two bosses, one was asking about clothes, the other about their weapon.
The only difference was that Unforgettable Maple had worse luck. He did pick up Sorrowless’s weapon, but this time all of his dropped clothes were taken by Glory capital, while Lu Li’s weapon was brought back by the players of Ruling Sword.
“Morals. Sister Maple, isn’t it indecent of you to not wear clothes? Ahaha!” Lu LI couldn’t help but laugh at his misfortune, even if he was an ally he still couldn’t help it.

The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
