There was no such thing as an unpopular Air Drop. Soon, there was a car flying right across from Lu Li and Water Fairy, heading straight for it.

Some people thought the chances of survival were higher if you went directly to the Air Drop to loot it, and then left quickly. Cautious people might only loot it if there was virtually no risk of danger. The two people who were sitting in the car were apparently the former. Lu Li generously loaded the gun with 40 bullets and used them all on the approaching car. With Water Fairy using her M416, this was the first time the couple attacked together. They directly killed one of the people in the car. Then, the car abruptly stopped, and the remaining person hid behind it to use a first aid kit.

“Blow up the car,” Water Fairy asserted as she changed a magazine. Lu Li didn’t think of this. After all, he only watched half an hour of the walkthrough. Lu Li and Water Fairy both shot at the car continuously; such a big target was much easier than shooting a person.

The person behind the car evidently realised what they were trying to do and tried to crawl away from it. Unfortunately, the two automatic guns blasting at their full strength led to it exploding in an instant.

“Before, someone else blew up my car. Now, I’ve finally gotten revenge,” Water Fairy proclaimed with satisfaction. Furthermore, she received the kill credit for the two casualties. Including one she had killed earlier, she had killed three people so far.

“Wait, don’t loot yet. 240 degrees south-west – there are two people aiming at us,” Lu Li said. He had already noticed them a while ago.

When Lu Li was looking around the loot boxes, he started to consider a few possible hiding places. The place where they were waiting now had a lot of shelter. The next best place would be where those two guys were. Water Fairy couldn’t see where they were hiding.

“What do we do now?” Water Fairy asked.

This was only Lu Li’s second game, but without realising, Water Fairy was becoming more dependent on him.

“I’m aiming at the one on the left. After I start firing, you start attacking the one on the right,” Lu Li answered. After all, he was still new to shooting, and he needed to wait until the person on the left wasn’t moving before he fired.

People who played this game were always swaying side to side. Although this posture didn’t look very elegant, it definitely reduced the chance of getting hit in the head.

Lu Li held his breath, waiting for an opportunity. For no apparent reason, the one on the left stopped moving and Lu Li decisively aimed at his head and shot.

Water Fairy strafed and shot the one on the right with two bullets.

“Press on ahead. I’ll cover you,” Lu Li said as he aimed at the area where the enemies were.

“Alright!” Water Fairy didn’t think much but gleefully went in for the kill.

She didn’t think about why Lu Li didn’t let her cover. It was actually because Lu Li was worried that the Female Tycoon would accidentally shoot him.

The target wasn’t going to just sit around and be attacked. His head popped out, looking to counterattack. Lu Li’s AKM was already aiming at his head and he was swiftly shot. It would’ve been better for him to keep hiding behind cover and bandaging himself up. Water Fairy fumbled her way up to the side of the cover, jumped out, and beat the guy to death.

Now, it was time to loot the dead body and the air drop!

There were lots of bandages, a level 3 helmet and armor and a whole pile of firearm accessories. There was no other way to get rich quickly in this world unless you plundered.

There was no legendary AWM in the air drop; there was just a M249 gun that shot 5.56 bullets. Apart from this, there was also a level 3 helmet and a ghillie suit.

Lu Li gave the M249 to Water Fairy but took the level 3 helmet and ghillie suit for himself. This was because Water Fairy had swapped her gun for an SKS (an automatic sniper rifle), so he took her M416 that was fully kitted out. The gun’s stability was better than that of the AKM, and with all the accessories, it could be considered the best automatic rifle.

“This was a fat one!”

“This has been received by express delivery. It is now being sent out. Please receive it with care!”

“Water Fairy has never been this kitted out before. There’s even a medic kit. Just as I thought, you need a guy and a girl working hard together.”

“I finally know why I can’t win Survival and Escape; it’s because I’m missing a camping teammate. As I expected, you can’t win this game just good shooting skills.”

“The blue circle’s really far, let’s go.” Lu Li looted enough bullets and started up the Jeep next to them. They had to cross the bridge; the map for this game consisted of one big island, one small island and two bridges linking them together. People often used the bridge to block off others from crossing one island to the next. This sort of intercepting and plundering was very common.

The players needed to go to the blue circle which was the safety zone. Lu Li and Water Fairy were very far from the blue circle and needed some sort of transport. Not only that, but because they were held up for a while at the Air Drop, they would have to travel at full speed.

The car drove at full speed towards the bridge.

“I’m worried that there will be people at the bridge blocking us. Those twisted people can’t get good things themselves, so they deliberately stay at the bridge to ambush people,” Water Fairy grumbled.

“It’s alright. As long as we’re fast enough, we should be able to speed right past,” Lu Li reassured. When the person you were shooting changed their speed, from sometimes fast to sometimes slow, or when they seemed to be wandering around purposelessly, it was very difficult to hit them. In this game, moving like this was called ‘snake skinning’.

“There’s someone there! There’s someone there!” Water Fairy called out.

“I see them. Just sit tight and don’t move.” Lu Li accelerated, moving straight through like he was cutting through a blockade.

The two people blocking the road couldn’t hide any longer. Firing in bursts didn’t look like it could stop such a fast vehicle, so they jumped out and started shooting automatically. They were trying to aim at Lu Li and Water Fairy instead of the car.
