“Do we know which team poached him?” Lu Li asked as he raised his head from a pile of documents.

She would probably be too busy to answer anyway. All of this information was coming from the Morning News, but this was mainly an Entertainment program, so the source couldn’t be trusted completely.

When he first heard that someone from Drizzle Court was poached, he worried about how much chaos it would cause internally and what the best thing for him to do would be. “Whatever you say,” Lu Li muttered, sounding bitter.

“Pfft, quit being in denial. Even if we were to face off against Glory Capital right now, our chances of losing are still quite high,” Square Root Three laughed. “If it’s a close match, then we would be fighting them for the championship, but if we get completely stomped, we might as well not even bother entering the finals.”

Deep down, Lu Li knew that Square Root Three was right, but why would he make Lu Li doubt himself?
