The Great Thief Chapter 1088 – Damn You For Not Warning Me
Translator: Halcyon Translations Editor: Halcyon Translations
“You can see that it’s wearing a Twilight badge,” Lu Li said as he pointed at the purple badge on Loregrain’s chest before adding, “If they are wearing the badge, then they definitely are from the Twilight Council. It’s true that there are some who don’t wear the badge, but we won’t go wrong if we attack first.”
“Damn this guy. Why is he kneeling there so piously?” Azure Sea Breeze groaned before charging in.
“Everyone else, wait,” Lu Li said as he extended his arm to stop everyone else. They all trusted Lu Li, so no one objected. Everyone just gathered around to watch Azure Sea Breeze die.
“Hey, Lu Li, are you just trying to get me killed?”
Azure Sea Breeze was revived and found that his equipment was in the red again. (When the durability of an item became low, the players would refer to it as being “in the red”). After all that had happened, Azure Sea Breeze decided not to bottle up his feelings anymore.
“Oh, do you feel like you died too quickly?” Lu Li asked.
“Well if no one is healing me, of course I’ll die faster.” Azure Sea Breeze was about to cry.
“Well, quickly go and change into your Fire Resistant equipment. I’ll get my robot to fix your equipment. Everyone else can get their equipment repaired too.”
Lu Li already knew that Azure Sea Breeze wouldn’t be able to tank the attacks, and didn’t want everyone else to die too.
The strength of Pyromancer Loregrain was that he was a master of fire.
This strength manifested in the way of incredible fire damage. Under normal circumstances, almost no Main Tank could withstand his fire attacks unless they specifically wore Fire Resistance equipment.
Stratholme, Maraudon and a few other Instance Dungeons that Ruling Sword had completed were places where they had a chance to acquire a number of excellent Fire Resistance items.

From this alone, you could already see the benefits of having a guild and a team. If Lu Li was alone, it would have been impossible for him to have acquired such a variety of equipment.
Once Azure Sea Breeze put on his equipment, he was finally able to stand up against the fierce firepower of the Boss. The next step was to discover the few skills that the Boss would use. The party was wiped a few times but eventually worked out the correct strategy and successfully killed the Boss.
Compared with the other Bosses in the arena, Pyromancer Loregrain was considered a major Boss.
Unfortunately, Wendelian failed to find any Epic equipment. There was the Burning Stave, Flamestrider’s Robes and Searingscale Leggings, which were all Dark Gold items. Their Attributes weren’t bad, and everyone who needed them rolled for them. As for the other two pieces of Gold equipment, they were given to Azure Sea Breeze as compensation.
Over this entire dungeon run, he had died multiple times and would likely spend a few dozen gold coins just to repair his equipment. The defensive potions that he often drank weren’t cheap either.
Lu Li read over the Enchanting Recipe, which was probably the most valuable item that was dropped by the Boss.
Not only did Lu Li make his two teammates roll for this item, but even Water Fairy participated to ensure he would get it. Regardless, there was no one here that studied Enchanting anyway since it was thought to be a waste of time.
Formula: Weapon Enchantment – Heated Weapon
Recipe: Enchantment
Requirement: Advanced Enchanting (245)
Use: Teaches you a permanent Enchantment for melee weapons, which can increase flame damage by 40%.
Fire was a very powerful means of dealing damage, which was why Fire Mages had stronger attacks than Ice Mages. Many players would use this Enchantment on their weapons, regardless of whether it was against other players or just monsters. The 40% increase in damage triggered quite frequently.

Additionally, this Enchant also had a hidden effect – a chance of dealing burn damage to the target.
“We’ll rest for half an hour and then fight another two Bosses before disbanding for the day.”
Lu Li saw that morale was not very high, so he gave everyone a break. Even if they decided to stop here, it wouldn’t matter too much as they weren’t in a hurry to finish this Instance Dungeon.
It was impossible for any party to complete Blackrock Abyss in the same day, especially if they were getting wiped this often.
Lu Li intended to go back and deal with the two Bosses by the Steel Gate. These two Bosses were more forgiving, which was more appropriate given everyone’s physical and mental fatigue.
If they went back towards the entrance and turned left, they would soon reach a wide black road. This was the Steel Avenue.
On the right side of the Steel Avenue was the path that led into Shadowforge City. To the left was the Gate that was guarded by one of Ironforge’s three lava giants – Bael’Gar.
The three Ironforge lava giants were Bael’Gar, Volchan and Magmus. Bael’Gar was not the strongest of these, but any creature guarding the Steel Gate was not to be trifled with. Bael’Gar’s strongest skill was Fission. Few people got to witness his power because those who did usually didn’t survive.
This terrible lava giant was blocking the Steel Gate, which was a grand work created by the Ironforge Engineers. Ragnaros had sent the giant from the central part of Molten Core and ordered him to guard the door for all eternity. The legends said that only the King of Fire and the top members of the Ironforge knew what was hidden beyond the gate.
Regardless of whether Lu Li wanted to explore or not, they had a quest that asked them to use the special black dragon skill to collect flame essence from Bael’Gar’s body.
“Can I go in?” Azure Sea Breeze asked as he looked at Lu Li in fear.
He had decided not to charge in on his own initiative anymore. Lu Li wasn’t evil and would only let him die when he charged in on his own. Although the Main Tank was usually given compensation after the Instance Dungeon run, everyone would want to avoid dying if they could.
“Put on your Fire Resistance equipment and go right ahead,” Lu Li said.
“Will I die?” Azure Sea Breeze didn’t feel assured.
“Who knows? You’re a Main Tank, so dying should be normal for you.”
Lu Li was unsympathetic. He thought that Azure Sea Breeze had died so many times that he should be used to it by now.
Azure Sea Breeze gave his commander the middle finger and slammed his weapon into Bael’Gar, who was shrouded in flames.
Bael’Gar’s first ultimate skill was called Lava Splash – players who attacked him in melee would receive fire damage every 3 seconds for 24 seconds. This effect could stack up to 3 times.
This was a difficult skill for melee players to deal with as they would often die if they did nothing about it. Some teams didn’t like taking melee players into the Blackrock Abyss for this reason, thinking that ranged players were somewhat safer because they didn’t have to be so close to the burning elementals.
Lu Li and the others had no choice as the team’s composition had already been decided.
If there were more melee players, then they would need to retreat everyone once in a while. There was a waterway not far from that location. Melee players that were burning could jump into the waterway to stop the burning.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Avaria: A Pay To Win Adventure
Avaria is a game like world where the wealthy are the strong. Want more strength, a specific skill or spell, well there's an item for that. If you can get it of course. These items are rare and far from plentiful, hoarded by the wealthy that can afford them. Acquired from Avaria itself, these items are dropped from strong monsters and dungeons, so if someone doesn't have the money, they must get it the hard and dangerous way. Don’t worry though, even the poor are born with at least one skill or spell that could help them in life, apart from the basic mana skills that everyone is born with. Usually these skills and spells are passed down from a parent. Of course, that doesn't mean they can use it. Any skills from birth are locked and unusable to start. Unlockable through great effort and practise, something many are unable to do without some guidance. There is another much quicker way however, through gaining experience from killing monsters and using that experience to unlock it. Adam is a human summoned to this world from earth. What effect can he have on this world when he is given a skill that he knows can be used to help many people, with the desire to do just that. Unfortunately it won't be so easy, as there are many obstacles in his way. It’s a cruel world, but he will have help and doesn’t have to do it alone as he meets new companions and makes friends along the way. Lianna is another human from earth who is summoned the same time as Adam. Though things go much differently for her as she is quickly enslaved, beaten and tortured. Unable to understand what her enslavers are telling her, she has a difficult time following through with the commands given to her. Forced to fight creatures and level up against her will. Authors Note: Aiming to post 1 chapter/week, while writing at least 1 chapter/week.

DISSOULVER
It was supposed to be a chill holiday with friends and family. Another world, no problem. It was supposed to be fair and safe. No powers, no problem. It was supposed to be... I'll kill them all, no problem. This story follows Jay, who - due to higher powers - is summoned to another world. He might not be loving it, but he wasn't supposed to be betrayed, left for dead, tortured, and sentenced to death. There's a gray area between love and hate, but Jay's world is red. --- *The story will occasionally switch perspectives throughout* Chapters will be released weekly, maybe two if I have a chance to write a bit more. HEIMDALLR
After his first life, Heimdallr felt he had lived a decent way; he wrote stories and lived a simple life, avoiding publicity and focused on promoting growth to the few who cherished his works. But after being reborn as Heimdallr Dagrsson, one of the many sons of Daesal's greatest warrior Dagr, he was put into a world devoid of wide-spread access to reading and writing. Instead, he was dropped into a world where fighting and death commonly reared their heads. Now, faced between his unsupported passion and his new life's innate talent and upbringing, he will have to find his new path. He will forge a new story that would make even himself dubious of whether or not it's fact or fable. HEIMDALLR is a story taking place in the setting created for another previous work of mine called KOBOLD. It follows a reincarnated person trying to wrestle between their old life and new life's wants and needs, all the while adapting to the situations that arise out of his control. Heimdallr starts out trying to survive and live a new life, all the while facing challenges and growth both fantastical and painfully real. Loosely inspired by Norse mythology and histories (names and some themes), spun into a fantasy, grit-rooted world. Skål! All content warning tags are applied so as to allow freedom of writing but there is no intent of excess or even regular use of these themes. Regardless of this, any and all uses will have dedicated warnings presented in the chapter whenever they are present! Reader beware!

I Am Not A Humanity's Traitor (Isekai LitRPG)
Ren is a reincarnated person. His new world had the same name as his old one, Earth. But that was the extent of the resemblances. Ren has a skill as well, or at least he was told he did, but he had no inkling of how to use it. He was disheartened at first but his goal wasn't the path to power, all he wanted from this world was to continue the peaceful life, but the world didn't even provide him with that. A luminous pillar descended upon him and one of his classmates. Goddess Helastia, one of the most revered goddess, called them to herself, probably not a good news. However, there, he finds that a group of heroes has been summoned from his past world to confront the Devils that will be rising soon. But contrary to his assumption of being a hero himself, she referred to him as a reincarnated imposter. She labeled both of them as Humanity's Traitors and sends them into a dungeon where they were supposed to live. That is, with their masters and comrades, the Devils and their minions. The monsters in the dungeon were not likely to accept them as allies, instead, they were out to devour the delicacies that appeared in their home. Only despair awaited them. ---------------------------------------------------------- This novel is inspired from Neets's parallel world syndrome, Abnormal state skill and bunch of other jp novels, this is also my first time writing a web novel. Also English isn't my native language, so, sorry in advance. The pic in the cover is taken from pixabay and edited by me.
