Of course, Lu Li and the others had no reason to object; the only one they needed to look after was Sesame Rice Ball.

The Invisibility Powder made through alchemy provided a certain amount of Stealth. At the very least, it didn’t make Sesame Rice Ball stand out too much to the monsters.

Leper Gnomes and Rockjaws were both humanoid units. Leper Gnomes were Gnomes who had lost their rationality after the radiation, while the latter were the failed creation of Titans.

This detail was important because of Sap, a Thief skill.

Sap was a skill that could only be casted on humanoid monsters that were out of combat. The four Thieves paved the way ahead, while avoiding as many monsters as possible. Those that they could not avoid, they would Sap and continue on by.

They soon reached the entrance, which was dark and isolated.

“I’ve studied this place a few times and I’ve seen some Blackback Rockjaws return here. We should be able to find their hive based on the directions given by this map.”

It seemed like this wasn’t the first time Haggle had come exploring here. He might have even already searched the area by himself before.

“What if we go in and run straight into the big base of the Rockjaws?” I Love Big Boobs was the captain of the Druid team in the guild, and was one of the first to enter the guild when it was first founded. Even though it seemed weak for him to be worried, everyone knew he had a point.

“Don’t worry, their basement isn’t here,” Haggle said calmly, but failed to hide his hateful gaze which revealed his real emotions.

Because of the radiation, the Gnomes couldn’t even take back their city, let alone invade the Rockjaws.

Lu Li patted his shoulder and said, “I believe the Gnomes will one day be able to reach their underground kingdom and wipe out their entire existence. Just don’t forget to thank us for our help at that time.”

Although the strength of the Gnomes wasn’t at its peak, they were still a powerful race. There was no harm in making friends with them.

At the same time, participating in a war between two great forces was an easy way to obtain a bounty of rewards. Major guilds often liked participating in these types of storylines.

Haggle led the way and the others followed him from behind into the cave.

They could feel the obvious slope of the tunnel downwards. The bottom of the cave had been paved by the Rockjaws, so it was flat and easy to pass through.

“Be careful. Prepare yourselves for battle at any time. I’ll walk at the front; you guys protect the Warlock. Speed up and make sure to not drop off the team,” Haggle instructed in a serious tone. They had finally begun to reach the underground world.

There was barely any light in the underground world, and many of the monster down here had already lost their vision.

Instead, they had developed their listening, smell and ability to detect changes in temperature. This easily allowed them to detect any intruders.

Lu Li and the others could navigate their way through glowing algae and minerals. He had a torch with him in his bag, but it was obvious that this wasn’t the right time to use it, as it would expose their location.

Fortunately, Haggle was a very experienced Scout. Lu Li and the others just had to follow behind.

“Pssstttt…”

A splash of venom shot over onto Sesame Rice Ball. He paused for a bit and quickly started drinking antidotes and health potions.

Lu Li looked towards the source of the venom and saw a giant head coldly staring at Rice Ball. The monster drooled; it wasn’t difficult to tell that it was hungry.

“Ice Lizard! Let’s all go; quickly finish it!” Haggle shouted and charged on ahead.

Lu Li and the others didn’t dare fall behind. Even though Haggle was still following them, they weren’t in a party with the NPC. As such, there was no guarantee that Lu Li and the others would get a share of what Haggle killed.

These units that hid in the dark were similar to Thieves, and could only be detected when they attacked.

In Lu Li’s previous life, he has heard that there were many Thieves who liked to visit the underground world. This was because the monsters here were capable of teaching them Stealth techniques.

After the Ice Lizard attacked, it found that it was surrounded by a group of Thieves. It had finally sen some food, but it turned out to be a trap.

I Love Boobs was skilled in Skinning, and couldn’t resist himself from skinning such a rare specimen.

The hide was definitely valuable, especially considering that it came with Attributes. The specialty of this skin was that when it was turned into an equipment, there was a certain chance that the equipment would have bonus Ice Defense or Ice Attack attributes.

“Why are we running into monsters of such a high-level right at the start?” Cain’s Left Hand asked in a low voice.

If all the monsters were level 52, didn’t that mean that they would be facing a Boss that was at least level 55? A level 55 wild Boss definitely wouldn’t be a piece of cake.
