Dawn did not restrict players from insulting NPCs. If an NPC initiated a fight and you were able to overpower him, you could take their loot.

Being a player who had undergone rebirth, Lu Li obviously would not go and complete the quests. He only wanted the Carving Blade that was rewarded at the very start of the quest.

Now that he had the Carving Blade, he was free to do whatever he wanted.

The Gnomish Poultryizer was known as a luxury product in Engineering. Compared to the Explosive Sheep that Lu Li had created, this was much more intricate and complicated. As soon as it malfunctioned, it would instantly be rendered useless, and the materials would not be able to be recovered.

Lu Li withdrew 10 different materials from his storage and lined them up on his workstation, then switched off all external channels.

The Gnomish Poultryizer consisted of three parts – a Hardened Adamantite Tube, the Khorium Power Core and the main structure, along with some pieces on the outside.

The main part was the Khorium Power Core. Khorium Ore Nuggets were smelted to make a Khorium Bar, which would then have an Engineering Circle carved into it. After activating the circle, energy would begin to flow out.

The Hardened Adamantite Tubes were used to harness the energy, which could then be directed towards the target.

Lu Li carefully adjusted the temperature of the furnace, removing the impurities from the Khorium Ore. This process was actually quite easy, which was completely different to real life.

Purifying ore was a large industry in the real world.

In the game, it had become simplified to the point of triviality. Very soon, a solidifying bar of Khorium appeared in front of him. The gold colour had a soft, white lustre and it was extremely hot.

This was the result of releasing the energy. Khorium ore was definitely the most suited to making the power core.

As Dawn sprung up, internet slang also appeared with it. Among these terms, there was one that said, "So bright that it blinds my Khorium eyes," which signified a blinding, awe-inspiring feeling.

Lu Li first tried using a normal Carving Blade. This type of Carving Blade that could be bought in the shops was quite inefficient. Even after exerting a lot of pressure, it barely made a scratch.

The clarity of the line would not only affect the success rate, but would also affect the overall use of the product.

As soon as he changed to Linken's carving blade, he felt an obvious increase in accuracy and sharpness. Lu Li was extremely happy. If it gave bonuses like this, the increase in speed would be far more than 20%.

After drawing the Engineering Circle over the Khorium bar, the original light had disappeared. Only after activating the bar would the original light appear once again. As he completed more and more of these carvings, he became more efficient.

After that, there were some small parts to make – the shell, ignition device, glue, etc. The last step was putting it all together, which was followed by troubleshooting if necessary.

Lu Li closely examined each part of the machine and began to assemble them once he felt reasonably confident.

It was good that Lu Li had possessed enough materials instead of being like his former poor self. He was quite excited and his heart was rapidly racing. After all, this was something made out of Khorium. If it failed, he would lose a lot of gold coins.

Tens of gold coins would equate to an average person's salary over one or two months.
