The Great Thief Chapter 745: Sharing

"Teleport three players from our guild there and we'll pay for whatever the price you offer," Water Fairy said, her voice crisp and determined.

"That's a bit…" Lu Li found her request to be quite difficult; it was obvious that her motive wasn't as simple as it seemed. One of the three that was teleported would obviously be a Warlock who had learned the same Teleportation skill as Sesame Rice Ball.

Water Fairy had taken the skill book last time they found it together. If she wanted to be teleported in alone, based on their friendship, Lu Li wouldn't hesitate for a second.

However, he knew that if he agreed to her request and the Warlock from Drizzle Court was summoned, the rest of their guild would follow. This included Peerless City, who was a part of their alliance.

After grinding in level six of the Trial Tower, Lu Li had gained around 14% EXP.

Nuo Yu was at a lower level than them and had gained around 30%. Remnant Dream, who was the lowest level player in their party had gained more than 40% EXP.

Although he had yet to gather the statistics, he could almost guarantee that most players would have leveled up at least once.

This was their private way of leveling up, and not only was it very fast, but it also meant that Ruling Swords finally had a way of closing the gap between them and the other Major Guilds. Additionally, it could also be a feature that attracted more professional players to join their guild.

"We're not your enemy."

Water Fairy knew that she was asking for a lot, but the Trial Tower was worth her efforts. In order to further strengthen her guild, she had to shamelessly ask Lu Li for this favor and was willing to do anything to get him to accept her request.

"My first thought…" Lu Li began, then hesitated and continued, "I hesitated because I was well aware of the consequences and didn't make a rash decision."

"Haha, you almost agreed didn't you? If it was someone else, say… Dust Dragon from Blood Red War Flag, would you hesitate? Square Root Three was almost giggling.

"Of course not," Lu Li answered immediately.

He wasn't friends with Dust Dragon and although Lu Li had the utmost respect for him, it wouldn't have influenced his decision.

"So, Lu Li, Water Fairy is different to you," Square Root Three remarked in a weird tone, then paused and suggested, "If you like her, you should accept her request. Maybe she'll touched and accept your love for her."

Lu Li almost choked from coughing.

"What the hell are you talking about Brother Three?!"

"Hehe, you can deny it all you want, but I can't be bothered listening to your excuses. Just say yes," Square Root Three interrupted. He was in support of Lu Li's decision to share the Trial Tower with Drizzle Court.

"Why? Isn't it better for us to keep the resources to ourselves?" Lu Li asked in confusion.

"We probably can't keep it to ourselves for long anyways; I'm afraid that people will start harassing us by next week. People from the Gangnam Royals have managed to find us already. Drizzle Court already has the Teleportation skill anyways All they have to do is escort the Warlock to the Trial Tower like we did. We can't do anything to stop them, so it's better to do this favor for them this one time," Square Root Three explained

Lu Li wasn't an idiot and knew what Square Root Three meant immediately.

"Water Fairy is a very prideful person. If she owes someone a favor she'll definitely return it. Go say yes to her; I look forward…"

Square Root Three didn't finish his sentence. He meant to say that he looked forward to Lu Li and Water Fairy becoming a couple. That way, Ruling Sword and Drizzle Court would merge and become strong enough to challenge Glory Capital.

Lu Li wasn't exactly young anymore, and eventually, he would have to start a family.

Drizzle Court's Warlock was teleported and the rest of them began appearing one by one.

Although they were in an alliance, this was the first time that the two guilds had worked together. Since their leaders got along so well, the two sides got along fine too.

However, the guys that admired Water Fairy began feeling envious.

Apparently the rumors were true that Water Fairy and Lu Li were in a relationship. Otherwise, why would Lu Li share such a great leveling spot with them?

Water Fairy did not enter the Trial Tower immediately. Instead, she went to Lu Li to ask about the Trial Tower and thanked him.

"Thank you, how much…?"

Lu Li didn't mention anything about paying him, but Water Fairy didn't like owing favors to others.

"No need. We're in an alliance," Lu Li dismissed as he waved his hands.

Square Root Three was just making fun of him before, but now Lu Li felt uncomfortable around her. He felt that there was something different between him and her today.

"Then… we'll just settle. You don't have to pay me the five million that you owe me."

For others, five million dollars was a large sum that they might never make in their entire life. However, this was nothing for her.

She spoke in a serious tone because she didn't want to let Lu Li think that she was being grateful.

"We'll talk about it later; I'm busy right now. If you have any matters, discuss them with Brother Three," Lu Li interrupted. It was never his intention to not pay her back because he had done her a favor. Borrowing money and paying it back wasn't something to be ashamed of.
