The Great Thief Chapter 651: Big Skill
Wandering had a look of resentment, but he had been chosen, so he had no choice but to cast Taunt.
"Come hit me!"
Azure Sea Breeze could tank it for 9 seconds, but World's Best Friend could only tank it for 7 seconds as his Defence and HP wasn't as high. As for Wandering, he could only tank it for 4-5 seconds.
After Azure Sea Breeze's HP was restored, he jumped back in and the three tanks continued to rotate.
It wasn't that the players were afraid to let loose and attack, but that the Boss was very aggressive. Anyone who wasn't a defensive profession would probably be unable to tank the damage.
It was only until after the Demonic Storm had passed that everyone felt some relief.
Lu Li saw that the Boss had stopped and quickly decided for his teammates to burst it as much as they could.
"Memories, use Bloodlust."
With Bloodlust in effect, the players gained a significant increase in attack power and casted their strongest skills as quickly as they could. They dealt a huge amount of damage and the Boss' 50,000-point health bar rapidly dropped.
The only troublesome thing was that Lu Li didn't know what would happen if one of them died. If he had to guess, they would probably get kicked out of the secret area after dying unless they were revived.
Without the Magic Stone, they would have fewer and fewer players, se had to be as conservative as possible. The three tanks and five healers in this party played the biggest roles. The others also had to ensure that they kept the Boss' aggro under control.
"Bloodlust is so strong!" Flying Fish Hater exclaimed with tears streaming down his eyes.
After taking a look at the damage output, the team realized just how insane Bloodlust was. It was no wonder why Shamans were so valuable.

Other professions had similar rage skills, but who else could benefit from rage? With Bloodlust, the entire team's damage output could be increased.
Flying Fish Hater had already learned this skill, and fully levelled it with his saved Skill Points without hesitation.
He had never used it before, but after seeing its effect, he was immediately satisfied and filled with anticipation for it.
"Use Bloodlust on my command. Just hold on to it for now."
Unfortunately, Lu Li didn't allow him to use it. Everyone had just received the Bloodlust effect and had to wait for a certain duration before they could receive it again. They also had to see how the Boss would react.
If their damage was too high, the Boss had a chance of going Berserk even before it reached critical HP. It was best to wait until the Boss had just used a powerful skill as there would be a following rest period.
"Mm, I understand." Flying Fish Hater wasn't a rookie either.
"I keep thinking about this…" Sesame Rice Ball, who was usually quiet, spoke up, "If we open a portal from within the secret area, can we pull in players from the outside?"
"Oh yeah!" Azure Sea Breeze slapped his thigh and almost dropped his axe.
"Do you want to try it?" Wandering was curious as well. If there were 200 players fighting this Boss, it would definitely be faster and they wouldn't need to use him as cannon fodder.
"Stop dreaming. That's impossible," Lu Li said as he shook his head. "If you teleport someone in, then another person will be randomly kicked out."
This was such a big game – how could it have such a stupid bug?
Everyone was discouraged and had no choice but to properly fight the Boss. Perhaps it was because of the frustration, but when the Boss cast the second Demonic Storm, Azure Sea Breeze and World's Best Friend ran into some trouble.

World's Best Friend's taunt missed!
Taunt was a skill that could miss, but the probability was so low that it was negligible. This was especially the case for someone like World's Best Friend who was a high-level defensive player.
World's Best Friend cried out and lamented in his heart; he was probably going to get scolded by Lu Li.
"Dammit!"
Without anyone to tank the Boss for Azure Sea Breeze, he had no choice but to helplessly kneel.
"What are you guys doing? Get ready to take the aggro! Wandering you go first!" Lu Li's clearly commanded, his voice not sounding panicked at all. As the commander, the others would just give up if he panicked.
This wasn't an Instance Dungeon – it was a secret area. They had no idea what would happen after death, so they couldn't just give up.
Lu Li wasn't the kind of commander that would get angry at every little thing. He of all people knew when it was appropriate to get angry and when it wasn't. He wasn't really angry to begin with anyway.
Hachi Chan didn't need Lu Li's instruction this time, and immediately casted Resurrect on Azure Sea Breeze.
After Azure Sea Breeze was resurrected, his HP was quickly replenished and he was ready to go again. It was too bad that Hachi Chan had to use Resurrect – they had lost one of their safeguards now.
World's Best Friend went in before Azure Sea Breeze, who was still 30 seconds from being at full HP. It was risky, but they survived this wave of damage.
"Alright, don't get distracted and pay attention to the rhythm."
Lu Li didn't name or criticize World's Best Friend. The others weren't sure, but also decided to be polite about it. Even if Lu Li didn't say anything, World's Best Friend probably wasn't going to make the same mistake again.
These few players had a rare opportunity to team up with Lu Li, and they didn't have much time to prove themselves.
"Do you want to use Bloodlust?" Flying Fish Hater was becoming impatient.
"Hmm… wait a bit more!" Lu Li was just about to say yes before he saw a rain of fire spreading out.
This damned Doomguard actually hadn't played all of its cards yet. This was a completely new skill and it was giving them no breathing room; they couldn't use Bloodthirst now.
What was even worse was that this Rain of Fire was different from before.
The previous one had a range of attack that was relatively small – only a few players were affected by it. This time, the rain of fire enveloped the entire area.
Lu Li glanced at the Boss' HP; they had already dropped it down to half.
No wonder it was using such a powerful move. Bosses that were higher than level 40 would often do this kind of thing. There weren't many area-wide skills that a Doomguard could use, but Rain of Fire was one of them.
The other was War Trample, but it hadn't used it today. It seemed like it hadn't learned that yet.
"Healers, focus on healing and maintain everyone's HP. Main Tanks, use your damage reduction skills," Lu Li had brought five healers with him, so it was possible to navigate this Rain of Fire. Moreover, even if they lost one or two players, it didn't matter too much.
It wasn't clear whether Hachi Chan was surprised or scared when Lu Li asked her to perform such a tricky task.
