“That’s what Red said,” After Ethan Lu exited the conference room, Lyrick Jiang came up from behind and relayed the reports he just received .

“I’ll go to her myself . ” Nodding his head, a sharp glint flashed across Ethan Lu’s eyes . Just the beginning of their all out investigation and the pieces were slowly coming together .

The more Ethan Lu hear about the result in each of his men’s side, the more Dylan Lu’s presence to him grew stronger . If Dylan Lu was truly involved in this, then Ethan Lu was afraid he could not let Dennis Lu apprehend his son as Ethan Lu would do it himself .

When Ethan Lu arrived in his office, he stopped in the entrance momentarily . Inside the office, Dennis Lu was sitting on one couch while reading a magazine that was placed on his lap .

“What do you want?” Cold and unwelcoming, Ethan Lu closed the door behind him as he went straight to his desk .

Dennis Lu cleared his throat as she closed the magazine . Returning it on top of the small table, Dennis Lu set his eyes on Ethan Lu . “Do you know Avah returned?”

Upon hearing the woman’s name, Ethan Lu’s right brow arched . Hence, Ethan Lu turned his head to Dennis Lu as he leaned on the edge of his desk . “What about it?”

“So, you knew?” Seeing the lack of reaction from his nephew, Dennis Lu asked vaguely .

“Know that she returned or the fact that she was your mistress?”

“Hah,” Upon hearing Ethan Lu’s last remarks, Dennis Lu scoffed . “Was your ego hurt, so you sent her to seduce me again?” A displeased glint flickered across Dennis Lu’s eyes as a mocking sneer formed on the side of his lips .

“Is that what she said?” Arching his brows, Ethan Lu slightly raised his chin up as he crossed his arms across his abdomen .

“Where’s the child?” After his meeting with Avah Tong, Dennis Lu was already suspicious why on earth she decided to meet him .

Obviously, he knew the woman and what’s between them were nothing but a give and take relationship . Dennis Lu never loved Avah Tong and vice versa .

He supported Avah Tong’s needs financially, and she satiate his lust . Therefore, it was not a surprise that they wouldn’t get in touch again after the whole incident with Ethan Lu years ago .

However, she returned and was looking for a child that Dennis Lu knew should be with her . Actually, although Dennis Lu didn’t love her, there was no doubt that the child was his .

Dennis Lu didn’t want his illegitimate child to be an embarrassment in the future . His blood still runs in his veins . Thus, even if the child was the fruit of his infidelity, he would support yhe child willingly .

But now, he came to know that the child has been missing for years now . How could he not be enraged and Ethan Lu was the first person who came in his mind .

Despite that, there was a small part of Dennis Lu that doubt Avah Tong’s words . The reason he confronted Ethan Lu .

If the kid is not in your custody, he’s not under my wing either . ” Slowly, Ethan Lu straightened his posture . “If I were you, ask the people who knew about this affair of yours — maybe, ask Auntie or . . . your dear son . ” Ethan Lu emphasized Dylan Lu’s name which made the corner of Dennis Lu’s lips curved downward .

Ethan Lu wouldn’t be surprised if his cousin was involved in this . If Dylan Lu was, it only meant that he had been scheming behind while facading as some prince uninterested in the Lu’s power struggle .

Just then, a knock was heard from the outside before it slowly opened, revealing Lyrick Jiang . “Director Lu,” he greeted with a slight bow upon seeing Dennis Lu’s figure .

“Same . Uncle, stopped your corruption right now and focus on the development of the company as an executive director . I’ll be cleaning the family — I won’t be lenient this time . ” Despite saying this piece of threat, Ethan Lu contradicted it as he was surely being biased for warning him for the last time .

Dennis Lu just scoffed before he resumed on his tracks and left the office .
