Morris Liu’s eyes slowly opened . Memories from before he fell unconscious surged inside his mind causing it to ache . “Ugh…” A muffled groan escaped his dried lips as he tried to move . However, with just that slight motion, he felt something on his side .

With great effort, he turned to look at the soft form beside him . However, what blessed his eyes was not a pillow or something, but someone: a woman! In an instant, Morris Liu was alarmed yet, unlike how his heart rate escalated earlier, it was rather normal this time .

Still, his whole body stiffened when Churu moved, finding comfort in him by squeezing herself closer than they already were . For a moment, Morris Liu’s mind short-circuited because of the myriads of question surged inside his mind .

Why was there a woman sleeping beside him? Who was she? Why was she there? And was she . . . naked? These were just an example of the series of questions that floated in his mind .

Gazing down, Churu’s shoulders were bare and exposed while the rest of her body was under the sheet . To get the answer of his last question, Morris Liu just needed to lift the sheet . However, he was afraid to know the answer .

For Pete’s sake! His heart was literally vulnerable . Therefore, knowing what lies beneath this sheet, he might have another cardiac arrest . Morris Liu didn’t want to court death yet — he nearly died multiple times today .

Just then, Churu slowly moved, her chest brushed on his side while her leg rested on top of his . Her slim arm then returned to his waist as she pulled him closer to her . “Hmmm…” as if she was having sweet dreams, a soft hum escaped her lips .

Meanwhile, Morris Liu’s already hard body was left immobilized . He wanted to jump out from the bed or scream, however, his body was weak and his throat was parched . He could barely make a sound as it felt like his throat was being ripped apart .

Just then, Churu suddenly opened her eyes from her sweet sleep . Blinking it many times, she suddenly sat up, causing the sheet to slide down . It revealed the glory of her naked upper body for Morris Liu to feast on .

“I fell asleep!” Aghast, it shocked Churu that she slept for the first time . She only wanted to rest and heal, but she didn’t expect that she’d truly fall asleep . Although Churu goes to her slumber sometimes, she wasn’t fully asleep as her mind was still active .

In other words, although she seemed to sleep, her mind was still there — working for her inner energy to recuperate faster . But now she fell asleep! Like a human that needed sleep to recharge .

“Oh, no…” Just as Churu shook her head profusely, she noticed a pair of confused yet cold eyes staring at her . Hence, as her words trailed off, she turned her attention to the awake Morris Liu .

As soon as her pair of argent orbs met his, her eyes widened in disbelief . Morris Liu was already shocked to see a woman lying naked beside him . Thus, he thought he was already at the peak of being startled . Alas, he was wrong because he too was surprised that Churu’s reaction was just as shocked as him .

“I — why —” Churu’s words wouldn’t come out from her mouth as being found out by him startled her to the core . How could she not sense that he was awake? Churu glanced at the monitor that was monitoring his heart and to her relief, Morris Liu was fine .

She then returned her eyes on him and pursed her lips together . They stared at one another without a word being said, as Churu contemplated on what she should say . On the other hand, Morris Liu suddenly recalled a vague memory of the same color of her eyes .

An argent pair that shone like two shining full moon staring down at him . He remembered how she calmed him down and his unstable heart felt her warmth . He thought it was just a dream, but now . . .

After a minute of pondering, she cleared her throat and straightened her posture, completely forgetting that she was not clad . “I’m Alvah, nice to meet you . ” Trying to sound less awkward, Churu introduced herself, but to no avail, Morris Liu just stared at her with a complicated look .

“You don’t have to be afraid of me — I didn’t mean any harm, I swear!” Taking his reaction as a look of doubt, Churu exclaimed as she peered at him with sincerity . However, instead of nodding his head, Morris Liu slowly raised his hand and pointed at her exposed body as he looked away without a word .

Following where he was pointing at, Churu looked down and her eyes widened even more . That very instant, Churu covered her chest by her arms as she ducked, “Pervert! Morris pervent! Pervert pervert pervert!” she accused .

Fortunately, her face was buried on the bed, hence, it muffled her voice . Still, upon hearing her accusatory remarks, Morris Liu’s brows twitched . How could she call him that if, in the first place, she was the intruder here!

“I really hate you!” Churu slightly raised her head and peeked at his astounded side profile . Her face was all in red as she was truly embarrassed that her body had been gazed upon .

Churu didn’t know the reason, but it was as if that was her natural reaction . She was a shameless demon and had seen multiple naked bodies — even mangled ones . Also, she was always naked in her dumpling form, hence, she should be used by it . But she wasn’t!

Although Morris Liu should have been alarmed by now, there was something within him that was telling him it’s fine . Morris Liu had always trusted his instinct . Thus, instead of calling someone, he lifted the sheet that was covering him and placed it on her exposed back .

When Churu felt something cover her back, she raised her eyes again to see him look away without giving her a look of interest .
