Even though Lexi doesn’t participate in whatever issues the agency was facing unless it was a major problem aside, she was still the co-owner of Abigail Fan’s agency. Hence, for Abigail Fan to contact her and ask for back up means it was a huge problem.

Meanwhile, unlike Lexi who was puzzled and pondering what the problem might be, Ethan Lu ground his teeth as Nico Zhuang broke his moment with Lexi. For Pete’s sake! He hadn’t finished yet and Lexi was about to start. Why of all the times and days did Abigail Fan decided to ask for Lexi’s back up?!

“Alright, I’ll return her call in a minute.” Letting Nico Zhuang know that she heard him, Lexi raised her voice so the other person outside the room could hear. She didn’t hear Nico Zhuang respond anymore but Lexi was certain that he heard her and must have probably left.

“Damn Nico.” Displeased, Ethan Lu frowned as he watched Lexi get off of him and jumped out of the bed. “Love, what about me?” Seeing that Lexi hurriedly picking up her blouse laying on the floor and then wore it in one swift move, Ethan Lu grumbled.

“I’ll be back,” Lexi noted before she rushed to the door and slowly peeked outside. Seeing that Nico Zhuang was gone, Lexi dashed towards her desk and were her handbag was resting. After picking it up, she returned to the small room carrying the bag with her.

Lexi then searched for her phone and the moment she opened it, there were tons of missed calls from Abigail Fan. Hence, without a second’s hesitation, Lexi dialed Abigail Fan’s contact number while slowly sitting on the side of the bed.

It only took one ring for the line to connect on the other end of the line. When it connected, even before Lexi could speak, Abigail Fan’s panic-stricken voice was what welcomed her.

“Lexi! Thank God you called!”

“Why? What happened?” Knitting her brows, Lexi inquired hearing that Abigail Fan’s composure was out of the ordinary. However, instead of worrying, Lexi suddenly tilted her head to the side as Ethan Lu was smooching on her neck.

“Gosh… I don’t know where to start. One of our artists had an arising s.e.x scandal. I don’t know, I am out of the country and the soonest flight I could book was scheduled past midnight. Now, some partners and other clients are withdrawing their endors.e.m.e.nt offers. Oh god…” By the sound of his voice, Abigail Fan was indeed in great distress while massaging her temples.

“S.e.x scandal? Is it really her?” Knitting her brows, Lexi held onto Ethan Lu’s wrist as he was fondling her b.r.e.a.s.t while leaving a hickey on her shoulder that he managed to expose by moving her blouse by his teeth.

“She said it wasn’t her and the video was quite pixelated. Lexi, please I know you are busy with Beauty DR but this needs us to deal with it because some of our executives were asking for an immediate meeting today. If only I was there and I could fly the soonest, haist!”

“Alright, I’ll go to the office…” Heavily sighing, Lexi got the gist of the real problem as their investors and other clients were surely hastening to pull out whatever business they had with their agency and their artist. Hence, since the owner they knew wasn’t there, Lexi, as the co-owner should show herself to deal with them.

“Later…” Whispering on her other ear, Ethan Lu reminded her that Lexi shouldn’t say the word ‘now’ as she still has some unfinished business with him. “Perhaps, in three hours? Or five?” Nibbling on her earlobe, Ethan Lu chanted as if he was bewitching Lexi to follow his instructions.

“Set the meeting in four hours. I’ll be there and make sure the involved artist would be there. Don’t release any statement first— I need to be sure that it is not really her but ask the PR management to gather evidence that could prove her innocence.” Not giving in to the fact that Ethan Lu was boldly seducing her while she was on a call with Abigail Fan, Lexi cleared her throat as she gave instructions while sounding as normal as ever.

“Alright, thank you, Lexi! Really, thank you!” Relieved that Lexi could make time for their agency, Abigail Fan expressed her sincerest thanks over and over again.

“No worries.” With that said note, Lexi hung up the call and tossed her phone to the side before facing Ethan Lu that was seducing her. “You…” Sounding helpless, Lexi knew that there were things to worry about but right now, her husband and his needs were her priority. After all, it was unhealthy for Ethan Lu not to release his built-up heat inside him.

“That’s my Lexi.” Leaning his head to her, Ethan Lu dominated her lips again as she wrapped her arms around him. God knows he was certain that Lexi would prepare herself to rush to whatever problem the agency was having that she was funding. But, after she hung up and tossed her phone to the side, he was moved and knew at that very moment that she wouldn’t leave him hanging.
