The Rise of the White Lotus Chapter 383 – B.r.e.a.s.tfeeding mom

The next morning, Lexi arrived at the babies’ temporary room in the yang mansion. Opening the door in a slow manner, she took a peek inside. Upon seeing the scene inside, Lexi could not help her lips but curl into a grin.

There, her twins were soundlessly asleep in their respective cribs while Ethan Lu was sleeping— face front on half of the bed while from his waist down, was out of the bed. By the looks of it, Ethan Lu was so groggy that he didn’t make it to the bed and laid in an improper sleeping position.

Through careful tiptoed steps, Lexi entered the room and checked if her twins were still breathing. Funny, when she became an official mother, she had this anxiousness that she often checks her kids if they were still breathing whenever they are asleep.

Not just that, Lexi frequently had this sudden panic when her twins were too quiet. Admittedly, Lexi found it a little silly but what could she do? She was now a mother of two beautiful and perfectly wonderful twins. Therefore, her maternal instincts were always high on alert.

“Morning…” Whispering, Lexi placed a kiss on each of her children’s hands and carefully, she retracted her head not to disturb her infant’s sleeping— also, her biggest baby that was named Ethan Lu.

Lexi stared at them with a soft gaze as her heart melted with contentment. Perhaps, it was complete now that Ethan Lu proposed that she should catch up with her sleep as Lexi was lacking sleep when she was discharged from the hospital, taking care of her twins. Therefore, the idea from him, Ethan Lu was getting enough sleep because she tried not to wake him up as much as possible. Moreover, Lexi always told him that he was already exhausted from his work and all of the pressure from the Lu Corporations business matters.

After some time, Lexi tiptoed herself out and successfully departed causing just the slightest sound. Since she felt fully recharged, Lexi decided to prepare some breakfast for her man and his back up from last night.

When Lexi arrived at the living area, she bit her bottom lip as hard as she could— refraining herself from bursting out laughing because of the scene that she witnessed in there was a rare sight. In the living area, the three: Lyrick Jiang, Jarred Guo, and even Nico Zhuang had occupied their own spots to sleep.

Lyrick Jiang on the long couch with his one foot placed on the head pillar of the sofa while his hand was dangling down to the carpeted floor. On the other hand, Jarred Guo was snoring on the side of the small table that he pushed aside a little and took its original place. There was an evident amount of drool on the side of his lips revealing how tired he was throughout the night.

Meanwhile, Nico Zhuang who took the other long sofa was soundlessly sleeping with a proper position and a small pillow covering his face. Overall, it was a sight to see that these three seasoned and very serious small group, whenever they were in their work mode, most of the time being fed by dog food, were sleeping like boys as if they were in their teens all over again crashing wherever they landed after a long night of partying.

Since it was a rare sight, Lexi hurried back to the master’s bedroom to grab her phone. It only took her a few minutes to return to the living area and the three didn’t move a muscle as they remained in their positions from before she had left.

Without further ado, Lexi stood on the corner of the living area and captured the moment. She wanted to print it out and add it to the photo album so her children could give these three uncles some credit and respect when they grow up, along with a dose of laughter.

“What a sight to see…” She murmured before Lexi faintly giggled and sent the best photo of the three to her parents that were still outside of the country. She sent the picture with a message saying: “Mom, they need you guys back! Haha!”

Giggling upon seeing that her message was delivered, Lexi hurried to the kitchen to prepare a healthy and satisfying breakfast for the four of them. Little did she know, Lexi should have made lunch for them as they didn’t wake up until eleven in the morning.

“Enjoy your lunch, I’ll go upstairs with the twins.” Smiling, Lexi helped prepare some lunch for the four who were now just staring at their plates with a groggy expression across their faces. The bags under their eyes were clearly evident as if their sleep was not enough to soothe their exhaustion.

The four of them seemed as if they didn’t hear Lexi’s statement as they just stared at the food in a daze. Regardless, Lexi only chuckled as she shook her head sideways to give the four men some time for their heads to normally function.

Leaving the four in the dining room, Lexi carried the twins that were now sleeping again after their intense crying session, which naturally woke the four and made them panic. She headed to the temporary nursery room as Lexi chose to b.r.e.a.s.tfeed her twins instead of using formula.

Also, since she was blessed with bountiful gold fluids that were naturally seeping out from her n.i.p.p.l.es, she had to pump out some of it before her b.r.e.a.s.ts exploded. When she arrived at the room, Lexi placed her twins near her as she started her pumping session.

It wasn’t exactly painful to b.r.e.a.s.tfeed, in reality, it felt sort of euphoric. The issue was in between feedings as it was excruciating. The pain whenever her b.r.e.a.s.ts felt so full and firm that she felt like they would explode. Surely, the sacrifices of a mother for her children was too much to endure sometimes. Plus, she was having severe hair loss from giving birth added to it a full month of continuous, heavy bleeding, it was no small amount either much worse than her normal monthly.

However, knowing that her twins were eating the best and most nutritious milk she could offer, not to mention, the joy whenever her twins smile at her was what’s important. Also, it magically soothed her stress and the little pain away… as long as her children were healthy and their tummy was full.
