The Rise of the White Lotus Chapter 255 – Did you just call me babe?

When Lexi opened the door, at the same time, Ethan Lu was also about to open the door as his timer reached its end. The moment their eyes met, Lexi chuckled as she saw this coming and she was right!

“Uh… my radar told me I needed to open the door for my lady— I’m a gentleman.” Awkwardly chuckling, Ethan Lu made an excuse which wasn’t convincing at all. Yet, he didn’t mind as he already knew by the looks of it that Lexi already figured out what’s in his mind.

“Okay… I believe you.” Nodding, Lexi went along with his ploy as it wasn’t something she should be mad about. Rather, she found it a little cute that this boyfriend was too easy to read and predict most of the time.

As Ethan Lu closed the door, Lexi was already inside and nonchalantly strode towards the living area. He looked at her small back and a bitter glint flashed across his eyes before he silently followed behind her.

He wanted to ask why she suddenly had the courtesy to send Louis Lu off— not because he was jealous or anything of the sort— Ethan Lu was worried that Louis Lu unnecessarily run his mouth. After all, the guy was too honest for his own good and wouldn’t care if he was misunderstood or not.

“Don’t worry, I only clarified to your cousin that I don’t like him either.” Sensing his unusual silence, Lexi turned around and smiled.

Lexi knew that Ethan Lu wanted to practice an honest relationship— no secrets but, if she said her real reason why she sent Louis Lu off, it might or might not put a small wedge between cousins.

Well, would it benefit them if she told him that before Ethan Lu arrived that night, Louis Lu was already there comforting her without a word— what would Ethan Lu feel about it then? Hence, to save the three of them some trouble and prevent putting an unnecessary jealousy seed that might lead to a misunderstanding, Lexi decided not to tell him.

After all, Lexi was certain that she wouldn’t approach Louis Lu unless she absolutely had to. Moreover, now that she would be living with Ethan Lu, that doesn’t matter anymore right? What’s important were the upcoming days ahead.

“I know,” Meekly smiling, Ethan Lu took two immediate strides to her and swiftly pulled her to his embrace. Resting his chin on her shoulder, Ethan Lu once again wrapped his arms around her slender waist.

“Did you think I’d get jealous over Lou?” He lowly added with a questioning tone.

“Of course not, you’re not that petty.” Chuckling, Lexi humored as she snaked her arms around his broad shoulders. She slightly jumped and by the next second, her legs were wrapped around him— taking the sloth persona to a different level unlike earlier.

“Carry me, my prince~” In the cutest tone she could speak, Lexi sounded as if she was a princess needing to be rescued.

“Ayt— my princess, don’t worry I will save you~” Going along with their role playing, Ethan Lu responded as he secured his arms around her and carried her upstairs.

Both of them laughed heartily as they exchanged dialogues that didn’t make sense as if there’s a bystander around. Nevertheless, the two of them could not be bothered as if they are the only two people in the world.

As they arrived inside the master’s bedroom, Lexi still clung onto him. Their naughty dialogues and laughs along their way was swiftly replaced by a smooching sound as Ethan Lu and Lexi silently submitted to their growing body heat just when they were outside the room.

His hands roamed freely around her as Ethan Lu could walk around his own house even if he was blindfolded. Hence, he relied on his instinct to deliver the sexy sloth clinging around him, while dominating her with his mouth, to bed.

Soon, Lexi felt the soft mattress against her back as Ethan Lu carefully laid her down without breaking the kiss. The instant she was positioned, Ethan Lu’s lips finally parted away from her and moved to her jaw and then to her neck— placing soft, weightless kisses on her skin.

Meanwhile, his sneaky hand slid inside her loose pajama blouse and slowly traced her side curves from her waist up to the side of her breast and then cupped her firm boobs.

“Got cha.” He mumbly teased as Ethan Lu bit a small area of her neck and slightly licked it.

“Uh, wait…” Feeling that his hand cupped her mountain and began fondling it in a slow indulging motion, Lexi stopped him by placing her hand on his chest to lightly push him.

“Aren’t you tired?” Raising her brows as Ethan Lu was now on top of her— staring straight at her pair of natural sharp eyes, Lexi inquired in an exasperated tone.

“I am,” Instead of frowning like he usually would when he was interrupted in the middle of eating his dessert, Ethan Lu subtly smiled. He placed a soft peck on her lips before he removed his hand from her lovely orb and sat beside her. Lexi also supported herself by her elbow and turned her slightly flushed face next to her.

Ethan Lu shot her a glance and smirked, “I know you need to rest since you’ll be preparing for your seminars soon.”

“Ohh…” Slightly nodding her head, Lexi was neither appeased nor displeased. Well, a small part of her was disappointed that Ethan Lu didn’t plan to go all the way but the other part of her was relieved that she could focus on her upcoming plans.

“But, if you like then we can—”

“Ethan, freshen up so we can rest.” Abruptly interrupting his obvious humor, Lexi thrust her chin to the direction of the bathroom while raising her brows upward and downward.

“En…” Chuckling, he mildly shook his head because unlike Lexi who’s ready to go to bed, Ethan Lu on the other hand was still in his business attire. Hence, he wasn’t really planning to go further tonight.

As Ethan Lu dragged himself towards the bathroom, he took off his blazer suit jacket on his way, of which he tossed to the long sofa inside the room, he was also unbuttoning his inner suit where she could see his honed upper body.

“Ethan!” Laughing at the beautiful stripper she could take home at any time, Lexi still called out to this one of a kind specimen with a warning look from her dilated eyes.

“What?” Squinting his eyes, Ethan Lu grinned from ear to ear as he slowly took off his inner sleeve— feasting her eyes with his perfect physique. “You don’t like it?”

“I do appreciate your body babe but go shower— I don’t want you to catch a cold.” Rolling her eyes, Lexi slightly shook her head with a faint chuckle along with her sentence.

“Did you just call me babe?!” Widening his eyes and if possible his ears, Ethan Lu blinked numerous times as he just realized that Lexi also addressed him with an endearment earlier which he overlooked since he was preoccupied with Louis Lu’s involvement in Morris Liu’s incident. However, now that she called him ‘babe’, he was able to recall her endearment earlier as well.
