Ethan Lu watched her gobble up different dishes like a glutton. He could not help his face twitched with amusement as he witnessed another side of Lexi.

“Hey, no one’s stealing your food — Ay!” He reminded but at the same time, Lexi let out a series of coughs while patting her chest.

Ethan Lu slid the glass of water near her which she downed without a second of hesitation. Just when Lexi gulped down the stuck food on her throat, she raised her head to the man across her.

“Cheat day.”

“Wow, I don’t even eat like that on my cheat day.” Unconvinced, Ethan Lu unenthusiastically responded while he rested his chin on the back of his hand. Unlike her, Ethan Lu had only lost his appetite due to his lack of sleep and a little headache because of it.

“Whatever, mind your own business ok?” Lexi sassed and resumed on her unusual eating habits — ignoring the languid man with her.

Granting that she is indeed starving, Lexi needed to gain weight as much as possible for the damn side quests.

Being shunned, Ethan slid his hand in his pocket and reached for his phone. Seeing different emails from his friends, important and unimportant people, he decided to browse on his weibo account.

Knitting his brows on the section of Lexi’s ongoing scandal, something inside him felt insulted by the unsightly harsh baseless comments regarding her slutty attitude. Ethan Lu silently grinded his teeth in annoyance as he could not read any further. If he didn’t know her, Ethan wouldn’t care but he knew the person more than her bashers!

Despite that he wasn’t that active on his social media account, Ethan Lu still has considerable amount of followers since he did some modeling before out of boredom. Moreover, being the heir of the Lu family, Ethan was considered famous. Thus, whenever he posted something, it was always being noticed.

Opening his camera, Ethan Lu sneakily took a photo of their heavy meal. Parts of the photo had a glimpse of Lexi’s slender fingers but for him, it was the perfect photo he needed.

While Lexi wasn’t aware of what he was doing, Ethan posted the photo with a caption;

“Heavy breakfast for the glutton~ struggles of being a friend 101 #nomoredrinkingforher #cheatday #monsterappetite”

Ethan Lu glanced at the oblivious Lexi and a subtle smile formed on the side of his lips, before he posted the photo. After he put down his phone, his meek smile grew bigger into a sketchy grin.

Sensing the odd aura enveloped around him, Lexi raised her gaze at him but to no avail, she had no clue what’s on his mind. After all, he was always like that, hence, she shrugged the matter off.

On the other hand, Churu covered her mouth to suppress her laughter as she read what Ethan Lu posted. For some reason, she doesn’t want to spoil Lexi from Ethan Lu’s sneak surprise because it also made her want to see Lexi’s reaction if she saw his post.

“You… you really don’t remember anything last night?” Though he already asked this earlier, Ethan Lu wanted to confirm it one more time. After all, she played with his comrade down there and also betrayed him at the same time.

“Is there something to remember?”

“No, nothing…” Hearing how normal her response were, Ethan Lu slowly nodded in understanding.

For him, it was probably the best for them that she didn’t remember what happened last night because he’s afraid that she won’t show herself from him ever again.

After all, aside from calling her a ‘Sissy’, and telling him ‘I love you’, she walked around naked and even touched his manhood! How could she retain her friendship with him if she did extreme deeds last night? So, he might as well suffer alone from that experience than entirely losing her.

Certainly, Ethan Lu valued this connection between him and Lexi more than he had with any girls.

“Don’t you ever, as in never drink again. You’re the worst.” Ethan Lu heavily sighed as he felt frustrated again, recalling the trauma last night. He reached for his warm cup of tea and took a sip to comfort his throbbing head.

“I know. The last time I got this nearly drunk, I almost killed Mia Chen.” Lexi nonchalantly admitted, not offended by his honest remarks.

*coughs*

This time, Ethan nearly spilled his tea by her statement. He had heard a few gossip about Lexi but not this one which caught him off guard.

Lexi arched her brows from his reaction. Ultimately, that was her last reckless attempt for Morris Liu’s attention and also the reason why the said man’s last straw of patience snapped.

“What? You don’t know?”

“Heck, how would I know? You were like a taboo from everyone’s mouth!” Ethan aggressively dissed after he wiped the blotches of tea on his chin. He added with a glare and frown,

“What did you exactly do to her?”

“Well, I… attempted to smash her small frame by my car — shocking, right?” Lexi awkwardly confessed while examining the different reaction from him.

Well, she wasn’t surprised to see his speechless reaction since she already shocked the world from that incident.

“Wow, you really said it chu…” Churu calmly commented on the side as she watched Ethan Lu’s unreadable albeit ugly expression plastered across his face.
