Ethan Lu was appalled as for a second he felt a paramount force from behind; as if someone pushed him which made him and Lexi crash on top of the soft mattress.

But what shook him to the core is that he was on top of Lexi for pete sake! His palms placed on both sides but still, Lexi was snuggling on his neck!

Is this a test between friendship? Or rather, is this a test to his morality? For a minute, Ethan could not find the words to utter as he was completely speechless. Is it the fact that he was on top of her or she called him a sissy, or her hugging his neck?

God knows how distressing his situation. It is as if he was slowly was receiving his retribution from all his bad deeds in the past.

“Chichichi, don’t be ungrateful and receive the love that was meant for me chu~! Churu giggled as she humored about Lexi snuggling him like a kitten knowing it was Churu.

“Stop…” Ethan slightly draws his head back as he turned to Lexi, alas, his agravate words ceased again by the inch length distant they had between them.

“…calling me that.” Ethan body heat gradually rose for some manly reason. Though her breath had a touch of alcohol, it was somehow arousing his inner beast!

‘Shiiit! !’ He cursed inwardly. His long curses were so extreme that it should be censored. This only showed how exasperated he was but he doesn’t want to be rough hence, he couldn’t pull his neck from her relaxed arms that were wrapped around it… or rather, deep down, he actually liked it.

“Hehe, you’re so cutee~” Lexi loosened her grip from him earlier but tightened it again due to his dismayed expression. She could see that the human size dumpling was shy being showered with physical affection which made her lips curled into a mischievous grin.

“Love you.” Surely, Lexi’s drunken state was too naughty pushing Ethan to his last straw of resistance.

‘Fuck!!!’ Ethan gasped in disbelief hearing her say the destructive words that are supposed to be magical. This time, Ethan needed to run or else, Lexi would run away from him after this night!

He wiggled his neck to escape this drunken demoness. However, Lexi was too persistent which left him with no choice but to use his other hand while the other supporting his body weight.

However, his decision of using his arm backfired on him as Lexi weighed him down and dragged her on her side.

“Hey –” By the next second, Lexi’s love that was meant for Churu caused Ethan’s mind to malfunction.

She kissed the apex of his nose that nearly made Ethan’s soul evacuate his body. She grinned when Ethan’s jaw gaped open and his eyes widened as he didn’t expect that she would go to the extreme.

The notification from the system popped out but was rendered shun as the host doesn’t care about her surroundings aside from teasing Churu but was Ethan Lu instead.

“Woah, we gained a lot tonight chuu~!” Churu nodded in awe as she flew on the table near the floor to length window to give the lovebirds privacy. She only needed tea to enjoy the view outside from Ethan’s presidential suite.

“It’s so beautiful to be in love chuu~” She murmurs with a satisfied smile. Churu was happy for the progress of the two despite the irritating emotional barrier they had.

Regardless, Churu only wanted for her host to receive the love that she deserves that she never found from Morris Liu.

Surely, love might be a double edge sword if one chose the wrong person. However, with the right and fitted person, everything would work at the end. Churu anticipates when the time that not only Ethan Lu discovered his feelings but also Lexi.

Morris Liu swirled the glass of whiskey in his hand as he peered at the night sky full of stars. Leaning on his executive chair, he sighed heavily.

He kept recalling Ethan’s action towards Lexi. Also, the difference between Lexi’s gaze to him and Ethan.

He never realized it before but now, he finally understood what are those hateful gaze she bore to others that would disappear when it comes to him.

“Brother Morris, I saw Lexi with Ethan Lu earlier.” Out of nowhere, a gentle voice of a woman reached his ear. The delicate and beautiful woman strode on the side of Morris Liu’s desk — keeping her distance.

Receiving no response from the icy cold man, the woman added, “Why are you so hard on yourself?”

“Mia…” Morris Liu’s intimidating tone immediately made Mia Chen pursed her lips.

Morris Liu slowly spun his chair to Mia Chen’s direction. He peered at her with a colder gaze which made her shoulder tremble.

“Get out.”

“But –“

“The scandal you spread about her, don’t think I didn’t know.” Morris Liu interrupted Mia Chen’s protest with a deadly tone that instantly engulfed his own office with dark auras that soon spread throughout the whole company. He added,
