“Huh? What… Kyaaaaah~!!!” Churu flinched when she heard the system’s notification. She thought it was another allure points but to her surprise, the news was more than that!

Who would have thought that this reckless moved Lexi risked was actually the last straw of Ethan’s emotions? However, reading further data from the system, Churu’s jubilant expression gradually turned sour.

She darted her unenthusiastic gaze from the system then to Ethan; she had done it a couple of times before she let out a heavy sigh.

Flying in front of Ethan, seemingly blocking his view, Churu took a long inhale as if accumulating all her energy along with it and when she exhaled, a loud vexed protest came out along.

“What the hell chu! You fell in love but still so stubborn to accept it chu!! GRRRR! How could you chu! You dated too many girls chu!! Too many as in too many to count chu! Can’t you tell the difference chu?! Dumb! dumb! dumb! Ethan Lu chu!” Churu stomped on Ethan Lu’s forehead in frustration.

However, despite being irked by Ethan’s dense feelings, Churu somehow understood. For someone like Ethan who had never experienced sincere love before, he might have deluded himself of thinking that he was only infatuated with Lexi. But still, Churu could not help but feel discontent about it.

Meanwhile, Lexi just downed another can of beer when the system’s status report came out. Hence, her sight was spinning like crazy which made her unable to read what she had gained. Blinking slowly to have a clear sight, but to no avail, her mind gave in and she passed out!

Ethan Lu’s brows knitted hearing a body crashing on the floor. He turned his head to Lexi’s direction and saw that she was wasted as hell. Fortunately, her coat was perfectly placed on the side that protected her head from inflicting wounds.

Ethan Lu supported his body by his elbow as he sighed in distress. Glancing at the six empty can of beers scattered on Lexi’s knees, he shook his head in defeat.

“How can I send you home in your state?” Thinking of her parents’ worried faces if they saw her. Indeed, Ethan was placed in a complicated situation.

After all, Lexi just recently ‘attempted’ suicide and it might reopen the wound in their hearts. He was too fond of her family that Ethan doesn’t want to worry them because of Lexi’s unpredictable decision tonight.

“Jeez, Lexi Yang… don’t ever drink with other men or else –” Ethan mumbled as he rose from his seat, alas, his sentence stopped midway as he realized what he was about to say.

“Or else what chu? Or else you’ll get all jelly?! Hahaha —! Ohh, will get jelly? Jelly jelly jelly?” Churu grumpily sassed but as if an idea popped on her great mind, a mischievous grin plastered across her face.

Ethan ruffled his hair just with the thought flashed across his mind before he began taking threads towards Lexi’s lying figure. When he reached her standpoint, he squatted down and let another heavy sigh. This was probably the night that he sighed countless of times.

“Aish, this is frustrating… but, why can’t I blame you for it?” He murmured as he scanned Lexi’s side profile.

Sliding his hand in his pocket, Ethan grabbed his smartphone and speed-dialed his 24/7 assistant’s phone. It only took three rings before the line went through despite how late it was.

“Y- young master?” A weary and distressed voice of a man was heard on the line.

“Call someone to clean up the mess in Grand Hotel’s rooftop. Thanks, man, you the best.” Ethan commanded, not letting the man on the line respond as he cut off the line.

If this happened before with a different girl, Ethan would probably call his assistant to help the girl get home. However, this time is different because it was Lexi! Hence, he wanted to take responsibility to return the favor her family and Lexi did when he was injured.

“This is driving me crazy… you are driving me crazy.” Ethan sighed again before carrying her on his arms in a bridal style.
