Epic Of Bee Chapter 217

Suddenly, a window Alert appeared in my HUD that surprised me. I had forgotten entirely about my tasks, but I didn't know if I would get them this time, but it seems that they have changed.
[Anomalous World Task] Activated!
[Name]: Bloody Bug Juice for Bill!
[Task Description]: Collect:
{0/10 Blood Sacs}
{0/10 Nectar Hexes}
[Reward]: 1 Targeted Gene-Based Skill of current Genes active. Gains access to the Alpha Vampire and grants you favor with him.
Where was I getting these sacs and hexes to carry all this liquid? Also, where was I going to put it when I did get it?
"What is that thing floating in front of you?" One of the Thrulls asked me, pointing to the Anomalous World Task window.
I was surprised, but then Helaina poked her head around me and made an ah sound like she was powering up.
"You-you, you're the, wait, no, God-Tech, yeah, wait, what?! Waaaaaa?!" Helaina burst out and then started another power-up.
I turned to look at Helaina, but this time the attempt at Super Sayian was in a questioning tone. I had a hard time taking her seriously right now because of how cute she looked with the level of confusion.
Still, I was not going to talk about it with her. Instead, I just smiled at her and closed the window.
I turned away from her and then looked at the two Thrulls. The two looked a bit shaken, but I needed some info from them before I started.
"Does it matter what kind of bug? Will Giant Centi-Sects work, or does it have to be a specific type?" I asked them, and they both shook their heads no.
"Doesn't matter, we are just used to Bug Blood, and we stay alive with the Nectar. If we don't have the Nectar, we can't go outside because a bit of light through cloth will cause our skin to burn and blister very quickly," The first Thrulls explained, and I nodded.

The Nectar allowed them to be a part of the world if they chose, but that meant that they knew how to get to the light. I would get this task done, and then we get out of here, and hopefully with more people as well.
"You all have seen the task that I have been given to help you, so let your people know or wait for me, but I think it will take a little bit. I only have found five in the three miles that the OpsBees have mapped, but I have more routes being mapped out. The tunnels in this place are massive; just how far are we from the light?" I asked at the end of my speech.
"Five, maybe six days if you walked, but I think you and your cat and pet Wasp could make it in two with the proper maps. You will have to talk to Bill about that, though, when you are done. My name is Maurice, and this is Hamble; I hope you don't mind if we tag along, I should report how this goes, and we could help as a guide for some of the things non-monster down here," Maurice, the first Slug Folk told me, and I was a bit hesitant about having them follow us.
Not because I was worried about them attacking us, but I was concerned about them keeping up. There was a large part of the caves open to me now, and we would be able to move a lot faster.
"Yes, that is fine if you want to follow, but you will have to keep up. There is a lot of ground to cover in order for me to get all the blood, and there will be more than just Bugs that we will be fighting," I said, already counting three groups of slime, two small Behemoths, and something that destroyed three OpsBees that had tried to scan it.

"We can keep up, but we will follow from behind because we will leave a bit of a trail," Hamble said with a smile as he started to slide around on his strange pancake feet that almost looked like tree stumps.
Hamble left a greasy coating on the ground, and I focused on it, and a small scan of it started.
[Biological Item: Slug Slime]
[Uses]: Component in lubrication recipes.
[Gene: Water-Based]
That was a weird scan. I hoped that most of the recipes were for motor parts, but what was with the Water-Based Gene? Why would I give anyone a Gene like that?
"That's kind of cool, I mean, I have heard of God-Tech, and the Users have incredible abilities, but this is what I think is interesting. I can actually see the things that you can, and I never knew that about my slime. That would make sense why it dries up so fast when we go deeper, and it gets warmer," Maurice said while looking down at his feet.
"Yes, but we should get going; there is much to do, and I need to get back to the surface as soon as possible. As we walk, can you tell me if you know anything about the Lost Temple of Rai Cait? The Meccat God?" I asked, turning back to a sulking Helaina.
She looked dejected and ignored. Both of these were my fault, but it was the way it had to be for now.
"Sorry, until I can fix whatever is preventing me from scanning you, I can't talk or explain anything I think is important. It is enough that you know what you do, but I can not give you any more than that," I explained, and Helaina sighs, so I put a hand on her hand and extend my GraviBees field to include Helaina.
Helaina clutched at me as if we had gone higher than the ceiling in this twelve-foot-tall tunnel we were in. We had not entered the cave, and we lifted no more than a foot off the ground.
"H-how are y-you do t-this!" Helaina cried in a shaking voice, clutching on to me for dear life.
"Is she going to be okay? And can we get going already? I am starting to get hungry," Thanos complained, and I rolled my eyes at him and then motioned him forward.

The Flesh and Blood Dungeon
This is not the usual dungeon core story. I did not originally plan to make it humorous, but, well, you'll see. This fiction will not turn into a story about a bunch of adventurers who enter a giant boars anus looking for treasure. No promises tho.

RETURN, A Dark Lord story.
Return, Synopsis In the Triangulum Galaxy, one of a number of galaxies controlled by the Empire of The DARK LORD, JENNA OF CHRISTOS finds herself on the run after she killed a patrolman. Becoming pilot on a pirate craft, several years later she and other pirates are devastated by attacks of the Imperial Legion and are now trying to regroup. Seeking funds that will help them hide out for a time, their leader THURGOD DRISTA and JENNA meet with a PROFESSOR of galactic history who gives them information, a map and an ancient artifact described as a singing stone. He tells them that this could lead them safely to a legendary treasure trove, called THE DARK LORDS HOARD, on the forbidden planet TRILLA. The hoard is supposed to belong to the ruler of the empire who vanished close to one thousand years before and is presumed to be gone. The treasure is believed to be hidden in a tunnel accessible from the planet surface but no one who has gone into the tunnel has ever come out alive or sane. Leaving the pirate hideout immediately after the meeting and avoiding a major attack by the legion, the pirates travel to the galactic rim for supplies and to leave a false trail. With them they take the PROFESSOR and ILISA, a serving girl. However CAPTAIN TRASKA the commander of a Legions task force called Detachment T, has guessed the pirates intentions and tracked them to the rim. The pirates leave on their next leg to TRILLA unaware that CAPTAIN TRASKA with his force of heavy cruisers, is already there and lying in wait for them. Allowing the pirates to land, including an unexpected second pirate ship, CAPTAIN TRASKA sends a force of troopers to capture both craft and their guards. Before they can do this, THURGOD, the PROFESSOR and others, numbering thirteen altogether and led by JENNA entered the tunnel complex. JENNA, warned by ILISA that she must be the one to hold the singing stone, carries it in the hope that it will guide her and her companions past the many dangers in the tunnel. Shortly afterward, VIS VISTRICER the Legions overall commander travels to Trilla in an armoured planetoid, a spacecraft as large as a moon. On his arrival at TRILLA, VIS VISTRICER meets with CAPTAIN TRASKA but before they can do much, they are both surprised by one of the LADIES OF THE CIRCLE who is waiting for the outcome of what is happening in the tunnels. In the tunnels, JENNA leads THURGOD and the rest of party through many dangers and tests. Four are killed in the tunnels but the rest finally come to their goal where, to their surprise, in a cavern they meet the DARK LORD who is alive and very well. He has been waiting for them so he can return to the Empire. JENNA finds out that the patrol officer is alive and that she and many others have been manipulated all this time by the DARK LORD. She also finds out that ILISA, whose real name is JURA, is a member of the CIRCLE OF LADIES and was sent to teach JENNA many years before on her home planet of Christos. The DARK LORD restores and fulfills a promise to release JURA from her service as a LADY. He next has each pirate declare their own fate and takes them to the surfaces of TRILLA. There, at their election, he executes two of the pirates while JENNA is pardoned and some have the death penalty reprieved. The rest will face the courts of the Legion. VIS VISTRICER is raised to the rank of STAR COMMANDER, the highest rank in the Legion while TRASKA becomes a COMMODORE. The DARK LORD returns to Tihab, the administrative centre of the empire. There he takes up his residence in a surprised and disconcerted imperial palace. JENNA is returned by COMMODORE TRASKA to the planet Christos where she is welcomed by the planets rulers and her family, some of whom were aware of some of what was happening.

The Traveler
Reincarnated with no information other than a single mysterious message, little Damian must survive as an infant in a world of might and magic. He’d better not get caught possessing his memories, or he might spend a thousand years suffering. Being a baby in another world is weird, disorientating, scary, disgusting, and also heartwarming. It doesn’t just happen for no reason, but the “why?” might be a harder puzzle to solve than conquering the whole entire realm. Both of those eventualities were very remote possibilities for an unusually smart baby. He was more concerned with making it to his first birthday without being damned by the gods or eaten by dangerous monster.
