Xie Yuansheng was very happy to see Keira and the two of them chatted for some time. There was absolutely no remorse about the incident that happened between him and Kate because Keira could never blame Xie Yuansheng for how things turned up as he was going through a memory loss phase during that time and it was her sister who pursued him knowing fully well that he was married. In fact she was guilty that an incident like that even occurred. Since the topic was very touchy, no one talked about it. Keira was happy that Kate had been sent to America already. She wasn't aware that Xie Shengjun had ensured that Kate would never return to China in her life.

Since it was an emergency ward, they all couldn't talk much hence they had to come out soon but the couple promised to visit Keira as often as possible. When they came out Xie Shengjun said, "I will come and discuss all the details with you soon."

"Okay Brother," said Xie Yuansheng and gave him a bear hug after which he left with Feng Xinying.

On his way back, he asked Feng Xinying, "Are you going to the doctor regularly? How is my baby doing? I so miss talking to her."

"mHmm…" she replied. "He also misses you."

"What do you mean 'He'? Did you get the sex of the baby determined?"

Feng Xinying sighed and said, "No… but why are you saying 'She'?"

"That's because when I talk to my baby, she speaks back with me and so I know that your tummy has my baby girl."

Feng Xinying shook her head at his illogical reasoning. She sighed again.

Xie Yuansheng smiled thinking that she has agreed to his reasoning. He took her arm and tucked it in his arm loop while walking out. There was a feeling of security and love, something that he felt he had missed for a long time.

Shu Jing Min and Jiao Long had again gone to their country farmhouse. They were still in hiding from Ah Jun. When they went back, Shu Jing Min was in a very foul mood. He shouted at Jiao Long for being extremely incompetent. He said that it all happened because he married a stupid woman like her. Jiao Long retorted back saying that she did the biggest mistake of her life by marrying him. The quarrel was endless ever since they had returned with each of them blaming the other. The kids were very scared. The two daughters stayed in their rooms and the fifteen year old son stayed in his. They were avoiding the parents because they knew the moment they would get into the argument they would also not be spared.

It was the next day when Jiao Long was making breakfast along with her two daughters that there was a sudden break-in in their country farmhouse and ten people entered it. They were all masked and laced with guns and cuffs. Seeing them enter the house, Jiao Long shouted, but she was soon pinned to the ground and cuffed. A black colored sack was put on her face. She started shouting for help. The two daughters were extremely scared. They tried to reach their mother but both of them were thrown across the floor by the masked men.

Hearing those shouts, Shu Jing Min came out of his room in his pajamas. He was shocked to see what was going on. As soon as he came, the masked men pointed their guns at him.

"What are you doing?" he shouted.

One of the men came to him and said, "Taking you away. Orders from our boss." That man came and put the gun right on his temple while another one came from behind and handcuffed him.

"Leave me!" he shouted as he struggled to get free but two more men had come and even he was pinned to the ground.

"Who is your boss?" he asked when those men pressed his face to the ground.

"That you needn't know," he replied. Suddenly even he found his face covered with a black cloth.

"Stop it! Release us," he shouted again.

It was at this time that their son came out. He was aghast to see what was happening. He ran to his father, but the masked men pointed their guns at him, which made him stop in his tracks.

He screamed, "Father, Mother!"

Shu Jing Min became afraid that his son would be harmed too, so he shouted at his son, "Go back inside now." The voice that came out of his covered face was muffled but his son could make out what his father was speaking.

"Father, who are they and why are they taking you away?" he asked feeling scared.

"Go back inside Jing Quo!" this time it was his mother.

Jing Quo's sisters ran to him and tried to drag him inside the room. The masked man who was holding their father said, "We have nothing against the kids. Our orders are very clear and we have to pick the two of you only. However, if your kids are going to create havoc or they go to the police, we will kill them."

"No, no, they will not go to the police. Please leave them," said Jiao Long who was becoming panicky as the minutes passed.

"Okay," said the man and then all of them exited the house along with their captives.

While leaving, Shu Jing Min shouted to his kids, "Don't go to the police and stay safe."

The three children looked helplessly as the masked men dragged their parents outside the house.

"Father, Father, Mother!" the three of them kept saying as they watched them leave.

Once they were out of the house, the couple was hurled into a car that had tinted glasses.

"If you shout, we will shoot the two of you in an instant, so stay quiet and cooperate with us," said the man who appeared to be their leader.

The car started. The journey ended after about an hour and the two of them were taken to a place that smelled dingy.

Shu Jing Min asked again, "Can you tell us who is your boss?" He suspected that it was Ah Jun who was doing all this and he was ready to negotiate with him by giving him his sixteen year old daughter.

"You don't have to know who our boss is. Stay here until we hear what has to be done with you," said the leader and locked the room after uncovering their faces.
