Over the next two days Xie Yuansheng was very quiet. He didn't interact with anyone as freely as he used to. Feng Xinying had stopped going to the office completely. She could see that he was becoming depressed a lot. He would go to the kitchen and keep sitting instead of making any food. Scared that his mental well-being was going down, Feng Xinying thought of a plan to cheer him up and to get him out of depression. She called Cai Xin and prepared a nice plan to go out on a date with him. 

That day she went to his room as usual and opened the door without hesitation. She found him sulking on a chair by the table. He looked like a sad puppy with his head resting on the table. She went near him and stroked his hair. She said, "Shengu, would you like to go on a date with me?" 

Not getting up, he turned his head towards her with a tinge of excitement in his eyes. "Let's go!" she said as she tugged at his shirtsleeve. 

"Where are we going?" he asked like a small child.

This time Feng Xinying didn't say that it was a surprise. She didn't want to make him feel like the last time. She had thought that taking him to his old house would help him instead it deteriorated his health. "Cai Xin has arranged everything. She said that these days some fantastic and exotic tours are being arranged by the travel companies, which offer tours of villages."

"Village?" said Xie Yuansheng a little loudly. He somehow thought that it was a lame idea to go on a village tour and that too on a date.

Feng Xinying read his mind and chuckled. "Trust me, this is going to be a nice one." 

Xie Yuansheng wasn't convinced. He went back to resting his head on his hands on the table. Feng Xinying said, "Xie Yuansheng, you better get dressed if you want to come with me. I will be going in half an hour and might not come back for the day. There are few office colleagues going out with me too."

Xie Yuansheng looked up when he heard 'office colleagues' and asked, "Men or women?"

Feng Xinying didn't say anything and in a very mysterious manner, smiled, which left Xie Yuansheng thinking all sorts of wild things. In a minute he was up and about, "I am going to come with you but just because you need protection." 

Feng Xinying turned around as a grin appeared on her face. She said, "Okay" and went out to get dressed.

When Feng Xinying came down, she thought that she would cancel the trip if he weren't ready to go. What was the point of leaving him alone? Even she wouldn't have enjoyed. However, when she reached the main hall, she saw him sitting on the sofa in a blue jeans and a yellow shirt with a white sweater. He had shampooed his hair and hence they were all falling flat on his forehead. He looked handsome and Feng Xinying was captivated by the sheer gorgeousness of her husband. She stared at him with hungry eyes as she walked towards him. 

He smiled and said, "I am ready to go!"

She nodded and held his hand. Soon they were in the car on the way to the village tour. The instructions were already given to the driver. 

The first stop was a fruit picking farm. The car stopped in front of a farm where they grew peaches, apricots, apples and strawberries. At first Xie Yuansheng made a long face as to where had they come? He looked at Feng Xinying and said, "What kind of boring date is this Xinying – a farm? Also where are the rest of your colleagues? You said some office people were also going?" 

Feng Xinying looked at him after stepping out of the car. She replied, "Shengu, what kind of a date would it be if I also allow office people to come with me? I mean out of all, office people? You must be dreaming!" 

Xie Yuansheng's eyes became wide. "But you said that."

"No, I didn't! You must be dreaming." Feng Xinying walked ahead saying that with a wide grin on her face. She entered the farm's gate. The farmers knew who was coming and so the owner of the farm ran to her. They greeted the two of them and bowed a lot. Very rarely did such rich people came to his farm. He gave them red baskets to collect fruits and asked them to follow a narrow path inside the farm. Feng Xinying walked inside and Xie Yuansheng followed her. 

Although Xie Yuansheng was not very happy with the idea of coming to a farm but when he went inside, and looked around him, he loved the vast expanse of land dotted with various fruit trees around him. The air was scented with peachy fragrance. Fresh juicy red apples were hanging on the trees. As they walked inside the first thing they noticed was a large number of apple trees. While Feng Xinying kept walking feeling the fresh air around her, Xie Yuansheng became so excited that he started plucking apples. 

Feng Xinying was very careful not to strain herself as her fourth month was about to get over and she was going to enter the fifth month of pregnancy. The doctor had said that her waist would start increasing in the fifth month. She thought of telling about it to Xie Yuansheng because she had hidden it from him. He would soon notice and might not take it nicely. Once again she was in a dilemma. In her thoughts she continued to walk and didn't pluck any fruit. 

Meanwhile, Xie Yuansheng was not having enough of it. He loved chomping on the apples and collecting them. Soon they reached apricot trees. Once again Xie Yuansheng went wild plucking them. He thought of making an apricot jam and so he took Feng Xinying's basket also and started filling it. Feng Xinying laughed at him. She could see that he enjoyed it thoroughly. 

Xie Yuansheng walked to her and held her hand. Together they walked a little more while talking sweet nothings and holding their baskets. 

"Xinying, you look like this apple!" he said pointing to the one he was eating.

"You mean I am that fat and unshapely?"

"No, I mean you are as red and juicy." 

She blushed. 

Xie Yuansheng frowned a little and said, "Let me rephrase, your breasts are as juicy as this. Remind me to eat them and suck the juices tonight." 

She left his hand and punched him on his shoulder. "You pervert!"
