Ah Jun was perplexed because Shu Jing Min had said that Shu Ning would go back with him, so where did she go at 10:30AM. He looked at Shu Jing Min and said, "She is not at home…"

"What do you mean she is not at home?" replied Jing Min. This girl was giving him so many problems that he wanted to slap her tight. To save his face he said, "Oh! Then she must have gone to your house already. You see she is also so eager." Saying that he started laughing nervously.

Ah Jun looked relaxed and faint smile broke on his face. "Yes, that is possible," he said. "In that case, let me call at my place and find out," he added with a grin.

However, when he called at home, his servants informed that she hadn't come home. Now Shu Jing Min became slightly nervous.

Meanwhile Feng Xinying just stared at them with a blank expression. They both looked anxious. After a while she said, "I think she must have gone to a mall to buy things. Don't worry, she must be fine," said Feng Xinying.

Not convinced, Shu Jing Min called Shu Ning. Seeing them busy, Feng Xinying turned her gaze to Xie Shengjun and started showing him papers. He took out a paper from his coat's inner pocket and showed it to Feng Xinying, which brought a big smile on her face.

It was at this point Shu Jing Min's phone rang. He picked it up immediately. "Jing Min, Shu Ning is nowhere to be found. In the morning I got the news that BF had been released from jail yesterday itself. So I am suspecting…"

Shu Jing Min could feel the shiver down his spine. He lambasted at Jiao Long on the phone, "Suspecting what? Tell me now!"

Jiao Long was extremely scared. "I- I think she has r- run away with BF," she stuttered. She knew that Shu Jing Min would hunt down her daughter and kill her. She started crying, "Jing Min, she is a young rebellious child. Please don't mind her. We will promise our second daughter to Ah Jun who will turn sixteen next year."

Shu Jing Min's face became white as a ghost. His lips became dry as he looked from Ah Jun to Feng Xinying to Xie Shengjun. They were all looking at him with questions in their eyes.

He sat down on the sofa with a thud as if life had been sucked out of him. He felt winded as he sucked air around him. Since yesterday morning he had been making plans on how to corner the woman in front of him and then how to get his business back. He was so sure of today. This was his last resort. He had formed so many plans to revive his passion. Now he could imagine all the ships sinking in front of him. It was just too much. The girl had been such a source of trouble that it made him sick. Sweat beads appeared on his forehead as he looked at Ah Jun who was now married to Shu Ning.

This was like a double face slap. One, he could not get his business from Feng Xinying whom he had been pestering to give him the business back by throwing money at her and two, what would he say to his new son-in-law who had agreed to invest only because he wanted to marry Shu Ning. This was a disaster. The future suddenly looked bleak to him.

Ah Jun was looking at Shu Jing Min with suspicious eyes. "Where is Shu Ning?" he asked with narrowed eyes.

Shu Jing Min didn't know what to answer because he was afraid that Ah Jun would create a huge mess in their lives. Ah Jun was a tyrannical man who knew underhand ways to get things done when it became rough. He was good only to a level of being nice when needed. Shu Jing Min was sure that Ah Jun would do something there only, so he kept a hand on his chest and said, "Help!"

Xie Shengjun and Ah Jun both rushed to him seeing that he was collapsing on the sofa. Shu Jing Min closed his eyes but before that he looked at Feng Xinying who was staring at him with very cold expression on her face. It was as if don't mess with me.

Xie Shengjun called some people from outside while Ah Jun redialed the number on which Shu Jing Min was talking.

Thinking that it was Shu Jing Min again, Jiao Long started speaking on phone, "Jing Min, please forgive Shu Ning. She is a young and hot blood. How do you think she could be married to a man who was twice her age and almost her Uncle? I will take responsibility of Shu Ning for running away with BF. We will thoroughly investigate this matter. In fact I was suggesting that you don't say a word about it to Ah Jun and we will find her in the meanwhile. Just tell him that she was feeling nervous and has gone to my sister's place. I have already sent our men to hunt for her."

Ah Jun's face darkened and his brows knitted. "Shu Ning has run away?" he asked.

On the other side, Jiao Long's face turned pale. She had blurted it all out to Ah Jun! She was standing near the sofa shivering like a leaf thinking she was talking to Jing Min but now blood drained out of her brain and she felt numb. "Ah Jun," she cried. "It is not Shu Ning's fault. She is a small child. I will find her by evening today."

Ah Jun disconnected the call as his face turned red with fury. He looked at Shu Jing Min who was being carried out by some employees. Then he looked at Feng Xinying who was looking blank and confused. "What happened Ah Jun?" she asked.

"Ask that Uncle of yours," he replied and threw the phone on the ground. He stomped out of the office swearing at the family who had conned him.

Once the two of them were out and the office doors closed, Feng Xinying broke into laughter and Xie Shengjun smiled at her with his hands on the waist.

"So this was your plan, Feng Xinying?" he asked as he sat on the sofa and opened a bottle of water.

Feng Xinying stopped laughing and a big smile appeared on her face as she looked at the paper in front of her. Those were the papers from court, which said that BF had been released.

Feng Xinying reminisced on what all went in the span of twenty-four hours. She had already thought of ten steps ahead. She had asked Xie Shengjun to withdraw case against BF. As soon as he was out, he had gone home where he had informed his band members. They in turn informed Shu Ning in the morning because she wasn't picking phone that day. When Shu Ning heard, she had contacted Xie Shengjun to thank him for his generosity and asked him to help her. She wanted to be with BF forever. Xie Shengjun helped generously. He facilitated her escape from her house along with BF to a different country where Shu Jing Min would never be able to find them. He told her never to call back home, or else both Shu Jing Min's and Ah Jun's men won't spare her and BF.

He looked at Feng Xinying. She had one of the cleverest minds on the earth. Dangerously clever. She had turned the tables in her favor so devilishly.
