Kate held her face that was burning with the loud slap that Keira had just given her. Xie Shengjun was standing right beside Keira and he looked at Kate with so much contempt that Kate could feel that he might have murdered her had she not been Keira's sister. When her gaze fell on the people behind them, she saw her parents and her eyes grew wide with fear.

A day back when Feng Xinying had announced that she would give the party for Kate, she had her plans ready as soon as Kate agreed to it. The first thing she did was to call Keira. She invited her and said, "Keira, today Kate was here and I came to know that she will be joining a university in America soon. So I thought of giving her a party. She wanted to call us outside along with her friends but she is just like my sister, so I thought of going that extra length. I hope it is okay with you."

Keira was so happy when she heard Feng Xinying. "Feng Xinying, you are so sweet. Thank you so much."

"No, there is no thank you between friends. In fact I want Xie Shengjun and you to come over and be a part of the happy occasion," replied Feng Xinying with honeyed voice.

"Of course!" said a buoyant Keira. She felt how lucky she was to have a friend like Feng Xinying who thought so much for Kate also.

Then Feng Xinying called Kate's parents and said the same thing. She also asked all of them not to tell it to Kate and give her a surprise. Hence when her mother had asked her why was she choosing the dress, she did not tell her that she already knew what she was choosing the dress for.

Once these two important calls were done, Feng Xinying called one of the best decorators in the city for the decoration in order to give it a grand look. She was of the opinion, the grander the look, the bitter the insult would be, and she was ready to give it back to Kate.

Feng Xinying made it sure that she wore a sexy outfit that day. She wanted to look like a diva in front of Xie Yuansheng and Kate's friends. She wanted to look very beautiful, elegant and innocent. Well, she was an actress and a model, so that was easy.

She had called Xie Yuansheng in her bedroom an hour before to help him select a suit for the evening. She had ordered outside caterers for the food, hence he was pretty free. He selected a black suit and she helped him silently to wear his suit. She even helped him styling his hair while he helped her wearing her dress.

By the time he helped her drape the dress he was left wanting her. His eyes lusted after her and she knew that he had caught her bait for the evening. She was pretty confident that he would not look at Kate now. When she went down, she held his hand on purpose to stir up his feelings further and at the same time make Kate jealous. She did everything possible in her hand to make him look at her. She would move with grace and bosom held out. Her curves were out of the world unlike an average girl. So even though he was sitting with Kate, it was Feng Xinying who had full control over his mind. He could only see her the entire time and she knew it.

Feng Xinying was the perfect hostess to all of Kate's friends. She was personally going to all of them and telling them to eat or dance with a charming smile.

Since Kate was too hung up in Xie Yuansheng, she wasn't attending them at all and this did not go unnoticed by them.

Feng Xinying went to Kate to tell her to join her friends for a dance when she saw Keira, Xie Shengjun and her parents entering the venue. Feng Xinying was gambling on her luck to make Kate angry. So when Kate flared up, this was the time to act nicely like a victim.

Kate hurled all insults at Feng Xinying unbeknownst of the fact that her sister and parents were standing behind and listening to her. When she finished, Feng Xinying started crying like a sufferer. Xie Yuansheng immediately enveloped her in his arms feeling terrible that it all happened because he wanted the party to be in Feng Mansion.

Keira looked at her with disdain, "Kate, I didn't expect you to be so pathetic in life. You are trying to attract Xie Yuansheng towards you knowing fully well that he is Feng Xinying's husband. Feng Xinying gave a party for you in your honor and this is how you return her back. You shameful girl, this is what we have taught you? You have shamed our parents by this lowly act. Didn't you even think once that I am married to Xie Yuansheng's brother?"

Kate's mother came forward and she slapped her again on the other cheek. Kate started crying uncontrollably. She looked at all of them. "You should be grateful that Xie Shengjun is giving money for your education and instead you come and try to steal his brother? You imbecile! You have shamed me in front of these people and you have embarrassed yourself in front of your friends."

Her father was fuming with anger. He said, "You will leave for America tomorrow itself. I will arrange for some small course for you to join before you join your graduation classes."

Kate looked at Feng Xinying who was crying on Xie Yuansheng's chest. "So this is what she meant when she said I will be going to America soon," thought Kate. Feng Xinying was too intelligent for a girl like her. She was finished even before she started. While Kate was thinking that, she saw that Feng Xinying gave her a side glance and smirked. So this was a well planned strategy! She wanted to expose Feng Xinying but how could she? This was the perfect trap.

Xie Yuansheng looked at Feng Xinying. He lifted her chin and wiped her tears away. "I am sorry," he whispered. He hugged her tightly feeling horrible. What had he done? He wanted to kiss her madly. Suddenly he picked her up in his arms and walked out of that place. He headed towards the bedroom as she held him as if he was her life.
