In Kate's mind, people like her who belonged to high society were very proud with an upper stiff lip. They looked down upon others as if they were scum on earth. At one point of time Kate wondered how could Feng Xinying be so beautiful. She must have gone under the knife to look pretty. Feng Xinying's presence gave her an unpleasant feeling. She was having so much fun with Xie Yuansheng and she had decided to go with him when he insisted that he wanted to go back home. She had asked as to why he wanted to go so urgently amidst fun, but all he said was that it was getting pretty late.

Feng Xinying looked at her with confusion. She thought that perhaps she might have met Xie Yuansheng somewhere during his outing and asked for a ride back home.

"Actually Brother Xie Yuansheng and me spent a day out together," she said in a way to make Feng Xinying feel jealous.

Feng Xinying froze. She looked at Kate from top to bottom and then looked at Xie Yuansheng. "You two spent a day out…" she asked. When her gaze fell on Kate again, Kate felt a little uncomfortable. She started looking down and lightly tugged Xie Yuansheng's shirtsleeve, which was noticed by Feng Xinying.

What was going on with Kate? Didn't she know that they were married or was it that she was interested in Xie Yuansheng? How could this be? Out of all people how could Kate do something this immoral? Was she out of her mind? She wanted to chide her but then thought that this was too delicate a matter. She was Keira's sister and if she had gone to this extent that she was getting interested in Xie Yuansheng, then it was possible that she might create misunderstanding between her and Keira.

While she was thinking all that, Xie Yuansheng saw all those documents in her hand and asked, "Where are you going?" He noticed that the car was waiting for her.

Feng Xinying was feeling terrible. She narrowed her eyes at Kate and at the same time she couldn't blame her husband. Tears started forming again but she fought them off. How could she show them that she was so fragile? She ignored his sentence and said to Kate, "I hope you two had fun."

"Yes, we had loads of fun! First we went for gaming and then we went to the Entertainment Park," replied Kate as if she was scoring points against Feng Xinying. She had caught Xie Yuansheng's shirtsleeve tightly.

Feng Xinying was very dejected. She had hoped for him to be with her for the doctor's appointment and here he was standing with Kate. She just nodded and in order to save herself from more misery she started to sit in the car.

Xie Yuansheng removed Kate's hand from his shirt. He held Feng Xinying's shoulder to stop her and asked, "What happened?" He could see disappointment all over face. It made him feel sad.

"Nothing… I have to be somewhere on an urgent basis," she replied in a subdued voice.

Kate interfered. How could let go of Xie Yuansheng whom she had successfully impressed and spent time with? She interjected, "Brother Xie Yuansheng, let us go inside. You said you have your game on your mobile. Let us finish that game." She tugged at his sleeve again.

Xie Yuansheng ignored Kate and once again asked her, "Where? Would you need help?" She looked pale and weak to him.

"N- no," Feng Xinying shook her head and sat in the car. She didn't want to tell him and show her vulnerability in front of Kate that she was going to the doctor.

She closed the door and the driver started the ignition when Lu Boyun came out running from inside. "Miss Xinying, you have left this CD inside on the kitchen table," he shouted in order to stop her. "You will need this for the doctor's appointment."

Xie Yuansheng was stunned. "Doctor?" he asked a little louder this time.

Kate was baffled as to why was he asking as though he didn't know about it and why was Feng Xinying hiding that she had to visit the doctor. That surely meant that something was not right between the two. The couple was perhaps breaking up soon. She couldn't help but smile inside.

Feng Xinying took the CD from Lu Boyun and asked the driver to go. She didn't want to wait there even for a minute. The air was stifling.

Seeing that she hadn't answered him, Xie Yuansheng kept his hand on the window of the car and said, "Why are you going to the doctor? Tell me." He stood there as if to stop the car but at the same time he was thinking that why would Feng Xinying tell anything to her Chef. And he was right, she didn't say anything. She continued to sit in the car like a statue. She took a deep breath and said to the driver, "Drive."

The car started driving slowly out of the driveway and Xie Yuansheng stood there with shock on his face.

Feng Xinying heard Kate saying, "Brother Xie Yuansheng, let us go and play the game." A tear rolled out of her eye. How did things go that way? She had never anticipated that out of all people her new problem would be Kate. Should she talk to Keira or should she tell Xie Shengjun? Did her Shengu not feel anything about her?

As she wiped that tear from her cheek, she found more of them coming out of her eyes. Suddenly the door of the moving car opened. Xie Yuansheng sat inside it and closed it with a loud thud. He looked at her intently. She was crying. He took his hankie and gave it to her to wipe away the tears. As she took the hankie with a surprise in her eyes, he said, "Is it okay if I accompany you to the doctor's place?"
