At first BF thought that the car was just another vehicle on the road, however, he became slightly worried when the car didn't stop following them for a long time. Being concerned about it, he increased the speed and asked Shu Ning to hold him tight. The car followed them at that speed too. So no matter what speed he was driving, the car wasn't leaving their trail. Shu Ning clutched her bag tightly. BF was waiting to arrive in the next city as soon as possible. He was going to sell whatever Shu Ning had brought and then they had to go back to the music company. So he picked speed.

It was an hour later that the car started driving parallel to them. Suddenly the car came very close to them and a window rolled down. A masked man pointed his gun towards them and shouted, "Stop now or I will shoot you."

Both Shu Ning and BF were scared and on an impulse increased the speed. But to their horror, they heard a gunshot behind them. The masked man had shot a fire in the air to scare them. BF lost the balance of the motorbike and it skidded a little, which in turn resulted in reducing speed. The car had by that time come in front of them and they screeched to a halt.

The masked man got down from the car. He pointed his gun at them and the two of them froze in their places. The man walked towards them as three more men came out of the car and surrounded the couple. The man with the gun went to Shu Ning and said, "Hand over this bag to us."

Shu Ning was scared. Did these people know about the jewelry in her bag or was this plain highway robbery? She clutched her bag tightly. "No!" she shouted. I have clothes in it.

"Let us see those clothes," said the main lewdly. He went ahead and put the gun's nozzle on BF's head. "Hand it over or he goes."

"Give it to them!" said BF somehow.

"But this one has ticket to your music company."

"Give it, stupid girl," he said irritated at her.

Shu Ning still didn't. She shook her. She had robbed her parents and how could she give it like that. She regretted her decision now.

Seeing her reluctance, two other men came and they pulled the bag from her forcefully. Once they had the bag, they opened it and looked at the bounty inside. They started laughing. One of them took out some stuff from it in his hands and chuckled. "So much!" While doing so a watch fell down.

The man with the gun shouted at them. "Hurry up!" Listening to his order, he zipped the bag and all of them ran back to the car and zoomed away.

Shu Ning and BF were left alone in the darkness of the night. Shu Ning got down from the motorbike and with shaky hands picked the watch that had fallen on the road. She started crying hysterically. All of it was gone just like that. BF took that watch from her and said, "Sit down. Be happy that we are alive." He spoke so stoically that

Together they entered the next city and waited for the shops to open. As soon as the market opened at 10AM, BF went to the black market to sell the watch that they had – a Rolex. The watch was sold for more than two hundred thousand Yuan. When Shu Ning looked at that transaction, her mind became numb with the fact that her bag contained so many such watches and jewelry. How much would that have cost? All her thoughts went back to her parents. They must have started a manhunt for her. She knew what they were capable of and suddenly realized that they would catch her soon. It was just a matter of time. She had to quickly find a way dilute the situation. Her mind was so overwhelmed that it became numb. Shu Ning fainted.

Meanwhile back in the hospital, Feng Xinying didn't go to the office. It was one of the most important days of her life. Both Xie Shengjun and Keira sat with her until the dawn break. They all wanted to talk to the doctor. Finally when Xie Shengjun couldn't contain his eagerness to speak with the doctor, he called him and fixed an appointment. The doctor said that he would visit them as soon as he came to the hospital but it won't be before 9AM.

Feng Xinying asked them to freshen up and come back as Keira also needed rest. Xie Shengjun left reluctantly. Keira did need rest and he was responsible for her. He asked Feng Xinying also to take rest and be ready for the doctor. Feng Xinying nodded. She was tired and soon slept off. When she woke up, only half an hour had passed. Scared, she turned to look at Xie Yuansheng if he had woken up, but found him sleeping peacefully. She got up and got ready to see the doctor.

When she came out of the bathroom in a bathrobe she saw that Xie Yuansheng was awake. He was sitting on the bed with his legs hanging down. He looked at her and was surprised. She understood that he was alarmed by her presence so she said, "Don't worry. Today the doctor will see you and I will leave you. I think the doctor will rehabilitate you."

Xie Yuansheng was a little scared when he heard that she would leave him but he didn't want to be a burden on her. She had already helped him so much. How could he ask for more? A sense of loneliness fell upon him. Where would he go in this world?

His gaze followed Feng Xinying who went to collect the clothes that were lying on the bed. Had it been normal circumstances, she would have changed her clothes in front of him but she picked them up from there and went to the bathroom knowing fully well how he stared at her with anticipation.
