Feng Xinying immediately asked, "In that case, did you scurry the apartment?"

"Yes, Miss Xinying."

"Did you find anything that we could use?" she asked but was highly doubtful because she knew that if the shooter was a professional one, he would not leave a single trace of his presence over there.

"This apartment was vacant for a long time because the owner is not here. So there was no furniture also. However, we can see now that the lock of this apartment was broken. "No need to waste your time on that. If they could send police to Su Haobing within five minutes of shooting, don't you think, they must have erased all the video?" she said trying to drill sense in him.

"I don't know, Madam, you have to ask the doctor about that… but he is showing good signs of improvement." After saying that the nurse left feeling very sorry for the young woman in front of her.

Feng Xinying sat on the bed. Her knees felt wobbly. "You test me God, and I will get back to you! I am stronger than you think I am. Keep throwing those challenges and I will steer through them!" She looked up and challenged the person who had created them all. She kept sitting on the bed holding her tummy. She talked to her baby until Lu Boyun arrived. He gave her food and left after an hour.

It was evening when Xie Yuansheng was shifted to the VIP ward. The ward had one large glass window through which she could she him. The room was not very far from her room, it was on the same floor but the entry to the area was restricted. She could visit him anytime she liked. Xie Shengjun and Keira came in the evening. Both of them were just too worried about him. They could see him from the outside.

"What has the doctor said?" asked Keira.

Feng Xinying lowered her head. "His condition is stable but he is not conscious. I don't know what the future holds for me…"

Keira held her hand and took her back to the room. Once they were sitting on the bed, she said, "Xinying, you have to be prepared for the future. Whatever happens we are with you. You have to take care of the Feng Conglomerate. Don't let things fail. Don't get stuck here. You have to take all that responsibility.
