Feng Xinying was now getting worried about Su Lang. Perhaps he had disappeared and gone off the radar fearing that the enemy was his tail. She felt as though she had lost someone close while walking down her revengeful path. She hoped that he appeared soon. She sighed and looked back and was shocked to see that Xie Yuansheng was standing a few feet away from her and watching her intently. A silence fell between them. Did he listen to her? He looked dangerous.

"Who were you talking to?" he asked in an aggressive way.

"There was one of the people in the Starline that wanted to present his case," she lied through her teeth. If she told him the truth, he would never let her go to the site and now she was more determined than ever to go there.

"Hmm…" he nodded. "I am going for lunch with some senior managers. Come, let's go together."

"Sure," she replied heaving a sigh of relief and walked to him. She held his hand and together they left for lunch.

Xie Yuansheng took the elevator down. "Where are we going?" she asked because they weren't headed for the office.

"To the restaurant nearby," he replied coldly.

She was beginning to get nervous. There was sweat on her forehead because Xie Yuansheng was now in his most threatening mood. She quietly followed him. When they reached the venue she noticed that all of them were already there. Once lunch was over, she went back with him. She had started to feel suffocated and wanted to leave. Once they entered the office, Xie Yuansheng said, "Feng Xinying, do you want to go home? I think you should go home and relax…"

"Yes, Xie Yuansheng, I am planning to leave," she collected her purse and her cardigan.

Suddenly Xie Yuansheng came and held her from behind as he she was about to open the door. "Yini, remember that I love you always. Keep our baby safe and eat properly, okay?"

She turned to look at him. "Why are you speaking like this? I don't like your tone." She kept a hand on his cheek, "See you in the evening."

He smiled and said, "I will be very late tonight since there is lots of work pending. Have your dinner and sleep in time."

"When will you return?" she frowned.

"Past midnight…"

Feng Xinying placed a kiss on his lips and left. "See you."

He watched her going out.

When Feng Xinying went down in the lobby, once again she saw Lim Chuen sitting and reading a magazine. As usual she ignored him and walked past. Her driver was standing in front of the office with the car. He opened the door for her to sit down. Once they drove, her security car followed them. On her way back she was wondering about Su Lang.

When she reached home, her mind wasn't concentrating on anything. She was only thinking how would the next day turns out. She wanted to give good news to Xie Yuansheng that she had finally taken revenge.

True to his words, Xie Yuansheng arrived past midnight. She was sleeping during that time. When he came to lie beside her, she just turned towards him as he embraced her in his arms. When she woke up in the morning, he wasn't there. Today was the day. Hurriedly, she got dressed to go to the site where Su Haobing must be waiting. It was 5:30AM.

When she was getting ready, suddenly her phone started ringing. It was an unknown number. She frowned but she picked the number.

"Young miss, this is Su Lang!"

Feng Xinying skin lined with goose bumps. Finally she got to hear from him. "Su Lang! Where are you and how are you? Is everything okay with you? Su Haobing is so worried about you," she said as soon as she heard his voice.

"Young miss, I have been abducted by some men. Somehow, I have bribed one of these men to call you. Can you please come and rescue me?" he answered panicky to the core.

"Rescue you? Who has kidnapped you and why? What is going on?" she asked now feeling extremely nervous. She wanted to call Xie Yuansheng now!

"Please come and protect me young miss!" he cried.

"I will but where are you?" she asked again.

"I don't know," he replied. "And m-" he couldn't even complete his sentence when a man snatched his phone.

"If you want to save this bastard, bring one million Yuan. Come to the address that I am sending you now. Else I will kill him in an hour," came the voice and the phone disconnected.

Feng Xinying's body was shaking. She gulped and waited for the message. In the next moment there was a ping and read the address.

As soon as she received the address, she rushed out of the house. Her car was waiting for her as she had instructed a day before as to what time she would leave home. Even her security team was ready. She gave the address to the driver and left. "Where is it?" she asked him.

"It is forty minutes from here young miss. Since it is early morning, we won't hit any traffic jams."

"Okay, drive fast," she ordered. She also had to reach the place of meeting by 7:30AM.

She tried calling Xie Yuansheng but his phone was switched off. She found it odd when even Xie Shengjun's phone was switched off. She called Su Haobing, but he didn't pick her call. Feng Xinying's nervousness became a notch higher. Why would anyone kidnap Su Lang? It seemed they had come to know about his association with her and now they might blackmail her. She didn't have one million Yuan, so she picked her designer diamond necklace that she had bought a long time back. That was worth over a million Yuan.

When she reached the address, she found that it was a small abandoned house. She alighted the car. Where did her security people go? There was no one behind her. Perplexed, she clutched her purse and walked inside. She was in for a huge shock!
