That day when Lim Chuen had been in a fit of rage after hearing that the Feng Conglomerate had decided to make the company go back to private limited, he had thrown everything that was there on his office table. Chang Ling was sitting over there and she became scared after seeing her father in law in such an angry condition. She cringed and tried to pacify him that this is not a big issue because it can be easily challenged in court.

Lim De Zhi had moved out of his home and was now staying in one of their properties in the downtown. He had been sick of his father's tactics to the extent that he was now openly against them. The last one in which he exposed Feng Xinying's identity was the last straw. Ever since he had moved out of the house, he was going to the company but he had asked Chang Ling not to collaborate with his father and come up with any shady plans. He had clearly told her that he wanted to live a normal life where he would come from the office and she would cater to him and be with him. He had seen his father and mother always away from each other and his father conniving with people to do everything possible to sabotage other people plan that he was now repulsed by that idea.

He had seen Chang Ling conniving with his father during the swimwear project that led to her suspension and hence he had warned her never to get into anything shady with his father again, but the woman had again connived with him for the party where he had to deal with massive embarrassment. At that time, he didn't know that she had connived with him. It was only after he saw a certain message with proof that she had plotted with his father to bring Feng Xinying down, that he went ballistic. He scolded her very strictly and had asked her not to go to his home after that. If anyone had to meet her, they could go there and meet her.

However that day he got a message that Chang Ling was meeting with Lim Chuen in his office. Lim De Zhi didn't know the number from which the messages were coming but in order to verify whether it was true or not, he went to his father's office and when he saw Chang Ling coming out of there, he was mad. Chang Ling was extremely scared now. She had been apologizing the entire way back home. Lim De Zhi had actually left his office for the day only to fetch her to make her realize how important that issue was for him. When they reached home, he pulled her to their bedroom upstairs and started hitting her.

He held her hair and hit her on her face, on her stomach and kicked her after throwing her on the floor for going against him. Her lips had split and her face was swollen. She kept shouting and asking for mercy. It was after an hour that he left her. He dragged her and threw her out of the bedroom and closed the door. Somehow the servants managed to take her to the hospital where she was admitted in an emergency. She had to say that she had fallen down the stairs, contrary to what the servants had mentioned.

When Xie Yuansheng got the message from Lim Chuen's secretary that Chang Ling had again gone to meet Lim Chuen, the first thing he ordered him to click photographs and send it to him. The secretary clicked photos and sent them all to the anonymous number. Xie Yuansheng snickered when he saw the photos and sent them to Lim De Zhi. He had already come to know from the secretary that it Lim De Zhi hated his father's schemes and that his wife had been plotting with his father. He took advantage of the same. He divided the rift between the families by sending those pictures. When he heard that Chang Ling was admitted to the hospital, he was ready to strike Lim Chuen next. And this time he was going to give him a bigger blow. A week later he sent Lim De Zhi a proposal to collaborate with him on a project.

Ever since Xie Yuansheng had mentioned in his company's annual meeting that he was interested in expanding more, there were several proposals that were coming his way. His employees had been meeting many investors and other companies for exploring their options. One of the proposals that Xie Yuansheng liked was that of starting a mega township, which would have at least five thousand flats and individual bungalows. The township would be complete with parks, malls and even movie halls.

Xie Yuansheng had formed a team who would look after this project in his real estate department. All the senior managers were roped in for this job. There was fervor in the department regarding the new project and almost everyone knew about this ambitious project. The director responsible for the job had started looking for land where the township of that level could be built.

Lim Chuen also came to know about this project and he decided to go and meet Xie Yuansheng. Once again he did not get any appointments from his secretary and so he did what he did last time – he barged into his office one day in the morning despite his secretary asking him not. When he barged in that day, he saw that Xie Yuansheng was holding his wife and kissing her passionately. He gritted his teeth and coughed loudly but none of them looked in his direction.

That day Feng Xinying had come with Xie Yuansheng to the office because she was getting bored. Also the board members had to meet in order to pass the resolution. Xie Yuansheng had already seen and heard the conversation that was going outside between Lim Chuen and the secretary on his computer screen. He went to Feng Xinying who was sitting on the sofa in front. As soon as Lim Chuen started to open the door, he picked Feng Xinying and started kissing her passionately.
