Lim Chuen had been waiting eagerly for this meeting. His daughter-in-law had proven to be something he had never expected in his life. Today was the day when he had to formally introduce her to the board of the Feng Conglomerate. He was eagerly waiting for Xie Yuansheng. Chang Ling was sitting near him, dressed formally and looking her best. This was her chance to impress the CEO of the Feng Conglomerate.

Finally when the door opened and the couple walked in. Chang Ling's gaze went to their hands that were interlocked and her face became dark.

When Lim Chuen saw that even Feng Xinying was coming in with Xie Yuansheng, he got a sour taste in his mouth. That girl was an eyesore. He was happy until she had hidden her identity from people because with the way her popularity was rising, if she declared that she was the heiress of the Feng Conglomerate, he might have to retreat in shadows. He feared that the public would favor the real heir over anything. He had to find a way to eliminate her as soon as possible.

Without wasting time, Xie Yuansheng went to sit on the chair of the chairman and Feng Xinying sat beside him. All those present greeted the couple with a smile and the meeting started.

One of the enthusiastic members of board, an old man, chuckled and remarked, "When are we seeing the two of you getting married? We want to see little Fengs and Xies."

Feng Xinying's face became red while Xie Yuansheng gave a huge grin. He started daydreaming about those little ones around his legs.

Chang Ling coughed slightly to remind Lim Chuen the purpose of the meeting. Lim Chuen took the cue and in a very serious tone said aloud, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I have called this meeting for an important proposal from my side. As you can see that I had appointed Wang Zirong from my side to be one of the members of the board, now that she is no more between us, I wanted to suggest the name of my daughter-in-law Chang Ling for the same position." He looked at Chang Ling, who got up and bowed in front of all.

"She is an intelligent girl who has been helping me in business from a few months now. I would like if you all could accept her name."

"What about your son?" asked one of the men there.

"He is helping his father in the business," replied Lim Chuen with a smile.

Xie Yuansheng looked at Chang Ling. There was nothing he could do if all the members agreed. All he could do was keep an eye on all her movements the minute she entered the company.

Feng Xinying looked at Chang Ling casually. She had to find out about her – all details. She texted Su Haobing.

There was no reason why the members would disagree with Lim Chuen's proposal and so all agreed. Chang Ling smiled as she accepted congratulations from all in the board. Once the greetings died down, very meekly she suggested, "The position that Wang Zirong held earlier was that of Vice President of Procurement. Would the CEO Xie Yuansheng be kind enough to consider me for that position?"

Lim Chuen looked at her with surprise. Even though he had mentioned about Wang Zirong that she was his spy, he had never mentioned that she was the VP of Procurement.
