It was past 6PM and Feng Xinying's phone rang. It was Zhou Ah Ming, "Madam, where are you? We are all waiting for you for the talent show!"

Feng Xinying panicked, "But you said that it will start from 7PM!" 

"Madam, please come as soon as possible. These people will give you a set of questions that you have to work on with your agent Ju Long. He wants to craft all your answers perfectly so that you give very calculated answers."

Feng Xinying sprang up. 

"What is it?" asked Keira.

"I have to rush to the talent show now!" saying that Feng Xinying ran outside to Xie Yuangshen who was looking slightly drunk now after having the third peg. 

"Xie Yuangshen, how could you drink so much?" she chided him. "I have to go to the talent show now. Ah Ming just called."

Xie Yuangshen looked at her with eyes that were red now. He kept the glass on the table and got up, "Let's go darling," he said and circled her shoulders. 

Feng Xinying was horrified at his disposition. While going from there she saw a number of photos on the table. She looked at them trying to remember if she had seen any of those people. Only one she could recognize. She saw that Xie Shengjun was also wasted. He was looking all the more drunk. Keira had followed her out and when she saw Xie Shengjun in that condition, she was annoyed. 

"You scoundrel! You are going to stay here on this couch for the night now!" she shouted at him and walked back inside. Xie Shengjun somehow got up and staggered behind her, "B- baby…" 

Feng Xinying and Xie Yuangshen went to the car inside which he slumped. Feng Xinying gritted her teeth. What was the point of coming to talent show if he had to behave like that? 

When they reached the venue, Feng Xinying left him in the car and instructed the driver to take him back home. She said she would come back in the security car behind them. 

Ju Long was right there waiting for her eagerly. He handed her all the answers and he had prepared for her. He said, "All the questions that will be asked to you need to answered very politely. Wu Bosun is already there. He will help you out with any problems that you may encounter." 

"Okay," said Feng Xinying. It would be her first appearance. She was anxious. 

"However, please be careful of Ru Shishi. She is also going to be there," said Ju Long with an annoyed expression.

"What? Why is she there? What does she have to do with the show?"

"She got herself an entry based on Wu Bosun's connections," he replied with an agitated tone.

"Her agent has also given her all the answers. Most likely she will stick to the script, but still…" 

Feng Xinying nodded. It was time for the show to start. She entered inside the studio and found Wu Bosun waiting for her. Wearing a beautiful green dress that was below her knees, she looked elegant. Her hair was pleated in a neat side plait. She looked gorgeous. Wu Bosun was wearing a black pant and blue designer shirt. The two of them walked in together and the audience burst into applause. The two bowed in front of the audience and seated together. Feng Xinying noticed that Ru Shishi was already there. She was watching them a scorn on her face. Feng Xinying looked past her.

The emcee started the show with welcoming the lead actors. He was looking very happy because it was the first time he had a chance to work with Wu Bosun. The entire show was going on nicely with the emcee asking the question that they had practiced earlier. 

After the questions, it was the chance of the audience to ask their questions. The emcee asked the assistants to pass the mic around. 

The first question came from a young girl, "Will the two of you get married soon? You both look really cute together." 

Feng Xinying handed the mic to Wu Bosun who replied, "No, we still have a long way to go and our careers have just started." 

"Oh no!" the girl exclaimed and the audience burst into laughter. 

The mic was passed on to another lady. "Miss Ru Shishi do you have any projects in your hand?" 

Ru Shishi was waiting for that opportunity. "Yes, I have so many projects. Ever since I have joined the StarManage agency, I have been flooded with offers. You see I am very choosy about what I should work in. So I have tried to keep it safe. You will soon see me in a diaper ad and a toothpaste ad."

The lady was impressed, "That's very nice Miss Shishi. You are new and yet you have bagged so many advertisements." 

"Of course, I have so much work," she replied with air. She had rubbed it on Feng Xinying's face that she had already grabbed so many advertisements. She was the one who had hired that woman to sit and ask those questions because she already knew that she had to give very calculated answers to the emcee. She only had her chance with the audience.

Feng Xinying stayed quiet.
