"Shishi, have you had your lunch?" asked Xie Weihui affectionately. "I have prepared grilled pomfret for you."

"No mother. I wanted to have my lunch with you," replied Ru Shishi in a honeyed voice. Then she circled her mother's shoulders and took her to the dining space where all the lunch was already set on the table.

During lunch, Xie Weihui said, "I don't like that you use public transport for traveling. I have bought a car for you and also hired a driver. He will take you around."

"Really?" Ru Shishi clasped her hands. "Thank you!"

"Oh, it's nothing."

"Tomorrow, I have to attend a dinner party as Wu Bosun's partner."
