Feng Xinying's face became pale as though she was hearing a horror story. "Why did you marry my father when he forced you give away your child?" she asked wondering at Xei Weihui's reason to marry. Any woman who would be subjected to such misery would hate the man responsible for it but Xei Weihui not only decided to stay single and take care of Xie Yuansheng, she also married the man because of whom she suffered so much. Feng Xinying couldn't fit the puzzle pieces.

"Ever since your mother had died, he looked for a mother for you in order to give you a secure life. He loved you a lot, but unfortunately none of the ladies whom he married were capable of doing so.

"I was working in one of his suburban offices, which he used to frequent. After his third marriage fell, he became lonely again. In that time we came together and married. I was looking after Xie Yuansheng at that time. Your father was a very nice man, he accepted me wholeheartedly and I loved him despite me having to abandon my child. I thought I would look at you as my abandoned child and love you the same I would have done to my child. However, you left that very night and everything in our lives changed."

Feng Xinying's shoulders dropped. Her father made Xei Weihui abandon her child because of her. She could never fathom his love for her and took a decision in a hurry. Her tears rolled out.

"Feng Xinying, I have found the child now," continued Xei Weihui.

Feng Xinying looked at her with mixed feelings. Because of her she had left the house and her father and now after a long time, she had been able to accept her as Xie Yuansheng's mother who had sacrificed her life for him to a great extent. She had suffered so much. "Who is your baby?" she asked tenderly in order to lessen the sufferings of a woman who had done so much for the family. She thought she would welcome the child in the home.

Xei Weihui looked down in her lap as she twisted her fingers. Then she looked up at them. With a lovely motherly smile she said, "Ru Shishi."

Feng Xinying was in for another shock! "Ru Shishi?" shouted Feng Xinying as she left Xie Yuansheng's hand and stood up.

"The same Ru Shishi who stays with Wu Bosun?" she asked.

Xei Weinui nodded. "Yes, the same one. Even I was shocked Feng Xinying. So in order to confirm my doubts I went ahead to get a DNA test done for her and she matches your DNA. You and Ru Shishi are sisters."

Feng Xinying wanted to speak words, but her throat was choking those words. Ru Shishi, the girl who tried to murder her and Xie Yuansheng was her stepsister. She felt weak in her knees as she once again sat on her chair. What was the fate trying to do with her? How were her stars playing? Was this some kind of dream that she was in?

After gathering her wits and a long uneasy pause, Feng Xinying shouted, "I will not let Ru Shishi enter this house!"

Xei Weihui was stunned, "Why are saying that Feng Xinying? I have found my child after eighteen years and now I will not leave her. Her adoptive mother has died. She is living with Wu Bosun. Now that she has found her home, her family, it is only right that she stays here."

"When did you come to know about her or rather please tell me when did she come to know about you?" asked Feng Xinying trying to give her the benefit of the doubt.

"I came to know about her ten days back and the DNA test results were revealed a week back," replied Xei Weihui innocently.

So this means that Ru Shishi was already aware of the fact that Feng Xinying was her sister, and knowingly she attacked them and sabotaged the files. She was clearly after Feng Xinying.

"Do you know-" yelled Feng Xinying but she was cut short by Xie Yuansheng mid-sentence. Feng Xinying looked at him with blazing eyes.

Xie Yuansheng knew that this was about to happen. In his past life also the same scene had occurred, but the difference was that in his past life, he was with Xei Weihui and against Feng Xinying.
