Xie Yuansheng went back inside and found that Da Cong was crying hysterically like a woman and Feng Xinying, who had taken a piece of cloth that she found in his baggage that had been rummaged by Xie Yuansheng's men, was tying that cloth around his fingers. She was actually shouting at him, "Keep them still or else they would get damaged further." Da Cong listened to her like a baby wiping his tears with his shirtsleeve.

Once she had tied the bandage around his fingers, she went to sit back in her chair and looked at Xie Yuansheng who appeared grumpy as hell. She gestured "What" with a straight face. Then she said, "I got to keep him alive until I get the information."

"Finding the information is going to take a long time Feng Xinying. Let us go to the office and come here at lunchtime."

"Will he be alive by that time?" she asked.

"Of course yes!" replied Xie Yuansheng and held Feng Xinying's hand to take her out. As they went out, she saw Xie Yuansheng signaling a man. That man got up, opened a box and took out a syringe from it.

"What are going to do?" asked Feng Xinying with wide eyes. "I need him alive!" she said exasperated.

"Nothing, my dear. We are just going to drug him until lunchtime, otherwise he would be in a lot of pain and I am doing all this just because you are so kind to him," answered Xie Yuansheng as though complaining.

Feng Xinying shook her head, and hurried out. Some kindness was that. Xie Yuansheng followed her to the car. She scolded him all the way to the office for being so cruel to the hacker. Her theory was that if a man was answering the questions readily, why hit him so hard.

When they reached the office, it was already past 11AM. A grumpy Xie Yuansheng went to the office while she went to her cubicle. From the corner of her eye she noticed that Yun Chen was sitting there in her cubicle all alone. There was no one who even came to talk to her. Everyone was avoiding her like the plague after Feng Xinying's relationship was announced with the CEO of the company. They all knew how Yun Chen hated Feng Xinying and they all were waiting for the day when Yun Chen would be thrown out.

Xie Yuansheng had back to back meetings and it was post 2PM when he was free. Feng Xinying had come to his office and demanded to know the status of the enquiry. "Have they found out about the numbers?"

Xie Yuansheng was still in a cranky mood. He didn't answer. He had laid all the food on the table as usual. From the past two days, the food was coming from home. He was waiting for her to come to him and cajole him into eating food. He was very hungry. He looked at her expectantly.

Realizing his bad mood, Feng Xinying walked to sit next to him with a faint smile. She picked her plate and took Pan Fried Fish and some steamed rice and kept it on her plate. She mixed a part small enough for one spoon only. Then she picked the spoon to eat it but instead gave that bite to Xie Yuansheng who opened his mouth and gobbled it. Feng Xinying laughed at him. She kept the plate down and tousled his hair. He frowned, as though not liking it, but he loved it deep inside.

Feng Xinying again mixed some fish and rice and fed him another bite. Who would imagine that the CEO of Feng Conglomerate was like a child in front of his wife? He demanded attention like a toddler.

When Xie Yuansheng was feeling better and his hunger subsided, he said, "The results are expected soon."

Feng Xinying was eager to know the results. It was like she was just a step away from the person who was behind this incident and she couldn't help but feel excited. She ate her food in a hurry.

"Let's go back to Da Cong. By the time the results will come, he will answer a few more questions," she suggested.

Just as Xie Yuansheng was about to reply to her, his phone rang.

"Sir, we have found the transaction details. They are very complicated."

"What do you mean?" he asked as his brows knitted.

"If you can come here, we can explain you better with live diagrams."

"Okay, we will be there in five minutes," he said and turned to Feng Xinying. "It seems that there is some complication involved."

Feng Xinying became irritated. "What complication Xie Yuansheng? Your IT department guys are absolutely useless! How could the server even be hacked? You got to take some serious measures once we solve this case!" she spat as she stood from her place and stormed out.

Xie Yuansheng followed her quickly and together they went to the IT wing.
