Feng Xinying looked at Xie Yuansheng and corrected him, "You must choose your battles wisely." 

"Yes, you must choose your battles wisely," said Xie Yuansheng as he flicked her head. "You avoid minor arguments or confrontations for those in which you have a better chance of success."

"Ouch!" Feng Xinying rubbed her forehead. Then she smiled and said, "I am sorry for breaking the brand new Porsche darling."

"It's okay, don't worry," he repeated. 

"No, what I am saying is, can you buy a new one for me?" asked Feng Xinying fluttering her eyes at him trying to seduce him. 

Xie Yuansheng narrowed his eyes and said, "Request denied," and walked ahead of her to the tow truck. 

Feng Xinying made a sad face and followed him. She muttered, "You should have told me that this car was for me… I would have been more careful..."

When the car was securely tied to the tow truck, they sat with the driver in the front seat. The driver took them to the train station. Thankfully they had arrived just on time. The car was handed over to the authorities at the station who had come running to Xie Yuansheng as soon as they had been informed about them by the office of Feng Conglomerate. Not only did they assure of sending the car as soon as possible, they personally escorted the couple to the first class AC coach. 

Xie Yuansheng thanked them before they left. The couple settled for the night. Sometime during the night, Xie Yuansheng had come to sleep along with Feng Xinying on her berth. It was an overnight journey and they reached the City Z in the morning 6AM. As soon as they were out of the station, the driver escorted them to the parking area and they left for home.

Somewhere in the city hospital, Lim De Zi was sitting near his fiancé. He had held her hands as tears swelled in his eyes. His father Lim Chuen had opposed his relationship with Chang Ying, the girl he loved more than his life. Chang Ying was born in a middle class family. Her mother and father were teachers and they had two children to look after within their means. Although the kids were well educated, the family wasn't rich. Chang Ming graduated as a pharmacist and was working in a shop, which Lim De Zi frequented. He was an asthma patient. 

When he saw Chang Ying, it was love at first sight. Ever since he had seen her for the first time, he chased her. Eventually they had fallen in love. When he had told his parents that he intended to marry Chang Ying, they had refused vehemently. They had even asked Chang Ying to leave their son by offering her a huge ten million check. But she had refused. Ever since, Chang Ying and Lim De Zi had become closer. Lim Chuen was extremely angry and he had sent goons to murder Chang Ying. Somehow she had escaped but not without being poisoned by them. Chang Ying had sent him SOS by her phone. When he found her, she was lying unconscious in an abandoned street. When he lifted her in his arms, she opened her eyes and told him in a whisper how she ended up there. She was in a lot of pain and blood was coming out of her mouth. Lim De Zi rushed her to the hospital. 

The doctors had given up all hope on her. Even though they had drained poison out of her stomach, and exchanged all her blood with the new one, they said that she had been brought in very late and it was possible that the poison had started working internal organs. They said that it's only a matter of few hours before she dies.

Lim De Zi was sitting holding her hands as tears came unbridled in his eyes. "Chang Ying, please don't leave me. Come back darling. I can't live with you. If you will die, I will also end my life." He was so furious with his father that he was sure that would kill him if God gave him a chance. 

Her limp hands in his hands became cold, and her heartbeat stopped. Lim De Zi looked at the heartbeat monitor above. Instead of showing the regular heartbeat pattern, it showed a straight line. 

"Chang Ying!" he shouted and started howling. "You can't leave me!" he cried. 

While he was crying, suddenly her hand moved in his. Lim De Zi thought that he must have shaken it. He didn't pay attention to it. Her hand now grasped his hand tightly and Lim De Zi was shocked. All of a sudden the heartbeat monitor gave a beep and started showing regular heartbeat rhythm. Lim De Zi looked up at it and was stunned. He couldn't comprehend the situation. 

Chang Ying opened her eyes.
