Feng Xinying tried to get up from there but Xie Yuansheng pinned her on his chest by circling his hand around her waist. In the dim light of the bedside lamp, he could see that she was turning red. She lowered her head and the hair around her fell like a veil around her lovely face. He removed the hair from her face with his fingers and tucked them softly behind her ears as he stared into her eyes.

"I- I don't know how I ended up here…" she said softly.
