Guo Junxo called Feng Xinying to make sure that she had reached the venue or not but she was still in the office waiting for Xie Yuansheng. It was already 6:30PM and past the office hours.

"I am also still in the office Feng Xinying. If you like we can go together," offered Guo Junxo.

"No Guo Junxo, you go. I will come a little later and will reach the venue directly. I know the shop very well," she replied.

"Okay, but please do come. I will select a few rings in the meanwhile," insisted Guo Junxo.

"Of course yes!"

When Xie Yuansheng didn't come even by 6:45PM, Feng Xinying picked up her purse and drove to the mall. She parked her car and went to the shop that Guo Junxo had mentioned about. Over there she found him by the rings counter. There were a plethora of rings spread in front of him and he was unable to decide. As soon as he saw Feng Xinying, his face split into a grin and he heaved a sigh of relief. They started looking at the rings with interest. They didn't even realize but more than thirty minutes had passed.

Wang Zirong had taken Xie Yuansheng to the area, which was under the scanner of the government officials. It was hardly anything because only the gardens were supposed to be removed. Xie Yuansheng became angry on her, "You have brought me here for such a small inspection. You could have come on your own!"

"I am sorry Xie Yuansheng, but I thought that this really needed your attention." As she said that, she started moving towards the wing of the mall, which had the jewelry shops. "There is another area I would like to show you. We can develop it into a more profitable business. I have talked to some vendors also."

Xie Yuansheng was walking with her. All of a sudden she stopped in front of a jewelry shop and started looking inside through the glass door. Her expressions changed when she exclaimed, "Oh! It seems Feng Xinying is selecting rings! And who is there with her? Guo Junxo?"

As she said that Xie Yuansheng's gaze turned towards them. He was already angry and seeing them together made his anger boil. He started going inside but Wang Zirong stopped him.

"Why do you want to destroy their alone-time together? They had been going together for sometime now."

Xie Yuansheng couldn't believe what Wang Ziring said. He still stepped forward to go inside.

"Are you going to congratulate them?" she asked.

"No!" he replied. "But I don't believe you!"

The pictures made him depressed. He looked at Feng Xinying inside the jewelry shop. She was looking at the ring that was in her finger and smiling at it. It was a very small diamond ring and still she was smiling. Xie Yuansheng was filled with jealousy and disgust.

He left Wang Zirong in a hurry. He went to the parking area and sped his car to one of the most exclusive bars owned by his brother where only a few people were the members. He had been to that bar along with his brother once before. It was only 8PM and he ordered two glasses of whiskey.

While drinking all he could think was how arrogant she was. How could she go around looking for rings when they were still in the marriage? More than two months were left for the contract to end. Did she not even have an ounce of affection for him? Even in this life she was giving him the worst time of his life. How could he show her that he loved her and no one else? He felt like stabbing his chest and digging heart to present it to her. Was there anyway to get out of this melancholy?

Wang Zirong smiled when she saw Xie Yuansheng leave the mall suddenly. She ran after him and shouted his name for him to stop but he didn't even listen to her. However, since her mission was successful, she left for home satisfied.

After selecting the ring, Guo Junxo thanked Feng Xinying a lot. He wanted to treat her with dinner but she refused with a smile. She wanted to go home and see Xie Yuansheng. She took leave and left for home. When she reached there, the first thing she did was to peep in his room. He wasn't there. Then she went to the study, but he wasn't there too. She went downstairs and asked the butler.

"Has the young master come home?"

"No, miss Xinying but please have your dinner," replied the butler.

She became sad when she heard it and said, "Lu Boyun, you can just leave the food on the table. I will eat it later."

"Okay young miss," said the butler.

Feng Xinying went to her room and waited for Xie Yuansheng to come home to have dinner with him. However, it was past 1AM in the night and he hadn't come. She had dozed off, when all of a sudden she heard her phone ringing. It was Xie Yuansheng number.

"Xie Yuansheng, where are you?" she asked panicky.

Instead of Xie Yuansheng, there was someone else on the line. "Sorry madam, but is this Mr. Xie Yuansheng's home?"

"Yes," said Feng Xinying getting afraid by the minute.

"Mr. Xie Yuansheng has drunk a lot. He is unable to move also. This number was saved as 'Dearest Wife' so we called you. Can you please come and take him from here? The bar is about to close."

"Please send me the location," replied Feng Xinying as she jumped out of the bed. She looked at the clock and was aghast. She ran out of the house, and picked a car. Since all the drivers were sleeping, she herself drove to the bar.
