Feng Xinying was had gone to the floor below to ask about the Baby Boo project's details that were still pending to be completed. While she was talking to the colleagues, she received a call that Xie Yuansheng was looking for her. Annoyed, Feng Xinying closed her file with a loud 'patak' and pursed her lips. She got up to leave.

When she reached up to her desk, she kept her file over there and started to walk to Xie Yuansheng's office when she noticed that Wang Zirong was standing there knocking his office door. She fastened her pace but within a few seconds, she saw that Wang Zirong was pulled in by Xie Yuansheng in the office and the door was closed. Feng Xinying not only felt annoyed but awkward too. She didn't feel like going inside his chamber and instead went to sit in her cubicle.

Inside his office, Xie Yuansheng was appalled by the fact that he had mistakenly pulled Wang Zirong. "What are you doing here?" he asked annoyingly walking back to his chair.

"Xie Yuansheng, don't be so mad at me, sweetie. I have come to meet you as the Vice President of the company," she replied in a very honeyed voice.

"Then speak about it. I don't have time," he said in a very disrespectful manner.

"I have come to talk to you about the vendor who will be supplying us with the material for our new shipping project. Two vendors have offered us to supply us with steel for the shipbuilding, but one of them is offering us low rates as compared to the other one because he is new in the market and wants to establish his business," said Wang Zirong going and sitting in the office chair opposite him.

"In that case, you must call a meeting with the people who are concerned with this project rather than coming here directly."

Wang Zirong pursed her lips and narrowed her eyes. She continued, "Okay, I will do that. But there is one more thing that I have to talk about."

"What is it? Please tell quickly," said Xie Yuansheng checking his watch. He was agitated that Feng Xinying hadn't come to meet him even though he had called her. Where the hell was she? Every minute that passed without her that day was like a burden. Why did she go alone without any driver? Why did she leave him? Ever since Xie Shengjun had called him, his nervousness regarding her safety was at Defcon level. If it had been his previous life, he would have just put her in house arrest and he felt like doing that today also.

"We have heard reports that the Paragon Mall is coming under the scanner of the government officials for some construction issues. You have to come there personally with me to see this because it is a large area," said Wang Zirong breaking his reverie.

Xie Yuansheng was surprised. "How come there is this issue now? Because we have always been in conformity with the government's rules?"

"I don't know Xie Yuansheng but can you come today around 7PM? I will be free by that time…"

He had to go back with Feng Xinying. He thought of taking her to the mall with him. He said, "Okay, but I may come late. You go there and wait for me."

"We can go together Xie Yuansheng. I don't bite," said Wang Zirong and started laughing.

"We will see Wang Zirong. You can go because I have lots on my mind right now," he replied checking his watch again.

Wang Zirong hated the way he dismissed her but she said very sweetly, "Okay Xie Yuansheng. I will wait for your call to go there. It is very urgent." She left the office.

When she walked outside, she saw that Feng Xinying was working on her computer. She looked at him and smiled. "Today is your last day in this office Feng Xinying," she thought and walked confidently trotting on her heels.

Feng Xinying was so immersed in her work that she didn't see her leaving. Her concentration was disturbed when she heard a ping on her phone. It was a message from Xie Yuansheng.

[Come to my room, now!]

Feng Xinying fretted inwards when she saw that message. She didn't want to face Wang Zirong but she picked her phone and went inside. Xie Yuansheng watched her walking inside from the moment she opened the door and walked to sit in the chair opposite him. Xie Yuansheng got up from his chair, went to her, held her hand and pulled her to the sofa.

"Where were you in the morning? Do you know what happened to Keira after you left?" he asked her reprimanding her.

She became slightly panicky. "What happened?" she asked.

Xie Yuansheng narrated the incident to her and said, "Brother has asked me not to send you alone anywhere now. So you better come to the office and go back with me from now onwards!"

Feng Xinying became extremely nervous about Keira. She wanted to call her and meet her. But handling Xie Yuansheng was becoming difficult for her.

"I want to see Keira, and be with her," she said. "Perhaps I will spend the night with her."

"Xie Shengjun is with her already but the point here is that you can't go alone anywhere now."

Feng Xinying remembered that she had to help Guo Junxu to buy the ring. So she retorted at Xie Yuansheng, "What do you mean that I can't go alone? Why are you being so possessive about me? I will do what I have to do and you cannot hinder my day-to-day activity."

Saying that she got up and left his office as he watched her go with exasperation. She turned back and said just before leaving, "Today I have to go somewhere with a friend to the Paragon Mall."
