Feng Xinying's face darkened. She knew that Lim Fei Yen was a clingy girl who vied for attention and if attention wasn't given to her, she would throw tantrums. Also, the way she was looking at Xie Yuansheng, Feng Xinying already hated it. So when Xie Yuansheng pulled her closer to him, she willingly came closer.

Lim Fei Yen ignored Feng Xinying and continued to talk to to Xie Yuansheng. "Xiao Sheng, I am celebrating my mother's birthday party next week for which I will send you formal invite. You have to come," she said holding his hand as Lim Chuen watched the two of them.

Feng Xinying narrowed her eyes and said, "I am sorry but the CEO is very busy next week." Saying that she gently removed his hand from Lim Fei Yen's.

Xie Yuansheng agreed and said, "Sorry Lim Fei Yen, I can't. My secretary here knows my schedule the best. If she says I can't, then I really can't."

"What do you mean you can't?" asked Lim Fei Yen in a honeyed voice. "You can get your secretary also, if you like," she continued looking at Feng Xinying with distaste.

Xie Yuansheng was about to say something when Feng Xiying stopped him and said, "I will see if we can clear his schedule Miss Lim." This was the best way to ward her off thought Feng Xinying. She thought that now that girl would leave, but she didn't.

Lim Fei Yen again said, "Xie Yuansheng, come with me to the wine bar. Please select a wine for me. Today I will have wine selected by you only."

Feng Xinying sighed. "This girl won't go so easily," she thought exasperatedly.

"Lim Fei Yen, I am having whiskey. I don't think I am the right candidate for selecting wine for you," replied Xie Yuansheng very irritated by her.

"Come on, darling!" insisted Lim Fei Yen. "Just once."

Feng Xinying was beginning to hate that moron. She noticed a waiter passing by. She called him and picked a glass of white wine from there. Then forcefully, she handed the glass to Lim Fei Yen and said with a clenched smile, "Here, take this wine. How can you ask the CEO of the company to get wine for you? That's what the waiters do and not the CEO!"

Lim Fei Yen looked very annoyed and she wanted to hurl insult at her but Lim Chuen held her hand and signaled her to stay quiet. Then he coughed and said, "Can we men have some private business talk?"

Xie Yuansheng looked at Feng Xinying for help. He didn't want to talk to Lim Chuen. But Lim Fei Yen held Feng Xinying's hand and pulled her away saying, "Of course father. I will be right back."

Before Feng Xinying knew, she was being rudely pulled much to her embarrassment as the people watched them. Reluctantly, Feng Xinying had to go with her.

When they both were out of the ear-shots of Lim Chuen and Xie Yuansheng, Lim Fei Yen said, "So you are the new secretary? It seems that you have already started seducing Xie Yuansheng. But let me tell you one thing - people like you come and go in companies like ours. Finally CEOs like Xie Yuansheng marry rich girls like us. We have a very influential family and you are nothing but an ant in front of us. So keep your plans to yourself and don't even think of interfering. Trust me I will make sure that I will court Xie Yuansheng sooner or later, and the first person who I will throw out of the company would be you!" Saying that Lim Fei Yen gulped the entire wine in one go.

Feng Xinying laughed and replied, "You are right. I am just a secretary," and then went back to Xie Yuansheng immediately.

"Wait, where are you going?" asked Lim Fei Yen running after her.

But Feng Xinying didn't stop and stood right next to Xie Yuansheng who naturally placed his hand on her back. He started stroking it gently without realizing what he was doing. Feng Xinying looked at Lim Fei Yen and smiled as though flaunting their closeness.

Lim Chuen was in the midst of a sentence when they arrived. "I think it would be good idea to keep Lim Fei Yen as one of your managers' in your company. She will have a great head start under you Xie Yuansheng. She can manage all the secretaries under you."

"No way!" Feng Xinying thought.

"A manager of secretaries? That's the first time I have heard of someone managing the secretaries. There is a head secretary who takes care of all secretaries. I am sorry but we already have a large number of secretaries around the CEO. We can't have more," said Feng Xinying looking at Xie Yuansheng innocently fluttering her eyes.

All of a sudden, they heard Yao Yi's voice, "What is my little angel doing without wine? Here take some," she said and handed a large glass to Feng Xinying.

Xie Yuansheng whispered in her ear, "Drink it, you will feel good."
