When they reached the office, they entered the lift together. Feng Xinying invited many stares from the employees. Xie Yuansheng found some men ogling at her, so he just came and stood right in front of her to obstruct them from seeing her.

They reached the floor and walked out together. They were walking while talking to each other so comfortably that onlookers couldn't help but think that they have extremely good chemistry between them and look perfect together.

While Xie Yuansheng went to his office, Feng Xinying went to her office desk. She had a lot of work to do. As soon as she switched on her computer and logged onto the company's site, she saw a notice that Xin Lin had been fired from the company with immediate effect. Surprised at this development, Feng Xinying tried to find the reason in the notice, but there was none.

"Oh so you have seen the notice," said someone from behind making her jump in the seat. It was Yun Chen. She was leaning against her cubicle's wall. "You are such a villain Feng Xinying! You went and complained to the CEO that she had sabotaged your files while it was you who did that. Just a few days in the office, and your mind worked overtime. Poor Xin Lin didn't even get a chance to plead. But I will not sit quietly. I will let the CEO know about your villainy! I will tell him that it was you who had damaged the file on the Baby boo project. Then we will see how nicely he kicks you out of the company and gets Xin Lin back."

Feng Xinying listened to Yun Chen's venomous words quietly and then said, "Be careful of what you are accusing me of. How do you know that the file of the Baby boo project was missing? And why are you connecting it with Xin Lin? Who gave you all this information? Tell me now as now I have to talk to that person myself. I need the proof of the accusation you just splashed on me."

Yun Chen was taken aback. In her entire career no one had the guts to talk back to her. She thought that Feng Xinying is another dumb, beautiful girl that Xie Yuansheng was smitten with and that is why he had kept her as his head secretary. But she didn't know that Feng Xinying would ask such intelligent questions?

Yun Chen was trapped in her own web. She had to come out of it, so she yelled at her so that others could hear, "Feng Xinying, you vile! Wait till I expose your truth in front of the CEO. You are maligning the images of old employees in order to gain his attention."

Feng Xinying rolled her eyes and replied, "Yun Chen I don't have time, so go and try your best to expose me." Saying that she turned her attention to the computer screen.

Yun Chen stomped her foot and went away from there taking the first opportunity out of the conversation showing others that she had been the victim.

After she had gone, Feng Xinying was glued to her screen for the next three hours until it was lunch. She would have missed her lunch when she heard a chirpy voice right beside her, "Xiao Ying, I am hungry. Feed me."

Feng Xinying turned sharply to look at Keira and she burst out laughing. 'How did you get in here?" she asked amused as she switched off her computer.

Keira swayed a little and said, "Perks of knowing the boss's older brother."

"What? But-, how can this be possible?" Feng Xinying was all the more startled at her friend's declaration. Then she got up and pinched Keira's cheeks, "Tell me all about it in details. Let's go and have lunch."

When they reached the cafeteria, they saw that Xie Yuansheng was also having his lunch there along with a few other Vice Presidents of the company. Wang Zǐróng was obviously there sitting right beside him. It was very quiet in the cafeteria and all the employees were talking in hushed tones. It was rare that they saw their CEO having lunch in cafeteria.

Keira saw that and said, "Feng Xinying you must go and sit over there. See how that bitch is sitting so close to Xie Yuansheng."

Feng Xinying saw the two of them and her eyes met with his. He was staring at her so intensely that she blushed. Why would she blush when he looked at her? She broke the gaze and went to the counter to take her food along with Keira saying, "Keira, I don't want to go."

As soon as they got her food from the counter, they started going to an empty table.

"Feng Xinying," he shouted. "Come and sit with us," he demanded leaving her no choice to escape. Feng Xinying turned to look at him with wide eyes. She saw that everyone else in the cafeteria was looking at her.
