Wang Zǐróng jumped to her feet when she saw Xie Yuansheng. She went to him, held his hand and hugged him. "Good morning Xiao Sheng," she said in a seductive tone and went and sat next to him.

"How come you are here?" asked Xie Yuansheng without looking surprised.

"Yun Chen said that you will be meeting Yao Yi today. Since I am also a part of the team, I have come here to assist you," replied Wang Zǐróng softly with a smile as though trying to convey that she was his support.

Xie Yuansheng didn't say anything. He turned to Yao Yi who was in conversation with Feng Xinying who was smiling and nodding gently to her.

Wang Zǐróng saw him looking at Feng Xinying and felt as though someone had stabbed her heart. She mocked at Feng Xinying and said in a low voice, "Does she even know anything about the project? She is new. You should have brought Yun Chen along with you. She said that she knows everything about this project."

Xie Yuansheng ignored her completely. Looking affectionately at Feng Xinying, he said, "I hope the two of you are not talking about my negative points?"

Yao Yi laughed and said, "You are not so important Xie Yuansheng! However, your secretary here is very beautiful. You should make her your wife. She would suit your status well."

Yao Yi was an old person and she hardly withheld her feelings.

Xie Yuansheng smiled and looked at Feng Xinying who was turning red until her ears. "That's an interesting thought Yao Yi," he said trying to make Feng Xinying blush more. He loved the way she would color up even at the slightest provocations. And in his past life, just to see her blush, he would often tease her lewdly. He had an urge to tease her again, but he restrained and admired her inside.

Wang Zǐróng looked at Feng Xinying with disgust. In order to divert the topic, Wang Zǐróng started talking about the business proposal. "Miss Yao Yi, we hear that your hotel had been in debts and that you have to clear lots of them."

Yao Yi was irritated by the way Wang Zǐróng started the conversation on a negative note. She replied, "Where have you heard all that from?"

Wang Zǐróng took out a file from her purse and kept it on the table. She said, "Our department had investigated it and we have the entire detailed report about your investments and debts."

Yao Yi picked the file and read it for ten minutes while there was complete silence. Wang Zǐróng was looking at Xie Yuansheng with a glimmer in her eyes as if conveying, 'See I have dug out reports on the background of her hotel and saved you so much trouble and investment'.

Yao Yi threw the file back on the table and said, "This is utter nonsense! Whoever has made that report is stupid. They have not gathered the data properly. The figures out there are all wrong!" Then she looked at Xie Yuansheng and said, "Xie Yuansheng, since you requested this personal meeting, I have especially taken out my time to meet you. But I didn't know that you would come prepared so pathetically. Have you come only to insult me? If you had that file about me, then why even bother coming and meeting me? For curtsey? Don't worry about that since I am at that age that I don't need it, as I dictate my own terms. You may leave." Yao Yi got very angry and started getting up.

Xie Yuansheng said, "I am sorry Yao Yi, but could you please not be aggressive about it? If our staff has prepared the report, then it could be true."

"Xie Yuansheng please leave," said Yao Yi angrily and left them. Then all of a sudden she turned and said, "Feng Xinying, you seem to be the most reasonable person amongst these. If even you are looking for a job, you can approach me directly."

"Hmmph!" Wang Zǐróng made a face at her. Then she turned to Xie Yuansheng and said, "Yuansheng, let us not waste anymore of our time here. We have to hurry back for our next meeting. You come with me in my car, as I have to discuss about some of the vendors."

Xie Yuansheng said, "No, I will come with Feng Xinying. Thanks for that report but you should have showed that report to me in the office or emailed it to me. What was the point in showing it in front of Yao Yi?"

Wang Zǐróng pursed her lips and said, "I am so sorry Yuansheng but Yun Chen gave me this report in the morning. It is not my fault. I thought this is the best place to show the report since now Yao Yi would know that we are not novice in this trade. It was a good slap in the face of that old woman."

"Let's go Feng Xinying," he said and got up from the sofa. Wang Zǐróng ran after him pushing Feng Xinying slightly out of the way and held his hand in the lift. She tugged at him and said cutely, "Come with me Yuansheng. I have also got your favorite hot steamed buns. You can have them on way to the office."

Xie Yuansheng jerked his hand away from her and said rudely, "Wang Zǐróng, enough! Don't touch me, as I don't like it. Both me and Xinying have had breakfast so let's meet at the office." Saying that he went towards his car leaving Wang Zǐróng with a mouth as wide open as a tunnel.

Feng Xinying couldn't suppress her chortle as she went past by Wang Zǐróng nudging her shoulders slightly and sat in Xie Yuansheng's car grandly. While driving back to the office, Xie Yuansheng instructed Feng Xinying about the next plan.
