It was Monday next day and Feng Xinying had to start going to the office. Being always an extremely professional person, she got ready in time to leave. When she went downstairs she was expecting Xie Yuansheng having breakfast but to her surprise he had already left. She had her breakfast and left for the office and reached ten minutes earlier. She went to her floor and saw that most of the employees had already started pouring in.

Feng Xinying was wearing a pink skirt complemented with a black blouse with flat bellies. Her hair was tied in a neat bun and she looked like any regular employee, only more elegant and beautiful. When she walked in the building people looked with admiration. The fact was that she had already done her research on what to wear for the office because being a model it had become her nature to look good no matter what.

She walked confidently to her place of work and sat down over there. This was her first time and she looked at the table with utter confusion. However, she couldn't show that to others and looked at the various files on her table. The first thing she did was to start the computer. While she was doing all this other secretaries were looking at her in anger. Yun Chen had gone along with CEO Xie Yuansheng to a conference, which was held in the neighboring City B. They were expected to come after the lunch. One of the jealous ones, Xia Lin, who was very close to Yun Chen, clicked Feng Xinying's photo and sent it to Yun Chen along with the caption,

[Who is this new bird in the office? She is already occupying your seat.]

The table of the head secretary had been vacant and Yun Chen was the person who was filling for her for a few months now even though she wasn't given that position. Oblivious to their glares, Feng Xinying continued doing her work. She was slowly becoming acquainted with the various project files over there but things were going top of her head. She wished that she had been a trainee for some days before joining the job straightaway. She sighed and looked at her computer. The fact was that she really didn't know the head or tail of what was in there. And she was amazed at the fact that Xie Yuansheng was managing it all so well.

By the time it was lunch, she became extremely hungry and left for the cafeteria. It was located on the fourth floor. The cafeteria was abuzz with activity as they found places and settled to have their meals. Feng Xinying bought her lunch and found a corner from where she could watch the city beneath through the glass wall. While she was busy having lunch, she heard a man's voice, "Hello, can I sit here with you? There is no place left."

Feng Xinying looked around at the crowded place and said, "Okay," as she continued to eat her lunch. The man in front of her looked at her, smiled and sat down opposite her. At twenty-five, Guo Junxu was a junior manager in the finance department of the company. With straight black hair that was cropped in military style, very elegant appearance and sharp thin lips, he looked like a macho, which Feng Xinying couldn't help noticing.

While having lunch he introduced himself, "Hi, I am Guo Junxu, working here in the finance department. How about you?"

Feng Xinying introduced herself and added that this was her first day. "Oh, then it should be very nice for you. All the employees have to go for an induction program on the first day. Did you go there?"

Feng Xinying didn't know what was that. She shook her head and said, "I have no idea what is that…"

Guo Junxu looked at her with amusement as though which world was she coming from. Then he said with a smile, "It's okay. Yun Chen will tell you. And in case you have any difficulty, you can call me." Feng Xinying cringed on hearing her name. He gave her his phone number. Over the lunch she found him to be very smart and sensible and both of them clicked immediately. They talked about the office and how things worked there. She was intrigued by all the details he was telling her. When the lunch was over, together they left the cafeteria and went to there respective floors.

When Feng Xinying reached there, she straightaway went to her desk. However, as she was looking at the files, within minutes Yun Chen walked to her.

"What the hell do you think you are doing sitting on this table?" she said loud enough for all the people around to listen to her.

Feng Xinying looked at the person rebuking her so sharply and replied calmly, "Can't you see?"
